  9. Image: Lucasarts It already seemed like Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws was going to play like Grand Theft Auto in space, and the game’s latest trailer only heightens that vibe. It also reveals a proper release date: the game will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X / S, and PC on August 30th. The new glimpse at the game is mostly a story trailer, and it focuses on the ********* underworld, a key part of Outlaws. You’re introduced to a ****** family called the Zerek Besh, which is described as “new, rich, and lethal.” They also seem to hold plenty of sway over the rest of the underworld, including groups like the Hutts and Crimson Dawn. 10. The latest video game to join the plethora of film adaptations is indie fishing horror sim Dredge, of all games. You would think that with a concept like "fishing game but there's Eldritch horrors" that it might not have made too many waves (pun intended), but you'd be wrong, as Dredge managed to sell one million copies only six months after it launched. And now, that's resulted in a live-action film adaptation coming as a partnership between developer ****** Salt Games and production company Story Kitchen. You might not have heard of Story Kitchen, but you certainly will have heard of some of the films its co-founder Dmitri Johnson has been involved in. Johnson served as a co-producer on both of the Sonic the Hedgehog films, as well as the upcoming third one. Dredge is just the latest video game adaptation added to Story Kitchen's slate, too, as it's also working on adaptations of We Happy Few, Tomb Raider, Disco Elysium, It Takes Two, Life is Strange, and even more than that. Dredge's official logline for the film reads "Think 'The Sixth Sense' on the water. A grounded atmospheric cosmic horror blend of HP Lovecraft and Ernest Hemingway." Read more View the full article

  18. Ever since he joined G2 Esports in August 2022, HooXi has been the main scapegoat for the Counter-Strike’s team failures. But, recently, the community seems to blame another member of the squad. G2’s fans have been pointing fingers at huNter-, one of the riflers in the team, who according to them has been lackluster for a few months. In a Reddit post from April 18, redditors discussed his poor stats in CS2. Ever since the game released in September last year, the Bosnian player has accumulated a KD ratio of 0.96 and average damage of 70, according to HLTV. Obviously, there’s a much ******* sample size when it comes to huNter-‘s CS:GO stats, where he had 84 average damage, 1.16 KD ratio, and a 1.12 rating, according to HLTV. But these stats are fairly similar for what the rifler put up in 2022, suggesting that so far he just can’t adapt to CS2 as well as to the previous version of the game. View the full article

  20. Gigantic: Rampage Edition introduces something called Fortunes, but what are they and how can you use them? Anyone stumbling upon Fortunes for the first time is bound to be a little confused, so let’s give you the run-down on how they work.Gigantic: What are Fortunes?Although Fortunes aren’t new to players of the original Gigantic, anyone jumping into Gigantic for the first time will be inevitably perplexed. Fortunes in Gigantic are tasks that you can complete to earn XP, Crowns, and lore. Think of them as your usual weekly objectives you can complete in online games for rewards. 22. He's trying to do it again, folks: Zack Snyder wants another shot at his generally poorly received 2011 film ******* Punch. Whenever people talk about ******* Punch, the only thing people ever really mention is how bad it is. I've never actually seen the film, but my general consensus of it is that it's an occasionally cool-looking but dull film void of any character or engaging plot. Overall it doesn't sound like a film that could be fixed with a re-edit, but Snyder thinks otherwise. The Justice League and Dawn of the ***** director recently spoke with Empire in a big new interview, and he was asked if there were any of his movies he'd want to change anything about, but the only one that came up was ******* Punch. "The only movie I would change is ******* Punch, because it never really got finished correctly," Snyder said. "Even the director’s cut is not really the correct cut. It’s really just an extended version. If I had the chance, I would fix that movie." Snyder seemingly didn't elaborate how he would fix it, but there's apparently more of the film never released that would allow him to do so. "I have the footage already shot: they just have to let me put it together. We ask every now and then. We have to ask again. I think there has to be a window when no-one’s got the movie."
