  1. Microsoft and Playground's genuinely long-awaited Fable reboot will launch in 2025, and they've released a new trailer which... seems... good? And is also quite informative about the moment-to-moment of the game. The video is framed as the memoir of a paunchy retired champion, Humphry, who once mentored a young heroine I presume will be the game's main character, though it's ambiguous. She could also be the villain. Then again, Fable is a series in which you can be the villain. Egad, such shenanigans! Read more View the full article

  5. Oh my ****! Max is back in Life is Strange: Double Exposure. This timeline-warping ******* mystery is set to launch on October 29 on PC and Xbox. The trailer, which you can watch below, was shown during the Xbox Showcase at Summer Game Fest 2024. In it we see some good ol' fashioned walking and talking, emotional moments, and tense drama. The foundation this series was built on. Max also appears to be in a brand-new part of the world, far away from her hometown of the first game. Either way, it's nice to see Life is Strange return to its roots somewhat - both for Xbox players and those playing from the comfort of their gaming chairs. Read more View the full article

  21. It's one of those grand weekends of lots of trailers, aka the 2024 summer gaming showcases, but I'm not watching those. I'm playing Empires of the Undergrowth, an absolutely excellent RTS about controlling an ant colony. Like what I'm doing as I write this... Read more.View the full article
