Fallout 76’s player count has boomed again, with over 60,000 new players flooding into the Wastelands to break the 2018 title’s player count high another time. The success of the Fallout television show is the biggest reason for the surge. Although the Amazon Prime series isn’t a direct adaption of any single Fallout game, it weaves the same lore and Easter eggs throughout the show, referencing specific elements and places including New Vegas, the vault’s layout and locked door systems matching those seen in Fallout 76, and how the of course the many nuclear explosions. Palworld players who enjoy petting their Pals, rejoice’ today’s v0.2.3.0 update brings a much-needed fix to a bug that prevented the ability to **** your own Pals. The patch also included a buff to egg-hatching speed in the Egg Incubator and a smattering of other changes. The v0.2.3.0 patch for Palworld arrived on April 21 for both Steam and Xbox players. While the update doesn’t have anything new content-wise, it will now be a lot easier to breed Pals. Stellar Blade developers Shift Up have today confirmed its action-adventure title will be ‘uncensored [in] all countries’, including Japan, where the rules around gore and dismemberment in video games laws are usually quite rigid. In a surprising move, the devs confirmed the news in an official post on the Stellar Blade X (formerly Twitter) account on April 21, writing that: “Stellar Blade offers the same uncensored version in all countries, including the ********* version.” This is surprising considering Japan’s regulatory system in video games, CERO, is quite strict about blood, gore, *********, and dismemberment animations.
