Mortal Kombat 1s next Kameo fighter is Mavado, the high-ranking commander of the ancient Red Dragon clan, and his release date has just been revealed. While Mortal Kombat 1s main roster consists of revamped versions of classic characters in a brand-new timeline, the secondary Kameo fighter line-up contains the time-displaced original versions of combatants from across the old Mortal Kombat games. The most recent update to Fallout 4, aimed at upgrading the game for next-gen platforms, has proven to be highly disruptive. Either by breaking modded games or the mods themselves, the update disgruntled many players. And what else to fix it but other mods, exclusively made to remove the update? Only a day after the next-gen update launched, breaking all the modded saves and their respective mods in the process, players uploaded a new mod to the NexusMods platform aimed at removing the update and rolling the game back to its original state. Palworld already confirmed a massive update is coming to its world this summer. But today, we got our first look at just what’s coming in that release, including more Pals and an entirely fresh island to explore. First shown off at the ID@Xbox showcase on April 29, the new Palworld island seems to be roughly themed around Japan during the spring as cherry blossom trees shower certain areas with their petals and Pals that fit the tone. Amazon’s Fallout TV show has brought new life to the decades-long franchise, and of course, players want to combine as much of the games with it as possible. Recreations of the show’s characters are cropping up everywhere, particularly in Fallout 4, whose robust character creator is perfect for the job. One of the best custom characters based on the show is a Reddit user’s Lucy-inspired Fallout 4 female protagonist. They shared their masterpiece in an April 27 thread to a very positive response, and deservedly so. The character is the spitting image of the Fallout show’s lead protagonist, played by Ella Purnell, and makes maximum use of the game’s incredibly detailed character creator. One dedicated fan of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has added two haptic feedback suits that simulate real pain to their already $15,000 mass immersion setup. As reported by GamesRadar, GingasVR on X/Twitter shared how they've made their Skyrim virtual reality experience even more immersive by adding touch and feeling to the world. GingasVR, who already boasted an extensive VR setup that includes an HTC Vive headset, three Vive trackers, microphones, and face trackers, as well as tons of mods, has added an OWO haptic feedback suit, a haptic feedback vest, and smart plugs hooked up to fans. The first suit contains electrodes that shock the player when they receive actual damage in the game, while the second is purely for vibrations to simulate feelings of water and other less intense feelings. The fans are hooked up to simulate temperature, so they'll turn on when visiting colder regions of Skyrim and off when it's warmer. GingasVR also used an OpenAI mod to give characters unique and adaptive dialogue which, partnered with their microphone and a mod that projects speech in-game, allows for lifelike interactions with the residents of Skyrim. With The Elder Scrolls 6 still five years away at least, fans have had to find their own ways, like this, to keep the ageing Skyrim entertaining. Another player recently accrued a 267,000 gold bounty murdering 5,000 NPCs in a quest to ***** "everything that was killable", for example, while one fan recreated the game in Age of Empires 2. Waves of sentimental fans recently booted up their old Xbox 360s and PlayStation 3s to "retire" their original characters too, showing how much Skyrim has remained in player consciousness over its 12 years of being available.
