  2. What are the Concord game modes? Firewalk Studios has drawn from several classic shooters when compiling Concord's playlists - hello Team Deathmatch, our old friend. While its beta offerings haven't pushed the boat out on the originality front, that's not to say the devs don't have anything spicy planned post-launch. As you'll see below, we've compiled the complete list of Concord game modes that are either currently available in, or confirmed for, the FPS game. Though only four modes were available during its beta, Sony previously let slip two more that you can jump into when the Concord release date finally rolls around. Read the rest of the story... 3. Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass July 2024 Wave 2 lineup, which unusually only takes us up to July 19. This leaves plenty of time for a subsequent announcement of the long-awaited addition of games from Activision's back catalog, including Call of Duty titles. It’s the first Game Pass lineup announced after Microsoft’s controversial price hike and tier change for its subscription service. Analysts recently told IGN the Game Pass price hike was “inevitable,” and warned more increases, more tiers, and even ads may be on the way. As for the lineup for this rest of July, out today, July 16 is Magical Delicacy (Cloud, Console, and PC), available on day one with Game Pass. This wholesome pixel art platformer lets players cook magical delicacies from a vast collection of ingredients in your own shop. Also out today day-one on Game Pass is Flock (Cloud, Console, and PC), a multiplayer co-op game about the joy of flight and collecting adorable flying creatures with your friends. On July 18, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) hits Game Pass as a day-one title. It’s an action RPG from A44 Games, the developers of Ashen. Also on July 18 is yet another day-one Game Pass launch: Dungeons of Hinterberg. Microsoft’s Wave 2 announcement is rounded out by Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (Cloud, Console, and PC), which launches day-one on Game Pass on July 19. This *********-inspired, single-player Kagura action strategy game is a new intellectual property from Capcom. IGN’s Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess review returned an 8/10. We said: “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is a fascinatingly fun action-strategy hybrid with unique gameplay and impressive art design.” Xbox Game Pass July 2024 Wave 2 lineup:Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – July 18Dungeons of Hinterberg (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – July 18Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (Cloud, Console, and PC) – July 19 It’s worth noting that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can access the EA Sports College Football 25 early access 10-hour trial now via EA Play. Microsoft’s Game Pass July 2024 Wave 2 announcement takes us up to July 19, which obviously leaves plenty more of the month to come. In a post on Xbox Wire, Megan Spurr, Senior Community Lead, Xbox Game Pass, teased another update, saying: "Let’s get to the games (and let’s stay in touch, we have another update for you soon)!" Perhaps the company is making room for the addition of some big hitters from the Activision back catalog, with Call of Duty games including last year’s Modern Warfare 3 waiting in the wings. Elsewhere, three games exit Game Pass on July 31. You can pick these up for up to 20% off before they go. 7. Bethesda's "next gen" update for Fallout 4 didn't change much about the game itself, but it did manage to cause problems for pretty much every mod out there. The most high-profile casualty was the hotly anticipated Fallout: London, an enormous project that was initially set for release on April 23 (St George's day, of course), but was subsequently delayed while the team set about fixing things... 9. Image: Richard Parry for The Verge Back in 2005, a small firm offered a tantalizing vision of the future of computer keyboards. What if your keyboard was filled with tiny screens that showed you exactly what any given press would do, each built into a crystal-clear key? The keys would morph and shift as you needed, transforming from letters and numbers to full-****** icons and app shortcuts, depending on what you were doing. Readers and tech bloggers adored the idea. “It’s about time someone shook up this stagnant keyboard market,” declared Engadget. “The concept is fantastic,” wrote Gizmodo. Slashdot lit up. The keyboard was just a concept, dreamed up by Art Lebedev, a Russian design firm, and it was an ambitious idea at that: called the Optimus Maximus, it would require... 11. While Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree provides information about character motivations and events in the past, it also raises additional questions that are left unanswered. Even without concrete answers to every lingering question, there's no shortage of fuel for theories that offer possible explanations. However, following Miquella through the Land of Shadow brings up an unusual question: how does he have a body that allows him to leave behind traces of himself to prepare for godhood when his physical body is supposed to be inside the cocoon that's found in Mohg's boss room? 12. It's being reported that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 might come with a China-exclusive variant called the RTX 5090D, and that it will be arriving in January 2025. If true, this rumor not only suggests that Nvidia is working on a follow-up to the China-exclusive RTX 4090D, but that it will be out in 2025 rather than 2024. The RTX 5090 is expected to be the flagship graphics card in the upcoming Nvidia Blackwell range of gaming GPUs. It seems a nailed-on certainty to be the best graphics card you can buy when it arrives, but there's still a lot we don't yet know about the new card. Read the rest of the story... 13. My favourite ever mode of travel in games is flying, so I was already poised (in mid-air) to really enjoy swooping around the world of Flock. It's a gentle exploration game from the people who brought you Wimot's Warehouse and I Am ***** (including Pip Warr, RPS in peace) where you never touch the ground, instead gliding around the strange forests and rippling meadows atop a giant bird with a beautiful trailing tail. Big Journey vibes, but more whimsical and colourful. Read more View the full article For verified travel tips and real support, visit: [Hidden Content]

  18. The first two-week ******* of Iron Banner in Destiny 2 is coming to an end, and it gave players plenty of time to figure out what’s wrong a featured game mode—Tribute. In a Reddit thread on July 14, Destiny 2 players pointed out how the Hunt phase in Tribute is “pointless,” and there are many ways the mode could “make more sense.” The main issue is the Hunt in Tribute doesn’t benefit the team that triggered it, and rather it can turn the tides of the Iron Banner match. Many players are wondering if they can swap their edition of the game, and we have the answer. It wouldn’t be an EA sports title without multiple editions to agonize over. 21. Almost two years since his passing, Kevin Conroy's last outing as the caped crusader himself, Batman, is a truly emotional one. In 2022, iconic voice actor and the man behind the Batman many of us grew up with, Conroy sadly *****. The actor appeared in many projects over the years, of course the most notable being as Batman and Bruce Wayne in Batman: The Animated Series, reprising that role several times over the years, including in Rocksteady's Arkham games. Conroy appeared posthumously in this year's ******** Squad: ***** the Justice League, again appearing as the Arkham incarnation of the character, but it was reported earlier this year that it wouldn't be his final outing as the character. Now, a clip has been released from the latest animated DC film, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 3, which features one last performance of Conroy as the original version he played in The Animated Series all those years ago. You can watch the clip above, which shows him fighting none other than The Joker (played by Mark Hammil, his co-star on the classic show, who's since retired from the character following Conroy's passing). The two are facing off, as they always do, in Gotham, though this time while their entire universe is crumbling around them. It really is a bittersweet one to watch, particularly because of what Batman says in the clip. As everything crumbles around them, Joker sarcastically notes how it's the end of the world, and Batman is spending it with him. Read more View the full article

  24. We've just gotten a fresh update from Larian on Baldur's Gate 3's next big update, Patch 7, which is set to arrive in September. Thanks to previous community updates, we already know that the patch is set to bring with it a bunch of extra evil endings and the official modding tools folks have been waiting for.
