Deadpool & Wolverine is right around the corner, and that means stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, as well as director Shawn Levy, will be getting bombarded with incisive questions for the next few weeks. Of course, the matter of whether the two iconic Marvel characters will return for one or two Avengers movies has already been brought up, and to our surprise, the trio is doing a very bad job of hiding the truth. The relevant bits can be found in Variety's interview with the two actors and the director, who have done as much heavy lifting themselves to sell the ***** out of the movie as Disney and Marvel's marketing teams. The entire conversation is well worth a read if you still care about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially given that the Deadpool threequel - including Hugh Jackman's return as Logan - has been inherited from the 20th Century Fox era of the X-Men-related characters and represents Disney-owned Marvel Studios' first foray into R-rated territory. "But it’s never rated R just to be rated R. A lot of it is just the character. The character is very crass. His brain is like a half-eaten omelet inside the skull of a 7-year-old," Reynolds says about the adults-only rating, likely fully aware that many entire families will go watch it together regardless, as the early box office tracking suggests. Warning, spoilers for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree lie ahead. While everyone loves Messmer, another Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree chracter that's become a hit is Igon, the warrior who shows up at one point to essentially drop a brutally scathing diss track on big bad dragon boss Bayle the Dread. As it turns out, the actor who delivered those lines, Richard Charles Lintern, had a pretty bewildering, but fun, time doing so. In an interview with IGN, Lintern has recounted his experience working with FromSoft and Miyazaki on the DLC, which was his first foray into video game voice acting, despite having appeared in plenty of TV shows, films, and theatre productions. The Boys season 4 is alright. Folks who have only just realized they were being made fun of hate it, but otherwise it's a solid set of episodes. That said, the show has clearly grown too attached to these characters and the universe, with one spinoff already out (and a second season in the works) plus another one prepping to go into production. Some members of the cast, however, want to take things even further and make a movie to wrap the main series up. This came up during an in-person conversation with Josh Horowitz for the Happy Sad Confused podcast, where Laz Alonso (Mother's Milk) and Antony Starr (Homelander) expressed their interest in ending the five-season show on the big screen. "I've been unsuccessfully pitching that we end the show with a feature film to Eric [Kripke]... Like, make the last episode of season five the cliffhanger and announce the film that we've been filming since the beginning of the series, pretty much, you know. But he always somehow gets out of that one and doesn't," Alonso explained. Starr promptly asked his co-star whether that would be a full theatrical release and received a positive answer. "Okay, I'm down," the actor behind Homelander concluded. Read more View the full article

As a quick glance at my Papa John's account will tell you, I’ve enough of an addictive personality that I’ve consciously avoided Vampire Survivors and its -likes, in the ***** that the carefully balanced professionalisation of my dedicated goblin lifestyle will tip over the edge. As such, I don’t have enough experience to tell you whether the currently free Pizza Hero is an especially interesting or innovative riff on the formula. However, I am simple-minded enough to enjoy the epic bacon 1.5 humour of a sentient pizza slice with a dog for a companion upgrading itself one topping at a time. This action roguelike reeks of concentrated internet like a week old-slice nestled amidst a stack of free AOL disks. But! It’s cute and fun and free, and that’s enough for me. Welcome, newcomer Fortnite, to the vaunted halls currently occupied by gut bacteria, jar-grown rat neurons, lawnmowers, teletext, electric toothbrushes, Windows notepad (sort of), and a pregnancy test. The First Descendant fans have today called for NEXON to add a vote-to-kick feature as soon as possible as the number of inactive players simply loading into missions to collect rewards while others actually do the work continues to grow. Like all looter-shooters, there comes a time when you simply have to dig in and grind for the materials you need to level weapons and gear. It can be a bit tedious, of course, and some players have decided that instead of rolling up their sleeves, they want to just tag along, do the bare minimum, and in some case AFK in missions just to collect loot.
