  1. Armored Core 6 wasn’t FromSoftware’s biggest game, but it still managed to snag Best Action Game at last year’s Game Awards. That seems to have been enough to warrant a sequel or DLC, as a job listing suggests the company is working on a new Armored Core project. First spotted by cindiestarlight on the Tech4Gamers forum, the job listing was posted on FromSoftware’s “Careers” website, where the company is looking for a Character Modeler for “modeling and texturing characters or robots,” among other things. Of course, this is a vague listing that could mean a lot, and though we don’t have a definitive answer as to what exactly FromSoftware is making, the “robots” in question seem to point at a potential Armored Core 7 or a DLC for last year’s Armored Core 6. 4. A Destiny 2 player has managed to clear the Salvation's Edge raid solo for the first time ever. Normally designed to be completed by a full team of six players, Destiny 2 raids are among the hardest challenges in the game, which would make this solo completion one of the rarest accomplishments in the game's history so far. 5. Starfield may already allow players to build and pilot their own spaceships but one fan has a fantastic theory that could introduce a whole new form of vehicle to the game. Throughout players' cosmic adventures, Bethesda often teases the possibility of sliding into the cockpit of a towering mech suit and roaming around a planet, dispensing lethal justice with an assortment of heavy weapons. Unfortunately, the game's lore forbids this mechanic, meaning users have been forced to speculate on whether or not it could ever happen in the future. View the full article

  10. One feature is becoming highly requested for the popular ARPG Diablo 4, but its addition would likely ******** the game. Diablo 4 has already had its fair share of troubles since launch. A promising campaign experience and core gameplay were ruined by three lackluster seasons that nearly ******* the title. This was coupled with grinding mechanics that were more punishing than rewarding, especially for a casual audience. View the full article

  12. You might've heard about Kevin Costner's ambitious four-movie epic western project titled Horizon: An ********* Saga, but chances are you didn't show up to watch the first part in cinemas. Now, the box office disaster is so bad that Warner Bros. Pictures (through New Line Cinema) has removed Chapter 2 from the theatrical schedule. The news (via THR) arrived on July 10, roughly two weeks after the first part's release in cinemas. Reviews weren't kind to the first installment of the ambitious endeavor, and the movie has barely scratched $25 million worldwide, with more than $23 million coming from the ******* States. Long story short: it sure sounds like modern audiences only want to watch their westerns at home. While expectations surrounding the movie's financial performance weren't super high, this comes across as a surprisingly brutal flop, especially when we take into account the sheer success of Yellowstone and its spinoff shows with TV audiences. Costner departed that 'universe' to focus on his long-planned four-part epic, which was a passion project he's been cooking as early as 1988, and we're certain he hoped to transfer some of that prosperity to Horizon. 20. How does the battle pass work in Once Human? The battle pass system in Once Human gives players the chance to earn exclusive in-game items in the form of cosmetics, materials, and more. The best part is that there's a free battle pass, so you don't even have to spend any money. That said, if you want nicer looking items, they're going to be locked away in the essential pass. When it comes to customizing your Once Human character, the cheapest way to acquire the most cosmetics is by purchasing the battle pass. This does mean you risk of running into rival players on the battlefield wearing the same outfit as you, a scenario we would hate to find ourselves in, personally. If you get in on the action early, after the first few Once Human server wipes, your season one battle pass items might be some of the rarest items in the survival game. There's currently an issue with the Once Human battle pass that the devs didn't manage to resolve for launch, stopping you from using the same battle pass across multiple characters. Here's what you need to know about the Once Human battle pass, including what you can get in it and how much it's going to set you back. Read the rest of the story... 23. There are plenty of strong enemies in Elden Rings new DLC, but one particular Shadow of the Erdtree foe seems unfairly powerful for a non-boss. Even though many people have already learned that boss fights are not always the deadliest parts of Shadow of the Erdtree, it cannot be denied that the DLCs foes are extremely frustrating at times. Nevertheless, many Tarnished have experienced tougher fights than what might be expected at certain points. View the full article
  24. Double Dragon Revive is a new 3D game in the veteran beat ‘em up series published by Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear Strive developer Arc System Works and developed by AEW ****** Forever maker Yuke's. It's revered as one of the most influential beat 'em ups of all time, with classics like Final ****** and Streets of Rage following in its footsteps. Arc System Works acquired the rights to Double Dragon and fellow classic beat ‘em up series Kunio-Kun (River City) from Technos Japan Corp in 2015. Since then, it has released multiple games in the aforementioned series. Chief among them is Double Dragon 4, which was made in collaboration with the series’ original director Yoshihisa Kishimoto, and its anime-influenced spin-off River City ******. While the former received poor reviews, the latter garnered critical acclaim. What’s more, River City ****** 2 featured Double Dragon leads Billy and Jimmy Lee as playable DLC characters.
