Almost two years since his passing, Kevin Conroy's last outing as the caped crusader himself, Batman, is a truly emotional one. In 2022, iconic voice actor and the man behind the Batman many of us grew up with, Conroy sadly *****. The actor appeared in many projects over the years, of course the most notable being as Batman and Bruce Wayne in Batman: The Animated Series, reprising that role several times over the years, including in Rocksteady's Arkham games. Conroy appeared posthumously in this year's ******** Squad: ***** the Justice League, again appearing as the Arkham incarnation of the character, but it was reported earlier this year that it wouldn't be his final outing as the character. Now, a clip has been released from the latest animated DC film, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 3, which features one last performance of Conroy as the original version he played in The Animated Series all those years ago. You can watch the clip above, which shows him fighting none other than The Joker (played by Mark Hammil, his co-star on the classic show, who's since retired from the character following Conroy's passing). The two are facing off, as they always do, in Gotham, though this time while their entire universe is crumbling around them. It really is a bittersweet one to watch, particularly because of what Batman says in the clip. How do you end up working on The Witcher 4? Well, it turns out one member of the team ended up there due to some modding work they were doing in the free time they had around being a beetroot farmer. They're certainly not the only CD Projekt dev who got their industry start that way, either Pawel Sasko, who's currently the associate game director on Cyberpunk 2077's sequel, discussed how important bringing on board former modders has been for the developer in a recent interview with Flow Games. One particular case he highlighted was that of Witcher 4 senior quest designer Eero Varendi, who was orignally brought on board by CD Projekt after the company spotted one of the mods he'd made while off-duty from growing veggies. Tower of Fantasy developer Hotta Studio has shown off its next title, Neverness to Everness, a wild looking game that mixes a range of your favourite games. Grand Theft Auto as a series is already pretty ridiculous, but Hotta Studio looks to be topping that with Neverness to Everness (say that five times fast), its newest upcoming open-world RPG that is clearly borrowing from Rockstar's line of games. Hotta revealed a trailer and first-look at gameplay earlier today, and it's looking like a promising new title. For one, there's the GTA elements. Unlike the fantasy worlds of Genshin Impact and Tower of Fantasy, Neverness to Everness has an urban setting, which much like GTA, you can drive around in, damaging all sorts of property as you do so. I couldn't tell from the trailer if you can just hop into any car you like a la GTA, but you can customise your vehicle at the very least. The game is set in the "supernatural city of NTE" and that looks like it'll be relevant for the driving sections too, as one portion of the trailer shows you chasing after a ghostly motorbike through the city. Weirdly, while wandering about on foot, these supernatural elements seem to be taking a leaf out of Control's book. At one point while exploring the city, the trailer shows everything taking a turn for the weird, its inhabitants disappearing, and a bunch of vending machines forming some kind of doorway.
