1. It seems inevitable that ****** Myth: Wukong will receive a DLC expansion, and the rumored release window would actually be the perfect time for the game to get more content. As a challenging action game that takes inspiration from the classic ******** novel Journey to the West, ****** Myth: Wukong has found a huge audience thanks to its impressive presentation and memorable boss fights. Although the experience isn't perfect, it excels in ways that stand out from competitors, and it's a common favorite among games released in 2024 so far. View the full article

 4. The sad reality of video games is the troublesome issue of preservation. The medium is more complex than books or film since many games need to run on specific platforms or won’t run on modern PCs due to technical issues beyond my understanding. 5. It's been quite a year for Tango Gameworks. After releasing the acclaimed Hi-Fi Rush in 2023, it was shut down by Microsoft in May 2024, only to be rescued from oblivion a few months later by PUBG publisher Krafton. In a new interview with Game Developer, Krafton CEO Changhan 'CH' Kim explained the company's motivation for snapping up Tango, and he claims it wasn't for money—it was for the love of the game... 6. The original Logitech G915 was a slick-looking, slimline gaming keyboard but with a few aspects that, particularly in retrospect, reduced its appeal. Now Logitech's back with a new version that includes better switches, new keycaps, a thicker aluminum chassis, and more options for customization too. I got my hands on the new Logitech G915 X to see how it all adds up. While the original version of the Logitech G915 may have dropped off our best gaming keyboard guide, it ******** a decent little gaming keyboard if you're after a low-profile design. However, the new version is clearly the better option if you're looking to upgrade now, based on our initial time with it. Read the rest of the story... I've used Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro gaming RAM in features and systems more times than I've had hot dinners, and for good reasons These gaming memory modules are always very well priced, they look fantastic, and they have other benefits too. I'm testing a 16GB (2 x 8GB) dual-channel 3,600MHz kit here, which costs just $59.99. That's an incredible price for this memory, and you can pick up a 32GB kit for just $85 as well. 9. There's a lot to like about Stormgate. The free Steam game from Frost Giant Studios draws inspiration from RTS greats including StarCraft as well as Command and Conquer, and while its early access launch has been met with mixed reception I'm still watching it with keen interest. The fundamentals of gameplay are strong, and its Celestials are the most fascinating faction I've seen in a strategy game in years. Excitingly, Stormgate's first major update includes a new Celestial hero alongside more maps, co-op challenges, and more. Read the rest of the story... 10. You've struck oil in Frostpunk 2, but it's not going to do you much good out in the frozen frostland. You'll need to extract the oil (also known as ****** gold and Texas tea in some parts) and then transfer it to your city. It's not a complicated process but the tool that lets you transfer resources between your colony and your city can be a little hard to spot when there's so many other icons and notifications and UI elements on your screen... 11. Playing through Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, it's impossible not to hear the battle cries and motivational speeches given by Cadian soldiers, piqueing new players' curiosity. Fighting tooth and nail in Space Marine 2, these soldiers prove themselves time and time again as the bravest the empire has to offer. But the Cadians are just one of the ways Space Marine 2's developers at Saber Interactive pay homage to the franchise, proving it's made by fans for fans of the iconic Warhammer 40,000 setting. 14. The PS5 Pro version of the 30th anniversary bundle comes with both varieties of DualSense controller, a plate for an (optional) optical drive, and other accessories. [credit: Sony ] Sony launched the original PlayStation console in Japan on December 3, 1994, and Sony isn't letting the 30th anniversary pass by quietly. Today the company has announced limited-edition versions of both the PS5 and PS5 Pro with gray plastic shells and multicolored PlayStation logos, inspired by the gray plastic shells of the original. The retro-inspired modern consoles will be released on November 21 and will be available for preorder starting September 26 from [Hidden Content] site. Sony is also releasing DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers with gray shells and colorful PS logo buttons and a gray version of the Switch-esque PlayStation Portal streaming console. Sony says that the limited-edition PS5 Pro will be limited to 12,300 units—a reference to the December 3 launch date—but didn't mention any specific manufacturing numbers for the regular PS5, either DualSense controller design, or the PlayStation Portal. Both console bundles also come with a handful of other accessories: a PS logo sticker, a PS logo paperclip, cable ties, and (my personal favorite) a regular USB-C cable with a giant, chunky PS1-style controller connector on one end. 15. What are the best tips for Frostpunk 2? Any good strategy or city-builder game really challenges you, and Frostpunk might just be one of the most difficult, given the treacherous, apocalyptic climate you and your colonists are trying to survive in. 16. What is the best Warzone DTIR 30-06 loadout? Battle rifles are (forgive the pun) a little hit and miss in Warzone; they often lose out over their ******** rifle cousins due to a less forgiving rate of *****, and a more specialized role in the battle royale. The DTIR 30-06 however, is an offering that might just straddle both classes of *******, giving us the best of both worlds, especially when kitted out correctly. The new Warzone season is here, and as usual, the update brought with it a handful of new Warzone guns, including the DTIR 30-06. 17. Enlarge / Artist's conception of what used to be possible, before BattlEye ruined things. Last week, Rockstar added BattlEye support to Grand Theft Auto V, offering some much-needed anti-cheat protection for the game's highly successful "GTA Online" multiplayer mode. That anti-cheat support wasn't welcome news for Steam Deck players, though, who now get confronted with an error when trying to log in to GTA Online. According to Valve, though, Rockstar could solve this minor technical issue with a single email. In both a Steam Community update and a Rockstar Support FAQ, the developer notes that "Steam Deck does not support BattlEye for GTA Online. You will be able to play GTAV Story Mode but unable to play GTA Online." As such, GTA V's Steam page now lists the game as "Unsupported" for Steam Deck users, because "the game's anti-cheat is not configured to support Steam Deck." 18. Some moments in my career have felt somewhat surreal. Making promises to grab drinks with Ovewatch's Mercy VA at the Edinburgh Fringe (next year, Lucie), interviewing Diablo 4's Joe Shely and Rod Fergusson in the hotel where The Spice ****** filmed Wannabe - they're things I dreamed of but never believed would actually happen. I also never thought I'd sit in EA's San Francisco headquarters, surrounded by stunning tarot-inspired art from Dragon Age: The Veilguard. I'm here for a lengthy seven-hour preview of the upcoming fantasy game, surrounded by tavern-style wooden tables and lines of PCs. I was obsessed with the female base model's spiked hair and ******* nose, so hadn't even customized her. As she approached me on the ramparts of Skyhold, it was as though everything just came flooding back - my relationship with Fenris, siding with Anders, defeating the Arishock; a tidal wave of tingly nostalgia. 20. It's now 11 years since Europa Universalis 4 first arrived. The Winds of Change DLC landed back in May, and EU4, naturally, is so big that it feels like there's plenty of life left in it still, but with Civilization 7 on the horizon, we're very curious to see what Paradox is planning for the potential sequel. Though it's still not been officially confirmed, a lot of signs suggest that Europa Universalis 5 is already in the works. In fact, Paradox is already sharing details about the would-be sequel's systems and maps - it's still codenamed Project Caesar, but we just got some fresh information on what may well be EU5. 22. Yesterday, Nintendo announced that it had finally turned its baleful gaze on Palworld, and would be pursuing legal action in the Tokyo District Court against developer Pocketpair over alleged patent infringement. But which patents? Nintendo's press release accuses Palworld of infringing on "multiple patent rights," but Pocketpair says it doesn't know which patents it's supposed to have violated, and Nintendo hasn't elaborated. While we wait for more specifics on the lawsuit, I've been digging into patents held by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company to see where Mario's lawyers might be anchoring their case.
