The Tesla Cybertruck has finally arrived in Fortnite, and while Elon Musk ******** a polarizing figure in the social sphere, his Cybertruck ******** a big talking point. Now, you can drive it yourself in Epic’s battle royale. The Cybertruck is a big, bulky, expensive, rare commodity on the road. It’s undergone various iterations and redesigns over the years, but the unusually shaped Cybertruck continues to be sold—exclusively in North America. If you’re dying to get your hands on a Tesla Cybertruck of your own, say hello to Fortnite. View the full article
The First Descendant players were excited about Nexon’s recent announcement regarding the farming buffs, but it ended up being a translation error. In a follow-up post to X on July 22, The First Descendant provided a correcting statement regarding the farming changes: “So, we would like to inform you, that we’re preparing a patch without completely blocking The Fortress Outpost issue and to keep allowing the players to enjoy playing like before. However, at the same time, we will update the Fortress – Vulgus Strategic Outpost to match the efficiency of other farming locations.” View the full article
If you're wondering why the closed beta for Baldur's Gate 3's seventh patch is delayed, picture this: You've sat down to play D&D with your mates. You're all excited to toy with some new homebrew content your DM has organised. You go to make a Wisdom (Perception) check to spot anything amiss in the room when, unprompted, your DM reaches across the table, grabs your dice, and throws them out of the window... Warning: Spoilers for The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone lie ahead. You might disagree, but to me, the title of most terrifying thing you encounter in The Witcher 3 goes to the Hearts of Stone expansion's Gaunter O'Dimm. Sure, he's a lot less in your face than a lot of the monsters and foes Geralt faces, but he's hinted to potentially be the most evil and powerful. Anyway, there's now a mod that sticks him in some swimming gear. Yep, if you've ever been a bit unnerved by ol' Master Mirror's ability to pause time itself, cause shipwrecks in an instant, and recall the secret to making perfect gingerbread, it's ok, you can now slap some armbands on him to lessen his general spookiness. Or maybe this increases it? I'm having trouble deciding, to be honest. Read more View the full article

Marvel is invading the world of Fortnite once again with a new bundle that leaked ahead of the release of the Deadpool & Wolverine movie. The two characters are not new to the world of Fortnite, with Deadpool being part of Chapter Two, season two battle pass, and Wolverine appearing in Chapter Two, season four. But the pair are coming back with a new look. View the full article
Deadpool & Wolverine is set to feature plenty of cameos, but a few of them might be some red herrings from Marvel. Over several Deadpool & Wolverine trailers, it's become clear that its multiversal story will have more than one cameo from X-Men films past, with a really big one having been revealed in the film's final trailer (seriously, you might not want to watch that one if you're particularly spoiler averse). There has also been reports of numerous other characters that are set to appear in the film, with their original actors reprising their roles, but according to a recent interview with GamesRadar, the film's executive producer Wendy Jacobson has shared that a few of them might have been planted fake leaks to throw fans off the scent of its actual cameos. Jacobson told GamesRadar that "there may or may not have been some subterfuge and misdirections on the internet or in-person in order to protect the secrecy." She went on to say that she "can neither confirm nor deny any cameos in this film but I will say, in terms of characters that may or may not appear, it was always important to us that nothing in this movie feels like a gimmick. Anyone showing up has a crucial story purpose or a beginning, middle, and end as a character arc. It was definitely a collaborative process of seeing who fit in and who didn't." I've not played Counter- Strike 2 in yonks, but I know a big update when I see one. That's right: Valve have added some new crates just outside of counter-********** spawn, near bombsite A. This means that players can now use these boxes to hop from CT up to catwalk with little fuss, where previously you'd need to use your teammates' heads as a springboard. What does this mean as a layperson who sort of plays the game sometimes? More than you might think! Read more View the full article

All five of you Eternals fans out there might be quite disappointed to hear what Kevin Feige has to say about a sequel. This might be a touch mean, but I think it's possible that Eternals is one of the most forgettable films in the MCU's catalogue. I couldn't tell you a single thing that happened in that film, and despite the fact it was a rare Marvel Studios film that was actually shot on location, it still managed to look lifeless as all *****. It was clearly meant to be another attempt at something like Guardians of the Galaxy, taking a lesser known group of characters and propelling them to stardom, but there just wasn't that same charm, or even an interesting story. What didn't help is that it came out in 2021, when COVID was still massively affecting cinemas, leading the film to take $402 million home at the box office on a $236 million budget, not exactly a big win. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige recently spoke with Inverse about a potential sequel, but it basically sounds like you just shouldn't expect one. "There are no immediate plans for Eternals 2," Feige told Inverse. "There are, and I think you’ve seen maybe in a trailer we’ve released recently, an acknowledgment of some of those events. Certain giant things came out of the ocean." Read more View the full article

Baldur's Gate 3 fans may be excited for Patch 7 but the community will unfortunately need to wait a little longer for the beta as Larian Studios encounters a strange issue with the game. While it may not implement any fundamentally game-changing mechanics, the upcoming update is expected to further flesh out specific parts of the game's sweeping narrative, especially in the case of those who chose to follow The Dark Urge. The news may not be what players were hoping for, but at least it demonstrates Larian's continued dedication to the game. View the full article

A glance at comedy medieval medic sim Stretcher Men might have you believe it is a co-op game about co-ordination and teamwork. Not so! It's a singleplayer game in which you control not one but both carriers of a stretcher. You have to ferry a ***** man over the hilly countryside, past muddy lake banks and over snowy mountains, all without dropping him on the ground. I can only imagine it controls a bit like Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons, but with added ragdoll jollity. We'll know next week, when it releases on Steam. Read more View the full article
League of Legends Patch 14.15 aims to halt double ADC compositions, specifically in high elo and competitive games, according to lead designer Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison. Phroxzon announced the changes on X, citing more nerfs to tackle the high presence of double ADC compositions. In the LCS alone, Tristana has a 93% pick and ban presence as the second most-picked champion in the mid lane, according to [Hidden Content]. Phroxzon says these compositions featured heavily in “very high MMR,” so Riot is looking to continue the work it did to tackle this problem in Patch 14.13. View the full article

If you've been looking forward to diving into Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 7's closed beta after securing your spot, there's some bad news. Unfortunately, Larian's had to delay it a bit, after the game's dice decided to stop working as intended while the developers were trying to resolve some other issues. The beta had previously been set to kick off yesterday, July 22, as outlined in last week's community update from Larian, which saw the studio continue to name the nine million things it's packing into the update — having somehow not run out of stuff after telling us about the extra evil endings and the official modding tools. "Well, the Patch 7 Closed Beta was set to begin today, but while preparing the build for you, we were once more humbled by the classic lesson taught to every game dev while playing bug-fix whack-a-mole: if you fix one bug over here, another one might still pop up over there," Larian explained in a fresh update post on Steam.
