The original Nvidia Shield might be nine years old now, but it's still getting some love. Nvidia has just released a brand new update for all Nvidia Shield and Shield Pro models that adds several bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, including an important fix for GeForce Now streaming. Even with aging hardware, these Nvidia TV boxes are still great for streaming games remotely using the Steam Link app for your local Steam games or GeForce Now for everything else. The newest Shield Pro's Nvidia Tegra X1+ SoC, the same chip found in the Nintendo Switch, is great for streaming. The change of leadership comes less than a year after Hartman took on the head of Xbox Game Studios role after Matt ****** was promoted to an expanded president of game content and studios position. In an email to Xbox employees today, seen by The Verge, ****** shared that Hartman is retiring at the end of November after more than 30 years at Microsoft. Hartman originally started at Microsoft inside the CD-ROM group in 1988, before working on Age of Empires, Brute Force, and studio head of Digital Anvil. There is some debate in the fandom over which Dragon Quest game is the best, but Dragon Quest III often comes up as one of the stronger entries. Originally released in 1988 in Japan and given a western release in 1992, it has since been remade a couple of times. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is releasing in a month, and it is going to be the most ambitious remake to date.
