If you pre-ordered the Collector's Edition of *********'s Creed Shadows and were expecting to play the game three days before its general release, according to a new post on the RPG series' official Discord this will no longer be possible. Previously, Ubisoft confirmed that the release date for the new stealth RPG had been delayed and that all pre-orders would be refunded. The Far Cry and Rainbow Six Siege developer also said that all players would be able to access the game at the same time on launch day. However, this new update, from a longstanding Ubisoft community developer, makes it clearer that AC Shadows' early-access ******* has been scrapped. Factorio has been around for what feels like forever, but with the recent Spage Age DLC and a new update, a lot of the basic commands have changed from what we remember, including the ability to switch weapons. Initially, you would switch weapons using TAB or Q. But now, for some reason, the Factorio developers decided to change the default button layout for changing weapons and other buttons with the recent DLC. I forgot about just-launched horror game Tormenture when ravelling together this week's round-up of potent PC releases, but thankfully, Maw disciple Fachewachewa was on my case in the comments. It's one of your 'cursed video game' videogames in the spirit of Inscryption and Pony Island, and based on a quick blast with the demo, it seems lush. It's set in the 1980s, a premise I now automatically find horrible because I was born in the 1980s and that was, like, a million years ago. You're a **** who's playing a legendary 8-bit game that's said to be possessed by evil spirits. The experience sees you alternating between the surprisingly labyrinthine space of the game, and the increasingly threatening environment of your bedroom, where terrible toys abound. Netflix has reportedly closed its ambitious AAA studio, Team Blue. The studio previously employed big-name developers, including veterans from Halo, Overwatch, and other major franchises. The report was released on Oct. 22 by Game File and claimed the company’s Southern California studio, known internally as “Team Blue,” has closed up shop. It was supposed to be the streaming giant’s ticket into the AAA market, with the studio developing an ambitious multi-platform title that would decouple Netflix from the mobile video game industry. It has poured significant efforts into achieving this through Team Blue, hiring high-profile veterans such as the former Overwatch executive producer Chacko Sonny and the former Halo creative director Joseph Staten, who even left Xbox to join Netflix as a new creative lead on its AAA endeavor.
