Six Super Mario: Mario Kart themed Lego sets will debut on January 1st, 2025. | Image: Lego After teasing the next expansion of its Super Mario line back in March, today Lego announced the first six Mario Kart sets that will release just after the holidays on January 1st, 2025. Lego’s Mario Kart collection includes new buildable versions of characters like Yoshi, Donkey Kong, and Toad; baby versions of Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach; and several kart designs, from motorcycles to flying pirate ships. There are also green and red shells that can be actually fired from the karts. The Whiteclad Noble is a boss in ****** Myth: Wukong you encounter shortly after the Marsh of the White Mist Keeper’s Shrine in the Bamboo Grove. The boss ****** against this snake-like warrior is divided into two phases: his “human” form and his “true” form. At this early stage of the game, there’s not much scope in your build, and the Whiteclad Noble isn’t especially vulnerable to any particular kind of ******* anyway. The Final Fantasy 16 PC version is coming soon and we know the release date now for certain. Even better, if you're eager to sample the RPG ahead of time, the complete FFXVI demo is now available on Steam. But so far, things aren't going so well for Square Enix's latest. Hyper Light Breaker, the roguelike twist on the hit 2016 action game, has been near the top of my list ever since its incredibly slick reveal trailer in early 2022. Since then, developer Heart Machine has been hard at work to get it out of the door. There’s the $449.99 white discless Xbox Series X, a 2TB “Galaxy ******” special edition Xbox Series X priced at $599.99, and a $349.99 1TB Xbox Series S. All three models will be available in the US on October 15th, with other markets to follow on October 29th. The white coating on the exterior of this new discless Xbox Series X matches the “****** white” found on the Xbox Series S, Microsoft’s smaller $299 console. Xbox Game Pass has finally revealed what subscribers can expect in the second part of August and the line-up includes an RPG that many overlooked in 2023. Despite some stellar titles at the beginning of the month, August has been a relatively slow time for Xbox Game Pass given the lack of standout AAA additions the service is known to provide. This has been a decent Gamescom so far for Diablo 4. We got our first look at AI companions, the Mercenaries, as part of Opening Night Live, and anyone in attendance in Cologne can try the new Vessel of Hatred feature alongside the Spiritborn class. Blizzard wanted to include those of us staying at home, too, so the developer announced a new Mother’s Blessing event that runs alongside Gamescom week. Fans of The Sims 4 lamenting the lack of competitors on the market can now check out the game's biggest competition as InZoi releases a massive new demo. Developed by Krafton, the ambitious life-simulator made waves when it was first unveiled thanks to its stunning visuals and robust gameplay, and while the early-access release may still be a few months away, those who are interested can get a taste of the experience early. 20 years since it was first released, Half-Life 2 ******** one of the best single-player FPS games in history. Even as someone who's comparatively skeptical when it comes to Valve's work, I can't deny sections like Route Kanal and, of course, Ravenholm. But there's one part of HL2 that I think is genuinely weak, and exposes, in a very contained space, most of the shooter's flaws. Nova Prospekt is samey and overlong, and relies far too much on HL2's often unexciting weapons and gunplay. But thanks to Half-Life 2 RTX, which has just gotten a new trailer, even this dour part of Gordon Freeman's adventure looks suddenly way better. Read the rest of the story... Although the game bears similarities to soulslikes and others titles like **** of War, it places a much ******* emphasis on orienting combat around dodging than most of its competitors.
