Amid the reveal of the Nintendo Switch successor, the Switch 2, there has been an outcry from Nintendo fans, young and old, about the poor naming of the console. The studio behind an upcoming dinosaur horror game has said it’s planning to skip a PC release in order to avoid players making sexualized mods. Developers of upcoming PlayStation 5 game Code Violet say they have no plans of releasing a PC version, citing concerns over inappropriate mods. Code Violet is a sort of spiritual successor to Dino Crisis, both being Resident Evil-like survival horror games in which players face off against terrifying, bioengineered dinosaurs.
