  3. The food your character eats in Enshrouded can improve their build by selecting the right recipes and meals with the right stat based on your gameplay style. For that, you must know what recipes offer what buff, and which ingredients you need to make them. A great part of the survival genre is keeping your character from starving and for that, you’ll need to learn how to cook. In Enshrouded, you don’t have to worry about hunger, but eating food can restore Constitution and give temporary buffs and you’ll unlock recipes as you discover ingredients. In the early game, you’ll first have access to the campfire or the fireplace and a selection of recipes you can cook in them. As you progress through the game, you’ll need to have the Farmer NPC unlocked to cook some recipes. View the full article

  6. While there are a variety of useful tools in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, some can be harder to obtain than others, one in particular is the Pickaxe. While the Pickaxe is by no means a vital tool early on in the game, as opposed to flippers or the snorkel, it is still something players should work on getting as soon as possible to avoid running into issues later. Earlier this week, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 finally swung onto PC, allowing gamers who didn’t get to play Insomniac’s latest open-world superhero epic when it launched on the PS5 in late 2023 a chance to take the symbiote-invaded streets of New York City for a spin. 10. Whether or not players have experience with Sid Meier's long line of tactical strategy games, the Civilization 7 team is encouraging everyone to start their journey with the game's tutorial. Every new game in the franchise comes with new features, tactics, and options, and this remains true for Civilization 7, which seeks to shake up the tried and true formula in a number of ways. Due to these changes, Ed Beach, creative director at Firaxis Games, says he wants all players to have as positive of an experience as possible going into Civilization 7, promoting the use of the game's tutorial for both those just starting out as well as for fans who already have years of experience under their belt. 11. Capcom seems to be continuing its hot streak with the MH series after all the recently revealed material for Monster Hunter Wilds. Capcom doesn't seem to be afraid of spoiling the game for its audience either, happy to show all the work it has put into this latest Monster Hunter title, and there looks to be an effort to address complaints about the series thus far. Hitboxes have been improved, hunters can wear armor regardless of gender, and MH Wilds is the best looking game in the franchise, with a lot of new features. View the full article
  12. Dan Houser's influence over the GTA series has been huge, but he's so far shared only a morsel about what he's up to in his post-Rockstar Games life at Absurd Ventures. Houser spun this edgy sounding multimedia company up a few years ago before officially revealing its existence in 2023, promising new IPs and universes with stories told in videogames, animated and live action films, podcasts, books, and pretty much every other medium you can think of. Today, Houser has unveiled the Absurdaverse and provided an early look at the characters that inhabit it. He's also confirmed that details about Absurdaverse live animation projects and an "original story-driven action-comedy adventure game" will arrive soon. Read the rest of the story... 13. The Elden Ring Nightreign network test has concluded its player collection process and will soon start issuing codes to those lucky enough to have passed Bandai Namco’s screening. However, even though the codes don’t exist yet, players are already selling them on online marketplaces for absurd prices. First spotted by Gamespot on Jan. 31, the codes for the Elden Ring Nightreign closed network test have made their way to platforms such as eBay, selling for up to $250 USD apiece, despite the fact that they haven’t even been given out yet. The network test is supposed to go live in mid-February and participants currently only have a confirmation sent by Bandai Namco that they have, in fact, been selected, though the access codes will wait for a while longer. One odd aspect of these “codes” listed on eBay is that many of them have either “international shipping” or “delivery” attached to them, with extra fees to be paid for said services, even though they’re dealing in a digital good, not a physical one. That likely indicates that many of these, if not all, are pure scams. View the full article For verified travel tips and real support, visit: [Hidden Content]
  14. As rumoured, The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 have returned to (official) PC stores. Kindly Uncle EA has taken a break from his busy layoff schedule to rustle up a pair of Legacy collections that include a bunch of DLC. It's the very first time the original Sims has graced a digital retail platform, I believe - it was first released in 2000, back when people used to access the internet using smoke signals and semaphore. Anyway, here's the reveal trailer. Read more View the full article
  15. Half-Life 3 has to be the most famous example in PC history of vaporware - a game that gets announced, or that we otherwise suspect is in development, but never actually materializes. Valve's new shooter might still happen, maybe, one day, but in the meantime, another thought-dead FPS has suddenly sprung back to life. Originally developed by the team behind the underrated Rising Storm, it combines the realism of Escape From Tarkov and Battlefield with a gentler learning curve and more accessible multiplayer. It was first announced back in 2019, then went silent until a brief mention last year. Now, '83 is fully back on its feet. Read the rest of the story... 16. Heart of the Machine has captivated my attention. Its initial pitch - awaken as a sentient AI and decide how you're going to influence or conquer the environment, people, and corporations around you - caught my eye when it was first announced. Having now spent several hours in its world, it's one of the most distinctively themed games I've played in a while; a unique blend of tactical RPG, city builder, and 4X strategy that combines elements of Civilization, XCOM, Cities Skylines, and Hitman. Heart of the Machine manages to be at once a sprawling mashup of genres and one of the most remarkably laser-focused games in its vision, and you can play it right now. Read the rest of the story... 17. Hello Kitty Island Adventure will have you crafting up furniture and recipes every day you play. However, tracking down each material proves itself trickier than you’d expect from a cozy game. Where to get all materials in HKIA Materials, materials. Screenshot by DotEsports Materials can, of course, be used for crafting, but you can also use them as easy one-heart gifts. While some items are found across the Island, you’ll sometimes have to gift a character to get what you need. Furthermore, materials are often time-gated. 20. Spider-Man 2 was just released on PC yesterday, and the Steam reviews rolling in are less than favorable. The title was released on PlayStation 5 back in October 2023 and fans seemed to love the web-slinging, action-packed game. Since its recent release on PC, however, the reviews are extremely mixed with the majority leaning more toward negative than positive. View the full article

  22. If you can't wait to get your hands on a new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, then you're very much not alone. In fact, according to retailer Newegg, demand for the new graphics cards has been "overwhelming," with the store's entire RTX 5000 GPU inventory emptied 20 minutes after the launch, and most of it gone after just five minutes. We monitored several retailers at the time of the Nvidia launch, and saw just how quickly the cards disappeared, with even big online stores regularly crashing due to heavy demand. Gamers clearly can't wait to get their hands on the best graphics card in town right now, but you also only need to take a look at Ebay to see that bots and RTX 5090 scalpers are also accounting for a massive chunk of that demand. 23. Never give up on your dreams, gamers. Even if that dream is a remake, remaster, or PC port of a 10-year-old PS4 exclusive that hasn’t seen the light of day since its DLC was released. FromSoftware has made some absolute classic games over the years. The developer has worked on the Armored Core series, then created an entirely new genre with Dark Souls, a game of the year winner with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and then unleashed Elden Ring, which some make the argument for as one of the best games ever made. 25. A minor tweak to Domains could result in a major improvement in Artifact farming in Genshin Impact if developer HoYoverse were to ever implement it. Farming Artifacts is, notoriously, one of the most arduous tasks in the popular action RPG. Obtaining them, per si, is not exactly difficult, but gathering the ideal pieces for character builds can be rough, as the randomness of drops often seems to be playing against players themselves. It is quite too common for players to run a Domain in search of a specific Artifact piece in Genshin Impact and struggle to obtain one of them.
