Updated on February 13, 2025: Reworked the Tier List for Update 2.5 There are a lot of clans in Project Mugetsu that are great when combined with a specific race but there are also some that are generally powerful. I'll be taking a look at all clans and rating their power, flexibility, and whether they're broken or should just be rerolled. Here's my Project Mugetsu clans tier list. Table of contentsBest Clans in Project MugetsuSSS Tier Clan HighlightsS Tier Clan HighlightsA Tier Clan HighlightsB Tier Clan Highlights Best Clans in Project Mugetsu Image by Destructoid I'll be ranking clans in Project Mugetsu from the Meta SSS tier and S-Tier all the way to D and Reroll tiers. Note that most of the competitive community is using Mythics and War Powers at minimum so you should aim for War Powers or higher as soon as possible. Here's what each tier means: SSS Tier: Filled with Meta clans that are either overpowered overall or have broken abilities. Stick with these clans. S Tier: The second most powerful set of clans. Don't reroll these clans unless you have a Robux clan save slot. A Tier: Strong but more specific and dependent on your race to be S-Tier. B Tier: Highly race-specific clans or those that are underpowered compared to the higher ranks. C Tier: Extremely underpowered clans that could use a buff. D Tier: Fine to start out with your first 5 rolls but I would reroll as soon as you can for higher tiers. Reroll Tier: It's worth it to reroll Uncommon clans for at least Rare ones in your first 5 rolls and Common clans don't give any benefits. Most of these are objective ratings but keep in mind that some are subjective and bound to change and personal preference. Let's highlight some of the main clans for each tier in more detail. SSS Tier Clan Highlights NameRarity and Roll ChanceRanking ReasonYhwachTranscendent (0.005%)Probably one if not the strongest clan in the game due to the Almighty skill that just lets you avoid M1 damage 20% of the time. Also, you can just recover from a one shot with a single skill.GojoTranscendent (0.005%)Between the chance to dodge M1s, the massive AOE Domain slow for free comboes, and the Hollow Purple nuke, this might be one of the best offensive clans in the game. The best part is that it works with any race. HaschwalthWar Powers (0.1%)Haschwalth punches way above its rarity and is easly the best War Power for two reasons. First, the Lesser Almighty is incredibly powerful for avoding damage. Second, the Scales of Balance are a broken ability that swaps your HP with your opponent so if they almost one shot you, you pop this and now they're about to be one shot.IkomikidomoeTranscendent (0.005%)Crushing Spiritual Pressure is so good and the eating buffs make this the best Hollow progression clan in the game. S Tier Clan Highlights NameRarity and Roll ChanceRanking ReasonUryuWar Powers (0.1%)There's a lot to like here but the most broken ability is Antithesis that just heals you back to full if you're one shot or take a lot of damage.GinjoWar Powers (0.1%)Just an excellent mix of powerful abilities for both PVP and PVE but it's focused a bit on Fullbringers so if you're not using that it drops off.Zaraki and KurosakiWar Powers (0.1%)Excellent PVP clans that pretty much do a similar thing it's just that Zaraki is focused on its M1 mode for crazy sustained M1 damage and Kurosaki is focused on Mugetsu for that burst damage.UraharaWar Powers (0.1%)One of the best PVE clans because of the potions ability to make them cheaper and you get a lot of Spiritual Pressure for grinding.JoestarWar Powers (0.1%)Just a set of powerful buffs that are great for any race but not broken. The Time Stop isn't as good as you might think because it's easily exploited but that's not what makes Joestar good, it's all about those various buffs that combine into a strong clan.NimaiyaTranscendent (0.005%)While it can slightly compete with other War Powers, Nimaiya is easily the weakest Transcendent and even some War Powers are better but it's still a decently strong general clan for no specific race. A Tier Clan Highlights NameRarity and Roll ChanceRanking ReasonStarrkWar Powers (0.1%)You'll see that a lot of A-Tiers are specifically really powerful and Starrk is the first focusing on using Los Lobos (Guns). Otherwise, there's not much point in playing him.Le VaarWar Powers (0.1%)Powerful if you have Deathdealing similar to Arruruerie's focus on Menoscar.ArruruerieMythic (1%)Incredibly powerful if you're going for Menoscar so focus on that, otherwise it's a much lower tier.Tu OdelschwanckWar Powers (0.1%)Excellent buffs to Sonido and Cero that make it pretty competitive. B Tier Clan Highlights NameRarity and Roll ChanceRanking ReasonCiferMythic (1%)I wanted Cifer to be higher but it's just a decent set of passives with a strong Cero, nothing worthy of A-Tier. Still, it's a pretty great Mythic.GilgaMythic (1%)One of the best Mythic for Hollows.Shihoin and UnohanaLegendary (4%)While these are pretty great Legendaries, almost everyone I see is using War Powers so Mythics and Legendaries fall off quite fast. I would recommend rolling for a WP as soon as you can. That's it for my Project Mugetsu clans tier list. Check out our Project Mugetsu codes for free goodies to get you started. With Civilization 7, Firaxis is trying to cut out a lot of the micromanagement and the noise of the conventional 4X game. For that, the studio deserves credit - given the series' history, and the endless success of Civilization 6, Firaxis could have rested on its laurels and just released a new, ******* version of the same thing. Civ 7 represents a vision. Alongside the likes of Stellaris and Manor Lords, it makes the strategy genre feel more varied than perhaps ever before. But there's a better, more original, and purer 4X game out there. If you haven't tried Solium Infernum before, it's now on ***** for the lowest price in its history. Read the rest of the story... Konami finally confirmed yesterday that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will release on August 28, 2025, with the new teaser trailer also revealing the Snake vs. Monkey minigame is similarly making a comeback. Snake won't take on Pipo Monkeys in all editions of the game, however. While the teaser shown during yesterday's Sony's State of Play 2025 gave fans a glimpse of an Ape Escape monkey in the jungle wilds of Snake Eater on PlayStation 5 and PC, fitting neatly with the PS2 original, Xbox Series X and S players will take on a different threat. Although we've yet to see any in-game footage, Konami's Xbox teaser, below, closes not with Snake vs. Monkey but Snake vs Bomberman. Yes. Really. The original mode unlocked two items for Snake that carried over into the main game: first-view-perspective Monkey Mask and his Banana Camouflage, which made even rotten food edible. Right now it's unclear if Bomberman will give Xbox players the same advantages, or something entirely different. "Metal Gear Solid Delta seems more like a very shiny HD remaster than the elegant remake it could have been," IGN said in our Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater preview, which reflects on Snake's new first-person perspective. "It’s an admittedly beautiful nostalgia trip, but almost faithful to a fault." Be sure to check out IGN's round-up of everything announced at State of Play 2025 for more on what's coming to PlayStation 5 in the years ahead, including details of Housemarque’s Saros and Days Gone Remastered. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is releasing a free demo for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam. The studio announced the demo on X/Twitter, saying it will be available to download at 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern / 3pm ***. The full game will be available February 21 also on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but these platforms will not get the free demo. RGG Studio didn't say explicitly if progress from the demo will carry on to the full Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii but, based on its contents, that doesn't appear to be the case. The demo appears to let players essentially skip forward to certain freeroam and battle areas and therefore doesn't follow the natural story. Players can "freely explore part of the Honolulu and Madlantis locations," neither of which appear to be available at the beginning of the full game. They can also switch between the Mad Dog and Sea Dog fighting styles, fight against "powerful bounty enemies," challenge four ship and deck battles in the Pirates' Coliseum, play with new customization features, and "enjoy side experiences like karaoke with a selection of three songs." Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a spin-off sequel to Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the eighth mainline entry in the Yakuza / Like a Dragon series (or ninth including Yakuza 0). It follows Goro Majima as he wakes up with amnesia and becomes a pirate, exploring the likes of Hawaii along the way. A trailer released at the October Xbox Partner Showcase revealed a proper first look at ship combat akin to Assassin's Creed 4: ****** Flag and the return of the beloved character Taiga Saejima, perhaps teasing more ties to the main series than previously thought. It will also be a decent bit longer than previous Yakuza spin-off Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, with its story taking around 15 to 18 hours to complete. Fans can also dress up Majima as longtime series protagonist Kiryu Kazuma, but only if they sign up for email notifications or a ***** reward system. Ryan Dinsdale is an IGN freelance reporter. He'll talk about The Witcher all day. View the full article

I had Hell Is Us vaguely pegged as an "arty" game, but then I watched the new release date trailer, which begins with Adam Jensen('s voice actor) grizzly-grunting that "when the fury of emotions sparks the wildfire of violence, it dissolves our illusions and exposes the fragile structure of reality". And I realised that, no, this is some glorious nonsense. Maximum ham. High-concept cheeseville. Pseudostravaganza. I mean all these phrases as compliments. Come now - let your illusions dissolve as the fragile structure of your reality is exposed by the wildfire violence of this furious trailer! Read more View the full article

Elden Ring Nightreign is going to be completely different to FromSoftware's RPG opus. The core gameplay is the same, but the team's focus has shifted towards a more online, replayable experience that promises to challenge us in entirely new ways. You can play solo, but co-op is going to be a must if you want to succeed, and strangely enough you can only do this with three players - no more, no less. The first phase of Wuthering Waves version 2.1 features a new five-star Spectro DPS, Phoebe. Since collecting characters is one of the main mechanics of any gacha game, it’s only natural you wonder if she’s worth pulling for. Ex Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick's recent comments on the Grit podcast regarding "fake lawsuits" brought against Activision Blizzard around 2021 are "false", "insulting" to alleged victims, and "unsurprising", a spokesperson for the Communication Workers Of America (CWA) has told RPS. Kotick appeared on venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins podcast earlier this week, alongside former EA CEO and current Kleiner Perkins advisor Bing Gordon. Discussing the above legal cases alongside petitions to remove him as CEO, Kotick spoke of "fake lawsuits against us and Riot Games making allegations about the workplace that weren't true," claiming his former company was "targeted" by the CWA in a bid to increase union membership. Taylor Lautner, perhaps best known for his role as Jacob ****** in the Twilight movies, is set to return to his glory days of werewolves (sadly, no vampires have been confirmed) in the newly announced upcoming Amazon series Taylor Lautner: Vampire Hunter. Let’s face it, while Lautner has gone on to feature in a few movies and TV series since his breakout role as ****** (Grown Ups 2, The Ridiculous 6, Home Team), he is definitely remembered most as part of the will-they-won’t-they love triangle between a werewolf, a vampire, and an infuriatingly moody teenage girl. Image via Summit Entertainment In what seems like an attempt to bring back his now grown-up fans, Variety has revealed that Lautner will be starring in a new series… As himself. Brought to Amazon by Tornante (the studio behind Bojack Horseman, which gives me some hope), Taylor Lautner: Werewolf Hunter will bizarrely follow on from Lautner’s appearance in the Twilight films (in a fourth-wall-breaking kind of way), with Lautner wrapping up filming on Breaking Dawn Part 2 before teaming up with a “real-life” team or werewolf hunters to, I’m assuming, save the world from the lycanthrope threat. There are several levels of irony here, not least of which is the fact that the series will center on Lautner fighting the very creatures that made him famous. There’s also set to be a love story (hopefully with someone more palatable than Bella), and still maintaining his Hollywood career during the day. Image via Summit Entertainment Honestly, the final aspect might be a bit of a stretch. Lautner has had arguably the least significant Hollywood presence of the main Twilight cast since the last movie wrapped, but that’s why the Bojack connection makes me hopeful. Bojack Horseman is a masterpiece of a tragicomedy, very much centered on the storyline of a struggling former star who has lost his way, so fingers crossed Amazon can pull this off.
