  1. A recent chart has revealed the estimated number of Primogems that Genshin Impact players will be able to obtain over the course of Version 5.5. Due to its nature as a gacha game, Genshin Impact players strive to be mindful of their spending. The amount of Primogems available per patch cycle is limited, and knowing the schedule of upcoming Event Banners can make all the difference. While players are sometimes forced to make a difficult choice between two beloved characters, being prepared ahead of time pays off. View the full article

  5. Josef Fares holds court in any conversation, be it with the assembled journalists that have flown in from around the world to play his latest game Split Fiction, or his coterie of EA staff making sure he doesn’t go too far over the line. When Josef Fares speaks, people listen. This is perhaps unsurprising from the developer who shot to fame following a now-legendary rant at The Game Awards. But categorizing Fares as a sweary headline machine would be entirely unfair. After all, he’d return to that same award show to pick up Game of the Year. Read More... View the full article

  7. Fans of Fortnite have taken to social media to express their disappointment with the recent collaboration between the battle royale and the popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen. This isn't the first time Epic Games has featured a crossover with the show, as four major characters from the franchise have already made their way to the island. Fortnite has a long history of collaborating with anime properties like Dragon Ball Super, My Hero Academia, Kaiju No. 8, and others. View the full article
  8. In just 21 days, Mashina, a new indie mixing platforming, strategy, and a supremely cozy stop-motion style, has been fully funded on Kickstarter, raising $23,172 / £18,523 - or £8k / £6.5k more than its target. Created by Talha and Jack Co., the studio's previous game Judero broke the mold last year, presenting a creepy, unsettling alternative to the big RPG releases like Path of Exile and Dragon Age: The Veilguard. From what we've seen so far, Mashina has just as much visual flair and a similarly novel setup. Read the rest of the story... View the full article
  9. Being a DM for DnD is a fantastically creative and fulfilling hobby, but boy, oh boy, can it also be a massive chore. Building a deep, satisfying, and varied campaign for your players is a ton of work, so there's no shame (and often huge benefit) in using quality third party resources to generate settings, NPCs, and quests to fill out your game. Good news, then, that this new Humble Bundle offers a ridiculous 46 books full for just 18 bucks. Read the rest of the story... 12. Getting drunk in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 leads to some buffs and debuffs, but this condition can persist and turn into a hangover you'll want to cure fast. While getting drunk can help delay fatigue, give you slight nourishment, and give you a small Strength bonus, it lowers your overall Charisma and Stamina. You can even become addicted to alcohol, so you should try to cure its negative effects. View the full article
  13. Capcom is no stranger to having iconic IPs in its library of titles, with Monster Hunter Wildsbeing the latest game from the developer's many long-standing franchises. Compared to Street Fighter and Resident Evil, Monster Hunter may seem like the new kid on the block considering that it exploded onto the scene with MH World rather recently, despite being around since 2004. Everyone in the mainstream has at least heard of Street Fighter and Resident Evil, and while Monster Hunter might not be as recognizable to the average person, there is some evidence for Wilds being Capcom's biggest game yet. 15. The Diogo Jota Flashback SBC is now live in EA FC 25, and you can complete the challenge to obtain a special card for your Ultimate Team squad. The 90-rated card has some interesting stats and playsytles, and the SBC seems pretty affordable. Let's take a look at how you can complete the SBC to unlock the new card. EA FC 25 Diogo Jota Flashback SBC tasks The Diogo Jota Flashback SBC has five tasks, and here are the conditions. Task 1 - Portugal Min. 1 Players from: Portugal Min. The card has decent Pace (90) and 5* Weak Foot, but misses out on 5* Skills. The base Shooting (88) isn't good enough, but the combination of Finesse Shot+ and First Touch+ is decent. Had this SBC been cheaper, I would have gladly completed the challenge, as Jota has always been pretty good to use in the game's meta. Unfortunately, a SBC that costs upwards of 400,000 coins worth of fodder should offer a better item at this stage of the game. In contrast, the Fernando Torres Future Stars Icon SBC offers far better returns, although it's more expensive. The post EA FC 25 Diogo Jota Flashback SBC solutions appeared first on Destructoid. 16. There are many different Cooking Stations in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, and each will produce a certain type of food when you put ingredients into it. The Candy Cloud Machine is a machine that unlocks at a fairly late-game stage. As with all Cooking Stations in Island Adventure, the Candy Cloud Machine is locked behind a very lengthy process involving leveling up friendships and unlocking new areas. Here’s how to unlock it and everything you can make once you’ve managed just that. How to unlock the Candy Cloud Machine in Hello Kitty Island Adventure Image by Destructoid The Candy Cloud Machine is located on Cloud Island, which you won't be able to reach until you've progressed a decent way through the main story of Island Adventure. Before you can reach this new area, you’ll need to complete the following rather long list of tasks: Complete all Flower Crystal quests“Power Up the Gate” (Chococat level 1) “Re-Haunt the Spooky Swamp” (Kuromi level 4) “Comic Relief” (Hangyodon level 6) “Bring Back the Swing” (Pekkle level 5) “Enraging Ruins” (Retsuko level 7) Complete all Star Fragment quests“Open the Nature Reserve” (Keroppi level 2) “Reef Revival” (Hello Kitty level 11) “Revive the Oasis” (My Melody level 11) “Fire up the Volcano” (Retsuko level 11) Collect 15 Stamina Apple Slices to make three Stamina Apples Reach level 17 with Hello Kitty and complete the “Baker’s Assistant” quest Complete the “Stargazing” quest It’s a rather daunting list at first glance. The good news is that you’ll end up completing these naturally over time, and you’ll soon find yourself unlocking Cloud Island, where you can begin to level up your friendship with Lala and unlock the Candy Cloud Machine once you reach level 2 with her. How to upgrade the Candy Cloud Machine in Hello Kitty Island Adventure Image by Destructoid As with most other Cooking Stations (except for the Egg Pan), the Candy Cloud Machine is upgraded automatically once you reach a certain level with a specific character. In this case, you’ll need to befriend Kiki and level up your friendship to level 5. Upgrading the Candy Cloud Machine will allow you to use two additional ingredients on top of the base Candy Cloud to make even more recipes. All Candy Cloud recipes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure Image by Destructoid All recipes made at the Candy Cloud Machine use Candy Cloud as their base ingredient. This resource can be obtained by giving gifts to Cinnamoroll, so make sure to stock up on this finite resource rather than giving it to other characters as a gift. 18. Despite the name, many of the best survival games on Steam feel like they quickly push out of the need to 'survive' and into the 'thrive' state. The hostilities of the world might persist, but the likes of Palworld, Valheim, Rust, and Ark all give you tools to overcome and tackle them. The Forever Winter wants to be different. In a new community Q&A, developer Fun Dog Studios explains how it's working to lean away from typical power fantasies in search of an '80s and '90s sci-fi vibe "where survivability is basically zero." 21. Capcom producer Shuhei Matsumoto hopes to bring more of the publisher’s classic fighting games to modern consoles following the upcoming Capcom Fighting Collection 2. From Street Fighter and Darkstalkers to the Marvel Vs. Capcom series, Capcom has been home to some of the most well-regarded 2D fighting franchises of all time.
