  9. Once you touch down on the lands of Dawnshore, you'll never be alone with the help of your allies. 10. Fruits are an essential part of all One Piece-inspired Roblox experiences, including Verse Piece. The best ones will help you progress much quicker and help you grind end-game content and PvP with ease. To learn which fruits are the best, check out our Verse Piece fruit tier list below! Verse Piece Fruits Tier List Image via TierMaker S tier: Light (Dark), Light A tier: Flame (Cyan), Flame B tier: Bomb, Dark, Quake C tier: Invisible Full Verse Piece Fruit List TierNameDescriptionSLight (Dark)Light (Dark) has everything: an enhanced auto attack that deals decent damage, a movement ability that lets you fly between islands, and also gap-close enemies. Its damaging skills, which have a massive AoE, stun enemies, allowing for free DPS. It's just OP.SLightLight shares the same moveset with the Light (Dark) fruit while offering slightly less damage compared to it. It's the go-to mid and late-game damage option because it has a complete package of moves that lets you just spec into Defense and Special while also being very easy to acquire.AFlame (Cyan)Flame (Cyan) is a higher damage (and cooler) version of Flame. It has the highest raw damage of any fruit in Verse Piece and an amazing mobility skill. However, it lacks the CC and the custom M1 that Light and Light (Dark) have, so you'll have to use it with either a combat style or a weapon.AFlameFlame has no built-in auto attack, making it useful only when used with a weapon or a combat style as a backup. It has the same moveset as the Flame (Cyan) fruit, though it offers slightly less damage. Because it's relatively easy to acquire, it's one of the fruits to aim for in the early game.BBombThe Bomb is easily acquirable, and it's probably your best option for grinding in the beginning. Its two damaging skills and an auto attack have large AoE and solid damage, enabling you to concentrate your stat points on Special and Defence only. Its only drawback is a lack of CC.BDarkEven though its damage is on the lower end, Dark's skills have the overall largest AoE of all the fruit in Verse Piece. It has decent CC in the form of a pull that groups enemies. However, it lacks an auto attack move or a movement skill, which makes it good only for grinding mobs in the mid-game.BQuakeQuake is very similar to Dark as it also lacks any movement skills or a custom M1. Its skills have a slightly higher damage output and AoE compared to it, but the only CC option in its kit is a short-duration knock-up with the C skill.CInvisibleThis fruit, plain and simple, makes you invisible. In PvP, it can give you a slight advantage as your invisibility does not break even when attacking or using skills, but compared to all other fruit, it has no use in PvE. How to Get Fruits in Verse Piece Screenshot by Destructoid Obtaining fruits in Verse Piece is an easy task. All you have to do is go to the Merchant Island, which is directly south-west of the Starter Island. There, you will find the Random Fruit NPC behind a pink stall. Interacting with them will cost you 25 crystals, and in return, you will get a random fruit in your inventory. To learn the fruit's moveset, equip it and then use it by clicking M1. Note that doing this will overwrite your previous fruit. To open your inventory and see all the fruits that you have, press "~" (button above Tab) on your keyboard. Screenshot by Destructoid In case you end up with too many fruit in your inventory, you can use Backspace to drop a specific fruit to the ground (others will be able to pick it up). You can also throw away all the unequipped fruits by interacting with the Trash Bag that is next to the yellow stall on the same island. That concludes our Verse Piece fruit tier list. To get more currency for fruit, race, and trait rerolls, redeem the codes from our Verse Piece code list. 15. You ran Destiny 2‘s Sundered Doctrine three times this week and didn’t get Finality’s Auger to drop. And somehow, neither did your clanmates or anyone you know. So you chalk it up to either a devastating streak of bad luck or an odd bug—well, Bungie just confirmed it’s the latter. Finality’s Auger, the Exotic from the newly released Sundered Doctrine dungeon, “isn’t dropping as expected,” Bungie confirmed today. Developers are “actively investigating the root cause and discussing options to address this issue as soon as possible,” the studio added. View the full article

  18. The Fighter class is one of the most traditional specializations in any RPG, focusing on combat-heavy tactics. With this guide, we'll show the best early weapons you can get as a Fighter in Avowed, shining a light on the game's high-damaging tools. What are the best early weapons for the Fighter class in Avowed? With the Fighter class, you'll have advantages using weapons like axes, maces, and two-handed tools, creating unique weapon combinations for your builds. This specialization also thrives with shields, mixing in some defense with its offense. Let's break down all the best starter weapons (in Dawnshore) to improve your Fighter class in Avowed. Seven Strivings Great Axe Screenshot by Destructoid Location: Dawnshore's The Falls (Found in a cave in the Kill Ralga quest) Stats:160 Physical Damage 154 Stun 22 Stamina Cost 6% Critical Hit Chance Determined Step: 15% Move Speed for 10 seconds upon enemy elimination Vicious Strikes: +5% Critical Hit Chance Seven Strivings Great Axe offers the highest Physical Damage out of any early Fighter weapons, which has the potential to unleash one-hit kills. This axe also performs exceptionally well with stuns to throw your enemies off. As a Unique weapon, it'll provide more movement speed and critical hits, differing from the Common-type version of this tool. Wind and Wave Shield Screenshot by Destructoid Location: Captain Henqua’s Spoils Treasure Map location Stats:63 Block Efficiency 20 Stability 220 Parry Efficiency 30 Elemental Resistance Lesser Quickness: +10% Move Speed Lesser Freeze-Proofed: +20% Resistance to Frost Accumulation Given the Fighter class's proficiency in blocks, it's crucial to have a shield that complements this skill. The Wind and Wave stands out as one of the best early shields, excelling in parrying and movement speed. The best part? It's completely free once you unravel the mysteries of its treasure map. The Philosopher's Riddle Two-Handed Sword Screenshot by Destructoid Location: Northwest rock terrain of Castol's Folly Stats:135 Physical Damage 140 Stun 20 Stamina Cost 3% Critical Hit Chance Aggressive Debate: 15% Attack Speed for 10 seconds after unleashing a Full Combo Attack Poison Lash: Hits deal +10% bonus Poison Damage Whether you're on the Precious Light side quest or the hunt for the Totem of Rightful Rulership, you can discover the Philospher's Riddle on the ground of Castol's Folly. You'll feel powerful holding this bad boy, especially when you trigger its Aggressive Debate skill with a sweet combo. Plus, the Philosopher's Riddle inflicts Poison Damage to deal considerable damage to foes over time. Fine Great Hammer Screenshot by Destructoid Location: Gweneth's Store at Paradis Stats:111 Physical Damage 108 Stun 25 Stamina Cost 3% Critical Hit Chance If you ever dreamed of holding Thor's Mjolnir, you can try out this Fine Great Hammer. Unfortunately, it will come for 3,600 gold, but you may be able to get it for free by exploring around Dawnshore. The one at Gweneth's Store offers a pretty high damage and stun rate, making it almost too easy to eliminate foes. Fine Mace Screenshot by Destructoid Location: Gweneth's Store at Paradis Stats:68 Physical Damage 72 Stun 18 Stamina Cost 3% Critical Hit Chance Most weapons on this list come with a slight disadvantage of high Stamina cost, so you may opt for smaller weapons like the Mace. You can purchase the Fine Mace for 3,000 gold at the Paradis shop during the beginning stages. Although it doesn't have as much damage as the Great Swords and Great Hammers, you'll at least have more movement benefits. Drawn in Winter One-Handed Axe Screenshot by Destructoid Location: Watcher's Mirror Pond (Call of the Past side quest) Stats:90 Physical Damage 98 Stun 15 Stamina Cost 6% Critical Hit Chance Rising Chill: Power Attacks deal moderate Frost Accumulation to nearby enemies Freezing Lash: Hits deal +10% bonus Frost Damage The Drawn in Winter makes you feel like a fearsome frosty warrior as you deal Frost Damage with each swing. It'll work well with foes who are vulnerable to this element and deal decent damage to those who are not. The only downside is that you must go up against a bunch of skeletons once you claim the axe at the center of the Watcher's Mirror Pond. 19. Fans of the original Sims and The Sims 2 have been treated by EA to a rerelease of the classic games this month, with the Legacy Collection coming out for all PC users. You’re able to jump into these classic titles and enjoy the first two entries in this legendary series, however, since release players have been experiencing crashes and glitches galore. If you’ve been experiencing any of these issues, EA has come to the rescue with the latest update and patch notes released for the games on February 12, 2025. These include memory fixes to The Sims that led to random crashes and laggy gameplay, and fixing the “D3D” error that would ****** The Sims 2. EA releases the 3 rd patch for The Sims and The Sims 2 Legacy Editions Among the fixes to the bugs causing crashes repeatedly, improved error reporting has been added to both games as well. The Sims got quite a few more fixes than The Sims 2, not only fixing the memory issues but also missing textures such as pool tiles appearing gray and the Work and School icons not appearing on Sim’s portraits. The Sims also will now adopt the aspect ratio of whatever monitor it’s currently being run on. The game previously would not properly scale to different aspect ratios, causing odd visuals and not being able to zoom in properly. The Sims also now shouldn’t have an issue launching on Snapdragon-based computers, which previously could cause the game to be unplayable. There are still other bugs that the team is aware of that they are working to address, notably a significantly larger number of errors on Inter ARC GPUs and NVIDIA T600 GPUs on The Sims. While this patch doesn’t fix this, it does reassure fans that they are looking into these issues and can expect a fix soon. Since release, a fair amount of crashes and bugs have been plaguing players of the Legacy Editions. While this patch doesn’t address every single problem, it’s nice to see that the team at EA is at least trying to keep the games playable instead of simply releasing them and vanishing, which some fans expected them to do. But here's an upcoming survival title that prides itself on "positivity and relaxation" while still looking like a really engrossing experience. Still, one player is making sure everyone takes note of one shape-shifting champion with the help of sharp calculations. In a Reddit post, the League player shared their incredible three-minute full jungle clear route for Nidalee. The route in question took “hours and days of trying, over a thousand attempts, discovering new ways to clear each camp everyday, studying map hitboxes to position myself correctly etc,” the player said. It was clearly difficult to pursue this challenge, but ultimately, they achieved their goal and uploaded the video on YouTube for everyone to learn. View the full article
  23. The idea that Grand Theft Auto 6could cost up to $100 at launch might seem concerning, but it could be too early to worry about that. Although the base price of a new game has indeed gone up recently, hitting $100 would be completely unprecedented. It wouldn’t be too surprising to see multiple versions of GTA 6 available at launch, with at least one of them costing $100 or more, but it’s hard to say if that will be the minimum amount players will have to spend to get the game. 24. The Fighter class in Avowed sticks to the tried and true role-playing elements you're used to from D&D and all the fine video games it's inspired. That is to say, you clobber enemies with strong damage while taking little yourself (or a lot), and make space for your party members in the process. For some, this will be a detriment, but if you're a true melee enjoyer, it's a pretty simple and accessible class to play, too. View the full article
