The No Way Through Evolution is now live in EA FC 25, and you can complete the upgrades to improve a card of your choice. In the recent overview trailer forElden Ring Nightreign, we got a brief look at what to expect in terms of biomes when the game releases later this month. Different biome types were to be expected, as it wouldn't be a true Elden Ring title without some kind of Scarlet Rot-ridden hellscape to make things harder for you than they need to be. With actual footage to confirm that we'll be getting Caelid- and Liurnia-style biomes, it's clear that Nightreign has way more to offer than what we saw during the playtest earlier this year. Well, this is all a bit awkward. Yesterday, you might have seen claims that Chrono Trigger writer Yuji Horii accidentally confirmed that a remake of the beloved JRPG is in the works. It all read a bit suspicious right off the bat, because it initially just came from a Reddit post from someone who attended a panel Horii was speaking at during Napoli Comicon without any video evidence. Erika Harlacher-Stone, the beloved voice actress of Venti in Genshin Impact, has implied that she will be back to play the Anemo Archon in Version 5.6. As a result of the SAG-AFTRA strike, Genshin Impact has struggled to bring back a majority of its English cast since Version 5.1. While players were initially patient with the situation, the recasting of Kinich in Version 5.5 caused controversy. Takanashi, a voice actor based in Tokyo, replaced John Patneaude as Kinich. HoYoverse finally announced the Honkai Star Rail x Fate collaboration release date during the second HSR concert, including details about which characters will join the space game's roster. The Gestral Games in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are a nice reprieve from the intense combat and story, and there are a total of five different games on Gestral Beaches located around the Continent. The Gestral Games are relatively low stakes, but they pose unique challenges of their own that you won't find anywhere else in Clair Obscur. A new game mode for Honkai: Star Rail has leaked, and I cannot wait to try it. The popular turn-based RPG by HoYoverse is currently in the second half of Version 3.2 and gearing up for the release of Version 3.3 later in May. The details about Version 3.3 have yet to be announced by the developer, though most of its information has already been revealed through leaks. For example, the leaks have revealed all the pertinent gameplay details about Hyacine and Cipher in Honkai: Star Rail 3.3, including their kits and their ideal team comp structures. It seems like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is doing quite alright for itself, 'ey? The J'RPG was awarded Rock Paper Shotgun's coveted Bestest Bests badge by our own Nic in his review, and by all accounts it's been received well by most everyone else too. Not that sales matter much in terms of a game's quality, but the fact that it's done well there as well at minimum means the lights are staying on at Sandfall Interactive. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a great game, but it makes me doubtful about the future of Final Fantasy. FF7 Rebirth has met with massive critical and commercial success; despite missing the mark for Square Enix's sales targets, it was undeniably one of the most popular games of 2024, and received near-universal acclaim from players and professional critics alike. Like the original FF7, the Remake trilogy is well on its way to becoming a timeless classic. But I really hope Square Enix never comes out with anything else even remotely like it.
