  1. Recent datamining has all but confirmed that Genshin Impact will debut its new endgame mode in Version 5.7. While players can breeze through most of the open world in Genshin Impact, the real challenge of the game lies in the Spiral Abyss, Imaginarium Theater, and Local Legends. Unlike Local Legends, the Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater rotate throughout the year, and all signs point to a new game mode being added to this rotation in Version 5.7. View the full article

  5. The Fallout franchise has some elements that are just iconic: Power Armor, Super Mutants, Deathclaws, and, of course, ghouls. Although most ghouls were once human, they have been altered by the radiation ever present in their post-apocalyptic world, changing their biology in significant and seemingly permanent ways. With ghouls making appearances in every major Fallout installment, as well as one of the main characters of Amazon Prime’s Fallout series being a pre-war ghoul, knowing what they are and where they came from is important. 7. While there are a ton of powerful and challenging enemies in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, many of the endgame and secret bosses take the cake when it comes to difficulty. If you struggled against the likes of Sirene, Visages, or any of the other main story bosses, those encounters pale in comparison to some of the Act 3 side bosses that you'll face if you travel into the far reaches of the Continent. Luckily, even the toughest enemies can be overcome if you put all the different weapons, Pictos, and Luminas to good use. 12. So far, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is pretty much everything I could have asked for from Bethesda, offering an incredibly faithful experience that manages to surpass the original game. On top of looking even more gorgeous than The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, the Oblivion Remaster has plenty of new quality of life features to make your time in Cyrodiil even more enjoyable. The only downside to Bethesda's close adherence to the original is that Oblivion Remastered has many of the same problems as the original game from 2006. View the full article

Ico was a revolutionary concept that pushed the boundaries of what was possible with the available technology at the time. It's also the spiritual predecessor to The Guardian & Shadow of the Colossus, all of which are the brainchildren of legendary director Fumito Ueda of GenDesign studios. View the full article
  15. A recent leak from Honkai: Star Rail is showing off the gacha animations for the game's trio of new characters in the Version 2.0 update. The next patch for the HoYoverse urban action RPG is set to be one of the game's biggest updates yet, with lots of new content on the way. 17. Baldur's Gate 3 still stands as one of the best RPG experiences available, with a considerable player count to this day that shows little sign of slowing down anytime soon. Close to two years after its release, I'm still discovering new content and secrets that I completely missed in previous campaigns, with modded content adding even more possibilities to the mix. Even if the next official Baldur's Gate project doesn't reach the same heights without Larian Studios being involved, I'm confident that the legacy of Baldur's Gate 3 isn't going away anytime soon. 19. Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has plenty of moments in the form of missables that can get easily overlooked as you progress through the main story. These moments can be specific interactions with characters that will allow you to know more about the game's lore. Alternatively, there can be certain items or skills that will remain locked permanently. Hence, it becomes important to know about all of them lest you miss one or more during your playthrough. All Prolog missables in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 The Prologue has plenty of potential missables if you're not careful enough. The list includes outfits, rewards, and even an extra dialog. All missablesHow to getCrimson UniformTalk with Richard (wears a red suit at the Flower Market). He will provide you with a uniform for his son. You'll have to then find Jules at the Expedition Festival. He can be found under a large lamppost at the docks. You'll have to talk with him before Emma's speech.RecoatYou'll find Nicholas near a horse statue at the Flower Market. Talk with him, participate in a duel, and dodge Sophie's attacks six times in a row. The Recoat allows you to respec attributes and skill points. Chroma CatalystThere will be a trash can close to where Nicholas is located. Interact with it a few times before the Trash-can Man starts talking, and he will reward you with a Chroma Catalyst.Colour of LuminaGo past the Flower Market, and you'll come across a slightly tilted statue. Talk with Eloise, who will ask you to destroy the Punching Ball with one hint to win the Colour of LuminaExtra DialogueJust speak with everyone present in the crowd while walking with Sophie. MimeReach the harbor, but go to the stage where children are performing. Head east, and you'll find the first Mime. You can choose to fight it if you want. Festival Tokens and RewardsThere are three booths located at the Festival Expedition, and you can get rewards from there by exchanging your Festival Tokens. Other missables in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 The Prologue isn't the only place where you can experience missables. The list includes outfits and an entire quest (which is pretty cool actually) and a trophy as well. All missablesHow to getKaratom's QuestOnce you reach Gestral Village in Act 1, talk with Karatom to start the quest. Go to Esquie's Nest, and pick up the Blue Mushroom (there's a Mime in this area. You can find the mushroom near it). Go back to Karatom and defeat his own Sakapatate. This will reward you with a Pure Outfit for Gustave.Gustave's HomageYou can obtain this skill by writing a certain number of times in Gustave's Journal at the camp. This can only be done till you've completed Act 2, so make sure to keep this in mind. Clea's OutfitOnce you defeat Clea in the Flying Manor, go to the Young Boy NPC. You'll get the Clea Outfit for only one character between Maelle, Lune, and Sciel. A Peculiar EncounterThis trophy is tied to the Mime you encounter in the Prolog. If you miss that Mime, you won't be able to get this trophy (since the condition is to defeat all of them). The post All missables in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 appeared first on Destructoid. 21. Stardew Valleydeveloper ConcernedApe revealed his thoughts on his ongoing project, Haunted Chocolatier, and I'm starting to believe that he'll be able to one-up his massive farming sim success. While Haunted Chocolatier was announced years ago, Stardew Valley has received multiple major updates since, so it hasn't been the sole focus of development in that time. The upcoming title looks like it will share some similarities, but aside from the switch from farming to chocolate-making, Haunted Chocolatier is also leaning into a more spectral atmosphere.
