Iron Lung, a cinematic adaptation of 2022's bloodiest indie horror darling, finally has an official release date. Looks like 2026's off to a bloody good start. The film, helmed by YouTuber Mark "Markiplier" Fischbach, has been in production for nearly three years. Thanks to an utterly unsettling final trailer and an accompanying website, we now know when and where Iron Lung will take the plunge into theaters. The confirmation came at the end of the film's most recent trailer, which dropped on Markiplier's YouTube channel yesterday. To be safe, we're assuming that the film will be available at midnight in select theaters. The official Iron Lung website, released on the same day the final trailer dropped, hosts a complete list of all the theaters showing the movie. On top of that, the website also has direct links to each theater's website. While none of the theaters listed have Iron Lung tickets available for preorder at the time of writing, that's probably going to change once the new year rolls in. Most movie theaters let you preorder movie tickets about four weeks out from the film's release, so you should be able to secure a seat at your nearest Iron Lung screening at the start of January. ARC Raiders, being a live-service game, is going to be continually updated and expanded with new content, including additional maps, biomes, weather conditions, guns, and so on. We've recently received the North Line update that brought us a new level, Stella Montis, and are about to get the Expeditions as well. But one thing on the roadmap remains in the air: the winter-themed Cold Snap update. So, here's everything you need to know. ARC Raiders winter update - potential release date, details, and more Cold Snap is going to be stacked. Image via Embark Studios While there has not been an official release date for Cold Snap yet, the ARC Raiders 2025 roadmap does shed light on a potential launch window. As shown in the roadmap, Cold Snap is scheduled to release sometime in December, coming alongside various other new gameplay mechanics. The most notable one is the Expedition, which lets players prestige and reset their progress in exchange for various rewards. Since Expeditions have been delayed to Dec. 17, it's safe to say that Cold Snap will come out by Dec. 22, which is when the Departure Window for Expeditions closes. Embark Studios is yet to clarify what Cold Snap is going to contain, but the roadmap does say the Snowfall weather condition is going to be part of it. Being winter-themed, we can expect more such elements that'll hopefully significantly alter how maps are played when covered in several inches of snow and ice. Of course, new quests are coming, too, alongside the Flickering Flames event that's probably going to be a community-wide effort, much like the North Line one was. Details are still scarce, so we will update this article once more information becomes available. Night Swarm might be a singleplayer-only experience, but you don't have to play alone. Instead, there are various companions to use in your fight against the unlimited hordes of enemies. You can raise and use a single companion on every run. Once chosen, those companions will be present on every stage (unless stated otherwise). Path of Exile 2 is taking another step toward 1.0 with the upcoming 0.4.0 update that adds a new league, Fate of the Vaal, and the new Druid class. However, despite GGG's best efforts, the game's "full" release might still cut some corners and launch without all of its 12 classes. GGG director Jonathan Rogers recently briefed the media on this upcoming update as well as prospects of Path of Exile 2's 1.0 launch that'd see the game finally become free-to-play and exit its early access scheme that currently costs $30 to enter. He said that GGG is on course to launch the game in 2026, despite initially assuming it'd take some six months or so to develop from 0.1 to 1.0, and that thus far nothing has happened to indicate further pushback into 2027. However, as per PCGamesN, 1.0 doesn't seem to mean what we think it means. The Druid is one of several classes planned to release during the early access *******. Image via GGG When asked about the classes, of which 12 are planned for the game, Rogers said he's becoming more and more concerned that not all of them will be done in time for 1.0. "I would ideally want to have all of the classes out, but I sort of suspect at this point that it's likely we won't have all of them," he said. He further added that polishing the gameplay and introducing other highly-anticipated weapons and mechanics, like the swords, is more of a priority than putting every class out. He did clarify that all classes that do end up in 1.0 will have each of their ascendancies, so that's something at least. Path of Exile 2 is already taking quite a long time to reach its final stages and version 1.0, which could be impacted by GGG's desire to maintain and develop both PoE games at the same time. They recently launched a proper new league for the original Path of Exile, which saw the game skyrocket past its sequel by a wide margin. Whatever the case, Last of the Druids, i.e., patch 0.4.0, launches on Dec. 11, with a free weekend for those who want to see if the game's current state is broad enough for them to jump in. Team Fortress 2 stands alongside Half-Life and Portal as one of the foundational pillars of Steam itself. But perhaps it could have looked rather different. Formerly known as Team Fortress 2 Classic, a mod built by community team Eminoma is attempting to capture Valve's iconic FPS game based on "its original inspirations and tone," complete with weapons inspired by the game's pre-release oferrings and some all-new features of its own.
