  1. Broken Arrow has struggled to find a balancing sweet spot since its launch in June, and new stats show that, despite the dev's best efforts, one side continues to win out. Striking that fine line between factions is a challenge faced by even the best RTS games, and Steel Balalaika's realistic, modern-military effort is no different. In an attempt to alleviate community concerns, it's been tracking metrics behind the scenes and has now published some more detailed win rates, but the deck still seems to be slightly in one team's favor. 2. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 needs no introduction at this point, and developer Sandfall Interactive's journey through its creation has been tremendously well-documented. The stunning, surrealist adventure will live long in the memory for its gloriously executed narrative (and my clumsily executed parries). But looking back after five million copies sold, is there anything the team would have liked to have done differently? We spoke with CEO and creative director Guillaume Broche and COO Francois Meurisse to find out. Read the rest of the story... Gears of War: Reloaded for $34.99 Gears of War: Reloaded was released this August, marking the series' debut on PlayStation consoles. This release brings support for 4K and 60FPS, which are essential for a premium experience. In our review update, we wrote, "I can say that the glowing review of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and its few faults still stand true with Reloaded. The story begins by throwing you into the thick of a losing war. Things go from ***** to shittier for Marcus Fenix and crew as they try to accomplish one task that spirals out of control, and while that may not be fun for them, it sure is exciting to play, especially with the technical updates." Final Fantasy Physical Switch Pre-Orders Square Enix announced this week that Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII Remastered are heading to Nintendo Switch in the form of a physical pack. While this collection was available outside of North America, this is the first time it sees an official release in the United States. A separate Final Fantasy IX physical release was also announced, following the same pattern. Both physicals are set to drop on December 9, so get your pre-orders in now. 4. Battlefield 6 offers you plenty of freedom to construct your loadout, but you should always opt for the most meta choices. Going for the meta has some obvious advantages, since you'll have a competitive edge over your opponents. Your choice of class is essential, and so is the setup that you run in the battle. This guide will help you understand a perfect build for every class in Battlefield 6. Best loadouts to use in Battlefield 6AssaultCategoryChoicePrimaryNVO-228E Assault RifleSiidearmM45A1Gadget OneM87A1Gadget TwoHigh Explosive LauncherThroweableFrag GrenadeField SpecAdrenaline Injector Screenshot by Destructoid The Assault class offers you the highest scope for experimentation due to how the abilities work. However, NVO-228E is the best assault rifle in Battlefield 6. It takes a fair time to unlock but offers great damage, reload speed, and more. The only limitation is the range, but that can be managed quite easily. With Assault, you can carry another primary as a gadget, and my choice is the M87A1. This shotgun is unlocked by default. I see no reason to change it. For the Training Path, you should go with Frontliner. The Frontliner spec can heal faster and better, and works well with the Support class. Don't forget to equip the High Explosive Launcher, which allows you to sweep objective areas and open up new paths to destruction. Very little can go wrong with the Assault class if you opt for the build above. SupportCategoryChoicePrimary weaponKTS100 Mk8Secondary weaponP18Gadget 1DefibrilatorGadget 2Grenade Intercept SystemThrowableSmoke GrenadeField SpecializationCombat Medic Screenshot by Destructoid The Combat Medic spec in Battlefield 6 is one of the best options for every game mode, and you can master it quite easily. Unlike other specs, your objective is clear: stay alive and close to your allies to save them. Use the Defib gadget to revive your allies when they're down instantly. The KTS100 Mk8 is the best LMG in the current meta, and it offers low recoil with high ammo capacity. You can use it to suppress enemies from a distance and lay down cover fire for your allies. Use the Smoke Grenade to hide your teammates on the map, while the Grenade Intercept System makes it easier for your squad to survive. While your primary task is to heal, always use the Defib since it can insta-revive. If a downed ally is in the open, drag them to a hidden spot. ReconCategoryChoicePrimary M2010 ESRSidearmM45A1Gadget OneC4 ExplosivesGadget TwoAP MineThrowableFrag Grenade or Proximity DetectorTraining PathSniper The Recon is the only class in Battlefield 6 that comes with the best weapon from the get-go. The M210 ESR is accurate, can one-shot enemies with a headshot, has great range, and you can customize it further as you unlock different attachments. It's the most stable rifle, and you can get the most out of it with the Sniper spec. For gadgets, you'll want to have C4. Plant it strategically, and it can take out enemy vehicles without the need for an Engineer class. You can also use it as a defense to protect yourself from enemies who might close in on your position. You can do the same with an AP mine, and the Proximity Detector will further help you by marking enemies who are close to you. EngineerCategoryChoicePrimary PW5A3 (MP5)SidearmM45A1Gadget OneMAS 148 or RPG-7V2Gadget TwoAV Mine ThrowableFrag Grenade Training PathAnti-Armor Screenshot via EA The Engineer becomes a must-pick if you're not playing CQB, and the Anti-Armor choice is clear. It provides you with multiple abilities to take down opposition vehicles. You have more effective damage against them, along with additional ammo. For your primary, the PW5A3 is your best bet. There are other good choices, but you'll always be close to the enemy. The PW5A3 suffers from poor recoil, so that's one area you'll have to improve. For your secondary, opt for the RPG-7V2 if there are plenty of tanks to take down. Otherwise, the MAS 148 is a better choice in larger maps where there are choppers. Make sure to use AV Mine and replace AV Grenades with Frag options. This provides better synergy with the other items in your loadout, as far as taking down enemy vehicles is concerned. The Anti-Armor path provides you with buffs that accelerate your potential to take down the vehicles anyway, and all you have to do is use the above build to aid your efforts. Like our content? Battlefield 6 serves as the first new entry in the franchise since 2021's Battlefield 2042 and has already peaked at more than 700,000 players on Steam. Her playstyles and stats fit well for the LM and LB positions, especially if you have a taller striker in your team. My second favorite choice is Guti. His card has great stats and playstyles, and he can also fit well into the CAM position. Incisive Pass+ is a fantastic choice when it comes to meta playstyles. I won't bother taking Papin from this SBC, as there are better strikers to pick from the market if you choose to complete using coins. Like our content? 13. Games can be a great way to learn real-life skills. Minecraft is often held up as a fantastic tool for encouraging creativity, and Stardew Valley teaches good habits for time management. The Farmer Was Replaced is one of the cleverest examples of this I've experienced in a while. It takes the joy of automating a farm and watching it all play out in true Factorio fashion, and turns it into a way to learn basic coding. If you're a budding programmer or, like me, haven't attempted it in years and fancy going back for another shot, developer Timon Herzog's creation has just hit 1.0 after two years in early access, and it'll cost you less than $10.
