The Straight Record quest in ARC Raiders makes you roam around Dam Battlegrounds in search of three different switches. While the format of the Straight Record quest is simple, the exact locations can be slightly confusing. This guide will help you find them all quite easily and complete the quest to earn the rewards. Locate the old EMP DeviceDisable three Power SwitchesOld EMP Device location The EMP device is located in the northern part of the Dam Battlegrounds map. The device is located near the Hydroponic Dome complex. Once you find the device, interact with it, and the quest will automatically update. Your next task is to disable the power switches spread all over the map. The region near the Dome can have plenty of ARC enemies, so be on your toes. I will recommend going in with a free loadout to reduce the risk. This location also has vital resources like Mushrooms, which are required for upgrading Scrappy. Screenshot and remix by Destructoid Power Switch locations The first switch is located on a hill to the left of the EMP device. I have marked the location of all three switches on the screenshot above (marked as 1, 2, and 3) to help you find them easily. Get close to the switch to interact with it. To find the second switch, go back to the EMP device and go left. You'll find a generator. Get on top of it, and jump to get on the second floor of a broken building. Move forward, jump again, and you'll find the second switch. Drop down, and keep moving forward. You'll come across a pole and a wire. Follow the wire, and it will lead you to the third switch. Turn it off, and return to the EMP device to finish the Straight Record quest. The location has drone ARCs that you should first destroy; otherwise, you could end up dead while trying to complete the quest. The What We Left Behind quest in ARC Raiders takes you a fair bit of time to access, but it's pretty easy to complete as long as you know what to do. The quest has multiple tasks spread across different maps, so you'll need to have access to all of them. The gist is to find rare loot in all the marked locations, and this guide will help you with the correct locations. ARC Raiders What We Left Behind quest walkthrough The What We Left Behind quest requires you to look for rare loot in the following locations: South Swamp OutpostRaider CampBilguun's HideoutSouth Swamp Outpost Screenshot and Remix by Destructoid Our first location is on the Dam Battlegrounds map in the swamp area towards the south of the map. I have marked the location for your convenience. This location has plenty of ARC enemies, so you'll need to take care of them before jumping in to get your loot. Raider Camp Screenshot and Remix by Destructoid The second task involves finding two containers in the Raider Camp section of the map. Travel to the Buried City map first, and then look for the Parking Garage in the New District. The spot can be found north of the Space Travel building, and take the zipline to go down. Loot any two containers to retrieve the items you find in them. Like the previous location, there will be plenty of enemies waiting for you (including possible human opponents). Bilguun's Hideout Screenshot and Remix by Destructoid Our final location is situated right next to the Container Storage area in Spaceport. You'll have to loot any high-tier item to complete the task. However, this part of the quest was bugged for me. The high-tier loot failed to register when I added the item to the inventory. If the same happens to you, the only option is to extract and revisit the area. Attempting it once again fixed the quest and completed it. ARC Raiders items are plentiful. And I mean plentiful. There are so many of them, in fact, that keeping track of them all is nigh impossible, making the search for each individual one quite the dubious task. One item, required for both quests and some awesome craftable items, is the Great Mullein plant. Ominous at first and with no clear purpose, this item is very important and more than useful, allowing you to make great medicinal utilities to help you in your trips topside. Here is where you can find and obtain Great Mullein. Where and how to find Great Mullein in ARC Raiders Great Mullein is a lootable plant that grows in various locations across the four maps currently available in ARC Raiders. It's relatively uncommon, meaning not too many of it spawn at once, though you can get plenty during each individual run. The best place to find Great Mullein in ARC Raiders would be the Dam Battlegrounds map, specifically two locations within it: the Red Lakes under the Testing Annex or the swamp biome around the Hydroponic Dome Complex. Every time you walk into these areas, it is almost guaranteed that you will find some Great Mullein plants waiting to be looted. Additionally, you can find Moss and other herbal items that could be useful to pick on the side. The marked zone tends to contain a good amount of Great Mullein almost every round. Screenshot by Destructoid You can also check out any location with the Nature tag, as most plants can spawn within them. Great Mullein can also occasionally be purchased from Celeste. The item can further be broken down into Assorted Seeds, which is the currency needed to purchase items from Celeste. You can also craft Herbal healing items, Antiseptics, or turn the plants in for the Doctor's Orders quest (also requires Antiseptics, so Great Mulleins can do a 2-in-1 for you). So, if you are experiencing errors like "ARC Raiders online services are currently unavailable," here's how you can make sure it isn't just your connection messing up. ARC Raiders server status - Online services are currently unavailable error, explained Multiplayer games like ARC Raiders tend to get connection problems now and again. Image via Embark Studios Currently, there is no official way to check the status of ARC Raiders' servers. Developer Embark Studios maintains a high level of communication with players, utilizing official channels like X and Discord to signal to players if something is wrong on the back end. However, you can utilize tools like Technobezz's dedicated ARC Raiders downdetector-esque status checker to see if players are reporting issues or outages. At the moment, some players are experiencing the "Online services are currently unavailable" error when trying to log into the game, which could be an indication of problems on the game's side. To ensure it isn't your own connection messing up, do the following check-ups on your machine: Restart your router: Sometimes routers can ****** and cause various connection issues, affecting not only ARC Raiders but your whole internet. A quick restart can reset stuff back to square one and clear any problems. Reset DNS settings: If you've been tweaking your DNS to ensure faster connections, you may have inadvertently caused them.
