I'll just come out and say it—this is one of the cutest additions Fortnite has ever seen. I mean, being able to summon a puppy to destroy buildings and eliminate anything within a 10-meter radius? Sign me up. If you want in on the fun, too, you'll need to get your hands on a Krypto Treat. This Mythic-grade item is the key to summoning Krypto and witnessing the destructive force of the most powerful and intelligent puppy on the planet. Table of contentsWhere to find Krypto Treat in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3How to use Krypto Treat in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3Where to find Krypto Treat in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 You can find Krypto Treats inside chests, on the floor, or as player elimination drops. Since it's a Mythic item, it's much rarer than your standard common or uncommon weapons. Every batch of Krypto Treat you obtain gives you two of these items, giving you two opportunities to test its powers. Screenshot by Destructoid You have a few options for locating this item. You can either run around the map, open as many treasure chests as you can find, and hope you spot this item, or you can eliminate a bunch of players until one drops some treats. Regardless, it's entirely luck-based. How to use Krypto Treat in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 The main purpose of Krypto Treats is to summon Krypto, Superman's dog. To do this, hover over the item and hold your aim sights button to pick the exact location you want to use it. Then, you can use your fire button to launch it, throwing the treat onto the floor and summoning Krypto in its place. As Krypto lands on the ground, he'll blast through any buildings in his way and inflict 100 damage to nearby enemies. This is especially effective in Build Mode, as he can very easily wreck anything other players build to protect themselves. Nonetheless, if you're a Zero Build player, you can still use this to damage structures and fight enemies, as long as you can predict where they'll go next. As a Zero Build player myself, I've definitely found some uses for this in major POIs. If someone's approaching a narrow bridge or about to enter a building, you can toss a treat near the spot and catch them off guard. Even if they dodge it, you can use this to aim easier, as they'll likely run left or right rather than backwards. At the end of the day, you get to see a cute dog, so it's always worth the effort. The last time I spoke to Sonic Team head Takashi Iizuka was at Gamescom, when the studio was preparing to release Sonic X Shadow Generations. In that last conversation, Iizuka discussed how looking back at Sonic’s past – something Sonic X Shadow Generations does in more ways than one – was a good way to ensure success in the future. From what I played of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds at Summer Game Fest this weekend – there’s a full write-up to come later – it feels like the same has happened again, with *****’s arcade racing team looking back to previous entries in the Sonic Racing series to reintroduce the elements players loved most. As it lifts the lid on its new Bond game, 007: First Light, developer IO Interactive wants to be clear that it still isn't done with Hitman: World of Assassination. At Summer Game Fest, we spoke with senior level designer Martin Ansdal, who is primarily working on the stealth game's limited-time Elusive Target missions, about the new LeChiffre event and Hitman's unique path to where it is today. After a tumultuous nine-year stretch that saw IO part ways with publisher Square Enix, briefly work with WB Games for Hitman 2, and then ultimately self-publish for the third entry, Ansdal tells us that there's still much more to come. Lies of P is one of few soulslikes to really prove that it belongs side by side with Fromsoftware. Neowiz's gothic retelling of the story of Pinocchio certainly has some Bloodborne DNA in there, but the game easily steps beyond these comparisons the more you play it. So whether you're in the midst of Elden Ring Nightreign or Dark Souls, a detour to Krat is certainly worth your time. Turns out a lot of other players think so, too, as with the new Overture DLC and a free update hitting the game, Lies of P is suddenly the most popular it's ever been on Steam. The rats have escaped, and one of them is clutching a fifteen second teaser trailer for a new Plague Tale game from Focus. I've been playing through all the Grand Theft Auto titles again recently, and even when I was younger, I always wanted an answer to one aspect that confused me. This mystery started in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and has continued into all future titles. Whoever said there's dignity in defeat has never played Madame Cyclone's brutal side-scrolling shooter, Omut. While there's maybe some dignity in racking up five or six deaths to a punishing boss, perishing 300 times in 45 minutes to Omut's first big bad stripped me of every ounce of self-respect I had. And yet, I kept coming back for more, every time edging slightly closer to victory and falling short before resurrecting immediately for just "one more try." While this is partly down to pride, it's also because Omut's surreal, pixelated world is so downright bizarre and intoxicating that I need to see more. The fact that you have to seriously work for it makes it all the more tantalizing. Read the rest of the story...
