We recently learned that long-running survival game ***** was finally set to leave Early Access, seven years after it first launched in Steam's preview program. It's not unusual for games in this genre to spend a long time being iterated upon in this way, but *****'s lengthy creation process has meant we've been waiting quite a while to see how it's full version would pan out. Now, with its 1.0 launch, ***** has rocketed up Steam's player charts, enjoying a level of popularity that could see it standing next to genre classics like Rust, DayZ, Subnautica, and The Forest if its creators are able to make good on its initial success. Your dark counterpart The Forgotten is an essential character for you to meet up with regularly around the village in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Unfortunately, they're a notoriously tricky villager to track down. Finding The Forgotten is a fairly tough task, but you do need to know where to look for them, which means it's one you need to tackle. Here's how to find The Forgotten in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Screenshot by Destructoid Once you complete the A Forgotten Name quest and unlock The Forgotten, they can be found anywhere in the valley. The tricky part is that they also seem to sometimes simply vanish from existence. It's unclear whether this is a bug or intentional, but they are a villager who can't always be found and chatted with. This can be a bit frustrating if you're trying to chat, give gifts to, or hang out with them, but there's no way to combat this issue. All you can do to try and find them is look for the dark crown icon on your map. They can teleport around the valley as they rise out of the shadows, but they generally walk from one location to the next once they've spawned in. Does The Forgotten have a house in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Screenshot by Destructoid Although you might see the house icon on The Forgotten's map icon, they don't technically have a house. You can sometimes find them inside The Dark Castle, which you can access through the portal by the Plaza well, so this seems to kind of be their home, but they've never appeared there when it says they're home. Does The Forgotten have friendship quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley? The Forgotten doesn't seem to have any friendship quests so far, but they do have 10 levels of rewards. Their level 10 reward has the friendship quest icon on it, but no locked quests are listed on the quest page or appear when you chat with them, so it doesn't seem like they actually have any tasks for you to work through. You can still hang out with them, assign them a role, share presents with them, and have daily discussions. If any new quests become available for The Forgotten or if any of the possible bugs related to finding them are fixed, we'll update all relevant details here.
