  1. Baseus recently released a new line of Enercore wall chargers that are designed to be the ultimate travel friendly accessory while providing more than enough power out for all of your portable electronics. Currently the 67W model is on ***** for just $39.99 and the 45W model is $29.99. The most unique feature of this charger is the built-in retractable USB-C cable, which saves you from bringing along yet another travel accessory. Baseus Enercore Wall Chargers with Built-In Cable The Baseus Enercore wall charger features a handy 32-inch USB Type-C cable that retracts neatly inside the unit when it isn't being used. The plug sits in a recessed nook so that it won't get snagged. The prong is also foldable to prevent premature breakage. There are two additional USB Type-C ports for charging multiple devices simultaneously. The 45W output is enough to fast charge a Nintendo Switch (or Switch 2) or Steam Deck. It can also fast charge an iPhone 16, which maxes out at 30W. The 65W output can fast charge the Asus ROG Ally, The newer Legion Go and ROG Ally X support up to 100W of charging, so the 67W model would be the better choice. Extend your Nintendo Switch 2 playtime The Nintendo Switch 2 is now available and the Baseus Encore 45W model would make a suitable second wall charger for your new console. The official adapter shipped with the Switch 2 has a 60W maximum charging output, so the Baseus model is slightly more capable. [/url] Looking for a power bank for extended battery life? 17. Peak, arguably the most viral indie game of 2025, is now available for players, and it costs less than $8, in what I consider a worthwhile investment, especially if you have friends to play it with. This year has been great for viral party games. Aside from Peak, one of the best examples of this is the highly acclaimed horror title REPO. In it, you have to cooperatively explore creepy dungeons alongside allies and loot the locations to reach the specific quotas. Afterwards, your goal is to escape alive and return to the shop, where you can buy upgrades. View the full article
  18. It's been ages since I've dove deep into a 3D platformer. I grew up with several over the years, leaving me excited every time a new one launches. With Ruffy and the Riverside having a peculiar mix of hand-drawn 2D characters and 3D environments, it intrigued me from the get-go. I was also a little scared, admittedly. For every incredible platformer I've played, I've tried just as many that fell flat or aggravated me beyond belief, leaving me apprehensive about what was to come here. Fortunately, while it wasn't quite a perfect experience, Ruffy and the Riverside was a joyful blast to the past that left me feeling satisfied, albeit bored at times. Screenshot by Destructoid The highlight of Ruffy and the Riverside is Ruffy's swap ability, allowing you to switch textures around to solve puzzles and progress the story. One moment, you might be turning a waterfall into vines you can climb. A minute later, you might be transforming an entire ocean into lava. With enough creativity, you can make this chaotic and hilarious. For the most part, though, it's fairly tame. The puzzles you encounter throughout Ruffy and the Riverside are also enjoyable, ranging from simplistic and straightforward to complex enough to stump even the most experienced puzzle solvers. You have to think (and swap) outside of the box for many of them. Sometimes, you'll have to take this literally by traversing a 2D box that requires jumping back into the 3D landscape for more swapping. It's a lot to take in, but Zockrates Laboratories manages to pull it off well. Screenshot by Destructoid Along the way, you'll encounter various side quests and collectibles to pass the time, turning an otherwise short experience into a full-on collectathon. Although you can skip this entirely if you wish, those who thrive on traveling every nook and cranny of a world to find all of its secrets will love this. All of this is tied together by an adorable, hand-drawn art style and an equally cutesy soundtrack that makes you feel like you're back in the '90s. Ruffy himself dances around the map throughout your travels, adding another layer to this lighthearted, carefree tale. Screenshot by Destructoid At least, that's how it appears on the surface. In reality, you're quickly introduced to potential world-ending doom, with our titular character being the "Chosen One" to save the day. Although this sounds like an exciting catalyst for an adventure, it comes off more as a generic plot device we've seen time and time again. I felt the urge to skip certain conversations, especially when characters would reiterate the same points about Ruffy being the only one who's capable of stopping the current situation. Some moments were quite funny, but most felt bland. Combining this with forgettable enemies that you'll just hit once or twice before moving on makes the overall storyline somewhat lackluster, despite the gameplay being very entertaining. Ruffy and the Riverside has the pieces in hand, with an appealing artistic style and unique swapping mechanics paving the way for an in-depth puzzle game series. Although I didn't find its story or enemies particularly interesting, everything else about the title felt refreshing and fun, leaving me feeling hopeful that potential sequels can build upon this blueprint and create something truly captivating. 19. According to a recent leak, Genshin Impact could be introducing a major change to its Archon Quest format, with the main storyline in Nod-Krai lasting for the full nine updates. With Natlan coming to a close in Version 5.8, Genshin Impact is slowly setting the stage for the next chapter of Teyvat. In many ways, Nod-Krai is a major departure from what players have come to expect in Genshin Impact. For the first time, a new region won't be tethered to an Archon or their nation, but will instead serve as a hub of many converging storylines. View the full article
  20. One of the best days of the year is finally here: the Steam Summer ***** has arrived at last. If you're unfamiliar, the Steam Summer ***** is one of the two biggest sales available on the platform annually, with the other occurring around the holiday season in December. You can expect to save big on PC games both new and old, which makes the ***** a perfect time to buy games in bulk. This year's Steam Summer ***** is set to run through July 10. Some of the top-reviewed games of 2025 are included as part of this *****, in addition to newer PC ports from publishers like Square Enix or PlayStation. We've sorted through the ***** and picked out some of the best deals you can find this year. Don't miss your chance to save as much cash as possible on these PC games. Steam Summer ***** - The Best Deals Today One of the best deals I recommend checking out is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for $41.99. With the main story and side content combined, there is easily over 100 hours of content in this RPG. This game just made its way to PC in late January, and it's one of the best RPGs to release in the last five years. If you haven't yet played Final Fantasy VII Remake, you can grab both games together in the Twin Pack for $59.99. Additionally, you can save $10 off The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. While this just released in April by surprise, you can already save 20% off and dive hundreds of hours deep into this iconic Bethesda RPG. Bethesda also has a solid deal on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and now is the best time to jump in and prepare for The Order of Giants DLC. You can also save on three major 2025 indie games: R.E.P.O., Schedule I, and Blue Prince. The latter sits as one of the highest rated games of the year, offering a unique house of puzzles to solve. Schedule 1 puts you in the shoes of a drug dealer, and the game is still one of the most played Steam games of 2025. Finally, R.E.P.O. is a wonderful time with friends that is sure to cause both laughs and headaches. All of these smaller games are generally great to stream to your phone if you want a more mobile experience. If you're looking for deep discounts, I recommend ****** Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and Star Wars Battlefront II. Each of these games is 90% off, and you can pick all three for a grand total of $14. Star Wars Battlefront II is an especially good deal, as there has been a major resurgence in online players as of late. One of the smaller discounts available is for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. While you'll only save $5 during the Steam Summer *****, this is the lowest we've seen this game yet. If you've been on the fence about picking this one up, it's not likely to dip much further until late this year, especially since it is one of the highest-rated games of the year. Amazon Prime Day Arrives at the End of the Steam ***** While the Steam Summer ***** is ongoing right now, Amazon Prime Day is set to kick off on July 8. This year, Amazon has doubled the length on the *****, making it the longest Prime Day to date. Though PC games are not usually a focus of Prime Day, you can expect to have the opportunity to score a few deals on PC hardware, monitors, accessories, and more. If you're looking to either enter the PC market for the first time or upgrade your existing setup, keep your eye on Prime Day. This is also when more of the console games will likely go on *****. Amazon is also currently offering free PC games as part of an early Prime Day promotion. So if you are a Prime member already, it's worth diving into that and picking up some freebies before they're gone.
