The landscapes of Duviri are colored by the golden glow of Kovnik. This beautiful plant sprouts in several places in the Void-infused horizon, which is good news for those looking to farm it. Kovnik is among Duviri's most common resources, used for crafting a slew of items and Warframes related to that destination. Kullervo and Oraxia's parts require some of it, and you might also need to hunt some down if you'd like to add an Incarnon Adapter to a weapon or two. Here's where you can find Kovnik and our favorite spots for farming it in Warframe. How to get Kovnik in Warframe The King's Palace can be a good spot to farm this plant. Screenshot by Destructoid Kovnik is plentiful in Duviri, so it's not hard to find it depending on where you spawn into the zone—especially if you're in the northern half of the map. Looking up close, the leaves have glowing bits, similar to a leopard's spots. Despite all the changing colors in each mood spiral, it's easy to see these plants from above, so searching from them from atop our Kaithe is our method of choice to find them. Don't venture too far below the map's southern hemisphere, though, or you might just lose sight of these plants. Here are some of our favorite spots to pick them. Best Kovnik farm in Warframe This part of the map has plenty of Kovnik up for grabs. Screenshot by Destructoid Though you can get Kovnik fairly easily in Warframe, we've found a few spots that are better to farm. The piece of land between Royalstead Pastures and the Lunaro Court in particular has five nodes within sight of each other as you ride your Kaithe. King's Palace, Northwind Village, Farbreeze Hamlet, Royalstead Pastures, Primrose Village, and their surroundings can all have plenty of Kovnik, which are easy to spot from above your spectral horse. We've had better luck sticking around to the northern part of the map, where you can also find some Silphsela (such as in Upperhaven). Isleweaver content takes place around the King's Palace, so you can also grab some Kovnik there as you're farming for Oraxia in Warframe. You might get a good run with gathering those plants from there, completing a decree, and leaving, though we lean toward farming solo in the full Duviri Experience mode since the scenic route also allows you to grab other resources. All in all, farming Kovnik shouldn't be too difficult considering how much it dominates the Duviri landscape. Regardless of your method of choice, the game saves your progress every time you obtain a new, veiled decree, so complete any objective before leaving to maximize your loot. Silphsela is one of Duviri's most beautiful resources, and it's just as elusive as it is gorgeous. This Sunflower-esque plant only sprouts in a handful of locations, so farming it can be a bit of a pain. Odds are you've encountered this resource, though it's not used too often in Warframe. Normally, it's only required for a few Duviri-adjacent blueprints, but it's always worth harvesting these plants whenever you're in Duviri. Here's where to find Silphsela and our favorite farming spots for it. How to get Silphsela in Warframe Beautiful, but sneaky. Screenshot by Destructoid Silphsela is a bit on the rarer side of Duviri resources, somewhere between Tasoma Extract and Kovnik. The sunflower-like plants are easy to spot from above; they're just not too plentiful. One upside of farming Silphsela, however, is its unique behavior: Silphsela leaves float onto the sky, making the plant easy to spot. You should pick them up on your Kaithe as you fly by, since the leaves also award you with this resource. Silphsela doesn't appear as often, so you must know where to look if you'd like to farm it. We've picked our best spots and tactics to farm Silphsela in Warframe so you can grab these plants more efficiently. Best Silphsela farm in Warframe The petals are a dead giveaway. Screenshot by Destructoid We've found some Silphsela by Primrose Village and its surroundings, plus in Upperhaven and the Royalstead Pastures. They're mostly spread around the left part of the map. You might have to take a few runs depending on how many you need, though, since there aren't so many of these plants around. Whenever you spot a Silphsela plant, look above it to see if leaves are floating above you. Make sure to grab them before moving on to the next destination. If you're also looking to farm Kovnik, it's probably worth stopping at the King's Palace, though the few Silphsela plants are usually accompanied by their common cousin. We recommend chasing these plants in a solo version of the Duviri Experience, since there are fewer variables interfering with your search. Getting a Bountiful Harvest decree early on lets you double up on Duviri resources, including Silphsela. If you find this on your journey, rush to look for any resources you might be after. And if you truly need it, it may be worth shelling out for a Resource Booster. The post Best Silphsela farm in Warframe appeared first on Destructoid. View the full article
Duviri, Warframe's fantasy paradise/nightmare, is home to a wealth of ingredients, but Tasoma Extract is a bit more hidden than the others. This rare resource is only available in certain parts of Duviri, so you might have to look around a bit to find it. Tasoma Extract is used in a series of recipes related to Duviri, including parts for Oraxia and Kullervo, plus certain Incarnon Geneses. Here's where you can find this resource in Warframe. How to get Tasoma Extract in Warframe This is what a regular Tasoma looks like. Screenshot by Destructoid Tasoma Extract is available inside caves in Duviri. It only drops in small amounts, though it appears in any of the region's mood spirals and in Isleweaver (though Rusalka's activity has far less ground to cover). If you're floating around the oneiric landscape, beeline to the nearest cave and look carefully for these plants. Tasoma plants have some eye-like protrusions and tentacle-esque appendages, lending them a slightly creepy look. It may be difficult to spot them in the darkness, so riding your Kaithe with the Smooth Path intrinsic (rank five) marks them on your minimap and makes them easier to find. You need 75 Tasoma Extract to build Oraxia's Systems, which is by no means a negligible amount. The load increases if you'd like to build other Duviri-related items, so here are some tips to farming this resource. Best Tasoma Extract farm in Warframe Isleweaver gave players another reason to farm Tasoma Extract. Image via Digital Extremes To gather large amounts of Tasoma Extract, we recommend diving into the full Duviri experience as a solo player and checking caves all over the map. The full experience gives you a slew of side objectives that may bring useful decrees, and as a solo player, you can take all the time you need. When you're inside a cave, it's usually worth engaging with the Lost Item side objective. You'll be prowling the caves looking for Tasoma, so a free decree isn't bad. If you're lucky, you can obtain the Bountiful Harvest decree, which helps tremendously by doubling your pickups. If you have it, it may be worth also going after other Duviri resources such as Silphsela and Kovnik. In our experience, the cave at Fort Wyrmsoul can house multiple nodes of Tasoma Extract, making it a good stop in your explorations. The game saves your rewards upon earning a decree, so complete any objective after you're done and leave to bring all your plants home. [...] If you're doing Isleweaver content, it's worth grabbing the Tasoma Extracts in the caves whenever you get the chance. It's also possible to farm them in the new Duviri activity, though we haven't compared which method gets you best results. Since you start in the King's Palace, drop down to the cave, grab Tasomas, finish the first objective, and quit. This is a short and direct way to get some of this resource, though it's also considerably less dynamic. The post Best Tasoma Extract farm in Warframe appeared first on Destructoid. Nintendo has just released the latest patch notes for Mario Kart World, and before we dive into why one of the changes is so bad that it might put racers off VS. races altogether, let me quickly summarize what the patch includes. Mario Kart World - Ver. 1.1.2 patch notes General Adjusted courses selected in “Random” when selecting next course in a wireless “VS Race.” Fixed Issues Made readjustments to fix an issue where rate fluctuations were sometimes displayed incorrectly in “Online Play” and “Knockout Tour.”Fixed an issue where you sometimes can’t recover quickly after falling off the course in "Dino Dino Jungle".Fixed an issue where you continually hit the wall near the finish line of “Boo Cinema” when transformed into Bullet Bill. On the surface, it seems like a pretty standard patch notes, until you dig deeper into what "adjusted courses" means. As discovered through a data mine, the random option that many players used in VS. Races to obtain a classic three-lap track has been modified to include intermission tracks, a type of track that many players were trying to avoid by selecting random. Usually, when you go into a VS. Race lobby, you are greeted with three intermission tracks to pick from, where you drive from track to track, which a majority of online players do not like. Random was used as a way to get the classic Mario Kart experience, as you were given a single track where you'd complete a certain number of laps before moving onto the next one. But for some reason, Nintendo has removed the option, and when you pick random now, you will get a chance of getting either a normal racing experience or a different intermission track. And as you can imagine, fans are not pleased with this decision. Most comments from fans are aghast at how Nintendo could make a decision to force players to play the game in a way they do not want, instead of providing different options for players who don't mind the intermission tracks, and those who want a classic Mario Kart experience. Most fans are hopeful that over time, Nintendo will listen to disgruntled fans and add more options, but right now, fans feel like Nintendo is targeting them specifically with this patch to make fans play the game as Nintendo intended, instead of what fans want. The company behind the much-delayed Amico console has released some of its games on Switch and Steam, while insisting the plan is still to release the console eventually. Originally announced in May 2018 by Intellivision, the Amico system – which focuses on cheap, family-friendly games – was originally due to launch in October 2020, but subsequently saw multiple delays. The company even started selling eight of its boxed launch games in October 2021, despite the console not yet having a release date. In November 2023, Intellivision said it no longer had the funds needed to produce the consoles, and so launched Amico Home, a mobile app allowing iOS and Android users to buy games that were originally planned for release on the Amico console. All the P5X codes below have been tested as working at the time of submission. However, codes with unknown expiry dates may stop working at any time. [/url]Active Persona 5: The Phantom X Codes (June 2025) There are currently no active Persona 5: The Phantom X codes. Seeing as the game has just released in the West, it's likely we'll see at least one new code in the coming days. Stay tuned as we'll update this page as soon as new codes are released. Note that there are some active codes for the ******** version of P5X, but these cannot be redeemed in the global version. All Expired P5X Codes There are currently no expired Persona 5: The Phantom X codes as of June 2025. How to Redeem P5X Codes To redeem P5X codes in Persona 5: The Phantom X, follow the steps below: Complete the Prologue: Discover a Secret World. This takes around 15 minutes after starting the game for the first time.Open the main menu.Click on "Exchange Code."Input your code into the box.Click on "Confirm."If your code is valid, you'll obtain your free rewards. Why Isn't My P5X Code Working? If the code you're trying to redeem in Persona 5: The Phantom X isn't working, it's likely because of one of two reasons: The P5X code is expiredThere's a spelling mistake in the codeThe code is region-locked When inputting a P5X code, ensure it's spelled correctly (for example, a zero isn't a capital O, a lowercase L isn't a capital I, etc.) and that there are no spaces before or after the code. If your P5X code still isn't working after checking for typos, it's more than likely expired and can no longer be redeemed in Persona 5: The Phantom X. Sometimes, the developer releases codes that can only be redeemed in specific regions, so if you find a code online that you can't redeem in your game, this could also be why. How to Get More P5X Codes To find more Persona 5: The Phantom X codes, the best way is to join the game's official Discord server. There’s no better time to clear your wishlist than mid-year, when sales come as thick and fast as Mario Kart blue shells. From haunting strategy RPGs to nostalgic space oddities, this idle Thursday's discounts run the full genre gauntlet. I’ve even spotted a few brand-new preorders already getting the price-drop treatment. With no more ado, let’s get amongst it. This Day in Gaming In retro news, I’ve used a Fire Flower to ignite a 17-candle cake for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, that chaotic crossover must-own for Wii. Brawl was a glorious celebration of Nintendo’s legacy, bringing together icons like Mario and Link and absolute dream additions like Sonic and Solid Snake in a frenetic, four-player free-for-all that my mates and I played the absolute nunchucks off. What set Brawl apart was the sheer volume of unlockable content and a Subspace Emissary mode offering a surprisingly deep solo campaign, complete with side-scrolling levels and cinematic cutscenes. It also added layers to the Smash formula: slower physics, floatier jumps, and the divisive but game-changing tripping mechanic. Lastly and for the first time, online play let us clobber friends (and foes) across the globe. Truly a landmark love letter to gaming history that still holds a special place in my collection. When the Resident Evil Requiem trailer premiered earlier this year at the Summer Games, I lost it! I am a massive fan of the franchise, to the extent that I am considering it for my next tattoo. So, naturally, the announcement got me wanting to shoot some zombos. I love the combination of psychological and grotesque body horror of Biohazard, but I feel that Resident Evil Village is the cream of the crop and the one I recommend playing first if you're new to the series or just wanting to catch up. Fortunately, it's 75% off over at Humble right now, making now a good time to add it to your library. Read the rest of the story... Thanks to its unusual concept, stunning visuals, and a recent Steam Next Fest demo that blew players' socks off, it's now zoomed its way up the Steam wishlist charts. Read the rest of the story... Genshin Impact has given players a detailed overview of the Stygian Onslaught, offering tips on how to best approach the new endgame mode in Version 5.7. For the longest time, the endgame in Genshin Impact largely revolved around the Spiral Abyss. One of Baldur's Gate 3's highlights is its memorable cast of characters, especially when it comes to the companions. Its villains are also huge points of interest, and it's obvious that a lot of attention was put into developing them when we have figures like Raphael, who even has his own musical number. Despite this, there's one villain who has more subtle depth and often goes underappreciated. View the full article
