  1. I loved my time with Two Point Museum, which reviewer and PC Gamer features producer Mollie Taylor and I agree may be Two Point Studios' best game yet. I took a break from it to let the updates roll in, so imagine my puzzled delight when I returned to find the latest update for this cozy museum tycoon game is a sizable crossover with horde-pummeling powerhouse Vampire Survivors... 2. As the legal battle between World of Warcraft developer Blizzard and popular private server network Turtle WoW continues, the group responsible for its creation has called on Blizzard to "consider establishing a formal ecosystem for licensing fan-run community servers." Turtle WoW's leadership suggests that adopting official support for such projects would benefit the MMORPG, drawing comparisons to other similar situations with the likes of GTA 5, Fortnite, The Elder Scrolls, and EverQuest. 3. Nespin are the first obtainable race in Absolvement that aren't available in character creation right away but are instead unlocked via a quest. It's a pretty straightforward quest available right away from the main HUB. Here's how to unlock the Nespin Race in Absolvement. Table of contentsAbsolvement Nespin Race Unlock GuideAbsolvement Nespin Race ShowcaseAbsolvement Nespin Race Unlock Guide Video by Destructoid You can unlock the Nespin race in Absolvement by going to the Bat statue in the main HUB area. Follow the video above and go into the cave with the Soul Tree and stick to the right until you reach the bat statue. Then interact and talk to the statue and accept the quest using the first dialogue option. The quest to unlock the Nespin race requires you to get 20 Blood Masses which drop from Blood Mage enemies in the Blood Citadel/Sanguine Citadel aka the Blood Dungeon. Now all you have to do is start up a Dungeon run alone or with friends, get the Blood Dungeon variation and kill the Blood Mages (They have red coat and Blood-themed skills) who drop Blood Masses. Image by Destructoid Repeat this for enough times until you farm 20 Blood Masses and then go back to the Bat statue in the hub area. Turn in the quest with the first dialogue option and you'll unlock the bat-like Nespin race. They now become available as a Race option during character creation in your other slots. Note that it doesn't replace your current race in your current slot. Basically, it means that if you want to play Nespin, you'll have to make a new slot for it. 4. Dungeons and Dragons supports plenty of third-party sourcebooks and settings, and most focus on cool lore or sprawling campaign adventures. Not so for Esper the Bard's Gauntlet Runner setting for Mythic Doom. This is not a setting for slow-paced exploration or deep character introspection. This is a gritty fight for survival, as players must brave dungeons that will most likely end with tossed character sheets. Read the rest of the story... 7. People say it about most years, but 2015 really was an incredible year for video games. With GOTY contenders like The Witcher 3, Bloodborne, and Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, it was hard to go wrong with any of the year's best. 18. The seemingly endless list of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth minigames and side quests is almost immediately brought up every time the game is mentioned, but director Naoki Hamaguchi says he doesn't believe this is a flaw in design. Remake and Rebirth might be two of the best JRPGs around, but the second installment's pacing and tone are oftentimes at odds with its storytelling. Hamaguchi, however, explains that you're simply too busy to enjoy it to its fullest, although he does concede that changes will be made for FF7 Remake part 3. Read the rest of the story... 19. Even in my youth, I always loved the idea of point-and-click adventure games more than I did the reality. I appreciated how they transported me to other worlds, each with its own rules, histories, and interesting characters. However, like many people, I often ran up against the harsh reality of solving bizarre and obtuse puzzles in a time before Internet walkthroughs. I almost never actually finished point-and-click adventure games for that reason—but there is one major exception: I completed Robert Williams’ The Colonel’s Bequest several times. One of the last Sierra adventure games to still use a text parser, The Colonel’s Bequest follows a young woman named Laura Bow as she visits a mansion in the Southern US belonging to her college friend’s grandfather, Colonel Henri Dijon. While she’s there, a dispute breaks out over the colonel’s will, and it becomes clear a ********* is on the loose. Read full article Comments View the full article

  23. Square Enix has posted an official video comparing the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X and PC versions of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade. The video shows around a minute of footage from the opening sequence of the game, which is rendered in-engine.
