The Residential Master key can be beneficial to get you an extra look in ARC Raiders, but you'll need to find the item first. It's a challenging task to get keys that are not part of a quest, as you'll have to depend mainly on your luck. Firstly, you'll have to search in the right spots. This guide will highlight the correct location and where you can use the Residential Master key in Buried City. Table of contentsHow to get the Buried City Residential Master key in ARC RaidersHow to use the Buried City Residential Master key in ARC RaidersHow to get the Buried City Residential Master key in ARC Raiders The Residential Master key can be obtained from the Dam Battlegrounds map. I managed to get one from Ruby Residence, but after several retries. This particular building has a cabinet that spawns random keys. If you're lucky, you could end up finding the Residential Master key from here. Screenshot and Remix by Destructoid Another great spot to look at is the Research and Administration building. You can spawn here, and a container on the second floor is a great place to look for random keys. You could also end up getting keys to other high-tier loot areas like the Confiscation Room and the Village areas in Blue Gate. How to use the Buried City Residential Master key in ARC Raiders Once you have obtained the key, head over to Buried City. The Residential Master key can be used in the Grandiose Apartment in the southern part of the map. I have marked the location to make it easy for you to find the spot. Screenshot and Remix by Destructoid You'll find a broken window on the ground floor to enter the building, and find the room on your left. Use the key to gain access to all the loot available in the room. This area has plenty of ARC enemies, and you should actually try to hide and avoid them as much as possible. I have also encountered a few Raiders at this location, so that's something to keep in mind. The post Buried City Residential Master key location in ARC Raiders appeared first on Destructoid. I'll be rating the best Swords, Abilities, Fruits, Styles and Races in Diverse Piece across both individual tier lists and an overall one. For PVP I recommend Aizen or Cid. I've included how to get them below. For PVE farming the ones are Night Blade but if you don't want to pay Robux the Saber works early/mid game and then you should farm for the S-Tiers. Let's check out the individual ranking reasons for all swords below. S-Tier SwordsS-Tier SwordsWhy S-TierHow to Get Aizen• The best sword in the game for PVP because it has similar AOE and DPS like Cid but it comes with tons of stuns and an F counter which is really strong when mastered • C is massive AOE damage, Z is good poke and X is decent mobility • The cutscene move also deals amazing DPS so overall Aizen is excellent for PVP and quite good for PVE too Best against the following bosses: Sudo SurebrecSosuke Aizen on Karakura Island Inside a house at the center Ingredients needed: Hogyoku is from the Aizen Boss, Gacha and Item Spawns Angel Fish is from Fishing and Mythic Chests Solarite is from Mining Cid• Cid is slightly more geared toward PVE with massive AOE damage but the fast-hitting massive range abilities are great for PVP too • Overall Aizen and Cid are about equal with Cid having more range and AOE while Aizen has the counter Best against the following bosses: Satoru Gojo, Turbo GrannyGo to the Rate UP Gacha on Wano Kuni Pick the Shadow Banner and spin Night Blade• Night Blade can compare with Aizen and Cid in raw damage but the slight issue is that your main damage comes from the X tri-shot where you need to be close to hit all three for max DPS • This is no problem for PVE which is why this is probably the best PVE sword in the game • That said for PVP the moves can be harder to hit so Aizen and Cid are more reliable Best against the following bosses: Satoru Gojo, Turbo GrannyGamePass purchase from the ShopA-Tier SwordsA-Tier SwordsWhy A-TierHow to Get Starrk• If Starrk actually had more range with its M1 and Z ceros it'd be S-Tier • That said the damage here is still good and X gives you a lot of AOE for PVE and PVP • Plus, the C move with the wolves is great for PVP poke and finally your V is a massive damage burst for PVE and PVP if you can hit it after a stunlock • Overall this can beat the S-Tiers if you're good enough but the DPS is just slightly lower Best against the following bosses: Sudo SurebrecCoyote Starrk on Karakura Town island Near The Whisperer spawner Ingredients needed: Hogyoku is from the Aizen Boss, Gacha on Wano Kuni and Item Spawns Solarite is from Mining Ace• Ace is an excellent PVE farming Sword • That said for PVP, the Z can be dodged with practice and X has low range so C is your only PVP move • I would use Ace mainly for PVE farming since there you don't have to worry a bout hitting the moves Best against the following bosses: Cid, Ryomen SukunaGamePass purchase from the ShopB-Tier SwordsB-Tier SwordsWhy B-TierHow to Get Saber• A weaker version of Ace that's good for early-mid game PVE • I wouldn't use it in PVP though since the moves have slow wind-ups and don't deal that much damage Best against the following bosses: Cid, Ryomen Sukuna Shanks on Starter Island Keep jumping up to the highest floating skyisland with the tree above Starter IslandD-Tier SwordsD-Tier SwordsWhy D-TierHow to Get Katana• Your starting sword for early game farmingStarter Island NPC near the treeDiverse Piece Ability and Fruit Tier List Image by Destructoid I've grouped the best Fruit and Abilities/Specs in Diverse Piece together since they both scale with the purple Special stat. In general the Abilities/Specs have better overall DPS than Fruits. That said, Fruits are easier to get if you're lucky. The best Special stat DPS option is Gojo but if you want a budget one the Light fruit is also really good if you don't want to farm for Tatsumaki or Sukuna. Let's check out their ranking reasons below. Meta Ability/FruitMeta-Tier Fruit/AbilityWhy MetaHow to Get Gojo• Gojo simply has the best AOE, DPS and stunning potential for both PVP and PVE • It's easily the best Ability in the game and is worth farming for • Infinity is probably the best ability in the game and it's an amazing support tool to give you invulnerability for 10 seconds which is OP in PVP Best against the following bosses: Cid, Ryomen SukunaSatoru Gojo on Jujutsu Island He's on the top of the big house on Jujutsu Island Ingridients needed: You need 2 Six Eye items from Mythical Chests, the Gacha on Wano Kuni, or Item/Real-time spawns Complete the Ryomen Sukuna boss quest 12 times (Near the spawn point/Use Light)S-Tier Fruit/AbilityS-Tier Fruit/AbilityWhy S-TierHow to Get Tatsumaki• Tatsumaki has amazing AOE options for PVE grinding and it's decent for PVP too because they come out fast • That said the DPS is lower than Gojo so that's why it's below it slightly Best against the following bosses: AizenTatsumaki on Wano Kuni She's on one of the pillars around the island Ingredients needed: Get 20 Meteor Fragments from the Meteor event that spawns every 15 minutes randomly Sukuna• Sukuna's moveset is more about burst damage so I actually like using it for PVP • It can deal more burst damage than Gojo but Gojo has better overall damage and combo stuns Best against the following bosses: Satoru Gojo, Turbo GrannyRyomen Sukuna NPC on Jujutsu Island He's on the mountain to the left side of Jujutsu Island Ingridients needed: Get 4 Sukuna Finger items and eat them Get them from the Wano Kuni gacha, Mythical Chests and Real-time/Item spawners (Curse Box) Also, complete the Gojo boss quest 10 times on Karakura Island next to the hollow quest (Use Dark)A-Tier Fruit/AbilityA-Tier Fruit/AbilityWhy A-TierHow to Get Light• Impressive AOE damage and fast moves • Has lower DPS than the Abilities above but still a great option and the best Fruit in the game • Can be good for PVP and PVE since the moves are decently fastWano Kuni Island Fruit Gacha NPC Has a low chance but you can spend Gold or ShardsB-Tier Fruit/AbilityB-Tier Fruit/AbilityWhy B-TierHow to Get Magma• Only good for PVE with a lot of AOE damage options • It's below Light because it's really bad for PVP since the projectile moves are slow and can be dodged • Even the AOE lava shower move can be dodged easily if you practice so use Magma only for PVEWano Kuni Island Fruit Gacha NPC Invisibility• No joke, this is actually one of the best PVP/Bounty support options since you can turn invisible both to engage fights and to escape if you get bursted • It's low though because it doesn't do anything else, you just have the one invisibility moveWano Kuni Island Fruit Gacha NPCC-Tier Fruit/AbilityC-Tier Fruit/AbilityWhy C-TierHow to Get Spin• Not really worth using, just aim for Magma/Light or Invisibility for PVPWano Kuni Fruit Gacha NPCDiverse Piece Combat Style Tier List Image by Destructoid The best Combat Style in Diverse Piece depends on whether you want a main DPS tool or a supporting one. For the most DPS go for Rudo and Okarun as a weaker alternative. For support, go for Goku since it has a damage boost for your overall build. Let's dive into them individually. S-Tier Combat StyleS-Tier Combat StyleWhy S-TierHow to Get Rudo• Rudo has the best DPS in terms of Combat Styles overall • That said, it's really bad for farming Aizen due to the elemental interaction • So overall if you're going for a Combat Style build use Rudo but for Aizen farming use OkarunRudo Surebrec on Scrapyard Island He's on top of the big house Ingridients needed: 250 Scrap from killing Beggars Broken Jinki Core from chests or the Sudo Surebrec bossA-Tier Combat StyleA-Tier Combat StyleWhy A-TierHow to Get Okarun• Really bad M1s but the rest of the moves are pretty good • Z is great mobility for PVP • X and C have good range and AOE for both PVP and PVE farming and come out fast • V is the best damage option if you can land it for PVP and really for PVE Best against the following bosses: Cid, Ryomen SukunaKen Takakura on Dandandan Island He's on one of the sides of the island Ingredients needed: Get Yoki race with Race Rerolls Get the Turbo Granny/Golden Ball quest and defeat the Turbo Granny for her soul to drop (30%) The quest also requires you to get and use 2 Golden ****** which are from Mythic Chests or drops from Turbo Granny Goku• Actually a really good supporting option for the rest of your build due to the damage boost • Otherwise, it's not the best Combat Style to use as your main DPS source unless you're farming Aizen due to the elemental interactionSon Goku on Nameki Island Behind a building next to the boss Ingredients needed: Get Saiyan race with Race Rerolls Get 7 Dragon ****** from Chests or Random Spawn or Wano Kuni Island Item Gacha D-Tier Combat StyleD-Tier Combat StyleWhy D-Tier Combat• Your starting styleAll-In-One Diverse Piece Tier List Image by Destructoid This is the overall Diverse Piece tier list with everything combined. DPS numbers were mostly the main factors but there is some consideration for utility like with Goku being great as a support option due to the damage boost. Note that for PVE these can vary based on the boss you're going for (See below). Elemental Interactions: You get 1.5x damage if you fight an enemy that's weak to your element and a 0.75x damage debuff if you fight an enemy strong to your element. Water>Fire>Air>Water & Dark Light (They are strong against each other)Fire (Sudo Surebrec)Light (Satoru Gojo, Turbo Granny)Dark (Ryomen Sukuna, Cid)Air (Aizen) Best Race in Diverse Piece Here's what all races do in Diverse Piece and you can get them from Race Rerolls (Get from chests): Common: Human (Nothing)Rare: 15% Saiyan (Buff: +5% Damage Multiplier, +5% Damage Reduction)Legendary: 5% Yokai (Buff: +5 Dodge, +20% Dash Speed)Mythical: 1% ****** (Buff: +2 Dodge, Heals 10% HP after killing an enemy) The best race is Saiyan for the damage buff and damage reduction. Yokai Doge is good but the Dash Speed is almost useless and the ****** heals are only good for farming crowds which isn't that useful. Best Build in Diverse Piece The following is one of the best builds in Diverse Piece for PVP/Bounty: Combat Style: RudoSpecial/Fruit: GojoSword: AizenRace: Saiyan (For damage and damage reduction)Trait: Shadow Clone (The echoes that deal your skill damage are OP)Equipment: Cid Cloak (For Sword damage since our main DPS is Aizen)Strategy: Max out Defense for tankyness, Sword for Aizen damage and Strength for Rudo damage. You don't need the Special stat for Gojo since we're just using him for Infinity as a support 10-second invulnerability tool. Rudo will give us healing and pull to stun enemies and Aizen has the best DPS and more stuns. That's it for my Diverse Piece tier list and guide for all swords, abilities, fruits and combat styles. In the autumn honors list, the Japanese government has given Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii the Order of the Rising Sun. This is one of the highest awards the government of Japan can bestow on citizens. It is awarded to those who have made significant contributions in their field, and Horii is the first game creator to receive it. "I think it's a great honor, I'm surprised." Horii responded in a video interview with TBS. “I’ve been making games for quite a long time now, about 40 years, but I didn’t do it alone. It's all thanks to the staff who helped create the games alongside me, and to all the players who have continuously supported us." Yuji Horii’s first game was 1983’s Love Match Tennis, which he entered into a game contest where it caught the attention of Enix. This was followed by the genre-defining visual novel mystery The Portopia Serial ******* Case. He would become most famous for his work on the game design and scenario for Enix’s long-running Dragon Quest series (1986-present). Square Enix’s recent 2D-HD remakes of Dragon Quest I, II and III have bought new attention to the RPG series’ origins. Horii is currently still hard at work on Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate, the much-awaited next game, which was announced back in 2021 during the 35th anniversary celebrations. In May, Horii confirmed Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate had not been canceled. "Yes, indeed, I can't say anything, I apologize," he said at the time. "I am making it, putting lots of work into it... I can only say that the next work will be great too, [I'm] working really hard. Please look forward to it is the only thing I can say." It is set to be the first mainline entry since 2017's Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age. In the TBS interview, Horii also offered words of encouragement to future creators: "It's important to actually create something tangible, don't just think about it," he advised. "Just try making it." The Order of the Rising Sun currently has six classes. As reported by [Hidden Content], Yuji Horii received the 4th class honors: Gold Rays with Rosette. Among the others to receive this particular award in 2025 was Devilman and Cutie Honey manga artist Go Nagai. Photo by TOSHIFUMI KITAMURA/AFP via Getty Images. Grand Theft Auto fans have known for some time that Rockstar Games worked on a single-player DLC for GTA 5 that would have seen Trevor assume the role of a secret agent. Last year, voice actor Steven Ogg said Rockstar originally planned to make a story expansion focused on his character, Trevor, with it thought to have fallen by the wayside as the developer focused on the cash cow that was GTA Online. Ogg was joined by Michael actor Ned Luke and Franklin actor Shawn Fonteno in a Questions and Answers session with Streamily. The trio shed light on what they claimed was scrapped downloadable content for GTA 5 that starred Trevor as a Federal Investigation Bureau agent. "Originally they were gonna do continuing stories of Michael, Franklin, and Trevor," Luke said, and Ogg expanded on his version. "We also had that really cool s**t of — and I forget if it was DLC, I have no idea — but where Trevor was gonna be undercover, he works for the FEDs," Ogg said. "And we did shoot some of that stuff with James Bond Trevor. He's still kind of a f**k up but he's doing his best. And we shot some stuff and then it just disappeared and they never followed up on it." Also last year, Joe Robino, who was a senior camera artist and virtual cinematographer working at Rockstar’s New York office from 2010 to 2016, spoke to the SanInPlay YouTube channel about why the GTA 5 story DLC was canceled. “A lot of the team went to do Red Dead Redemption 2 right away and I took on this other project that was a standalone DLC for GTA that never came out and it was kick ****,” Robino revealed. “That was my thing. I was one of the main editors, camera artists, and on-stage stuff. We split our teams into two. I stayed on GTA Online and then this DLC, which Steven Ogg [the actor who played Trevor Philips] was a very important part of. “And then some of the team overlapped and went to RDR2 early on, and then we just kind of did this [flipped motion], because when that game got shelved, we spent so much money… a lot of that stuff though did end up making it I believe into later iterations of GTA Online, I think. So it’s not like they wasted it. “It was really really good. But when GTA Online came out it was so much of a cash cow and people were loving it so much that it was hard to make an argument that a standalone DLC would outcompete that. I think looking back now you could probably do both. But that was a business decision they made. I was a little upset about that. “That actually was a lot of the reason for me being a little sour at that time. Because I was like yo, WTF guys? This s**t’s awesome. Let’s keep going. Let’s finish this s**t.” Fans have had snippets of information about GTA 5’s fabled story DLC over the years. GTA dataminers have also discovered a reference to Trevor with a jetpack, which suggests story mode DLC was repurposed into GTA Online, as Robino said. In 2018, Rockstar finally unveiled GTA Online's Doomsday Heist missions alongside the Thruster jetpack. Now, speaking on the Lex Fridman podcast, Rockstar Games co-founder and former lead writer Dan Houser has addressed this DLC for the first time, insisting that if the developer had continued with it, it wouldn’t have been able to make 2018’s Red Dead Redemption 2. “The internet knows we made a DLC… single-player DLC for GTA 5 that never came out,” Houser said. “It was one when you played as Trevor, but he was a secret agent. It was cute. It never quite came together, and it was never finished. It was about half done when it got abandoned. But I think if that had come out, we probably wouldn’t have gotten to make Red Dead 2. So, there are always compromises.” It’s the first time Houser has addressed the canceled GTA 5 story DLC, but it turns out there’s another project he would have loved to have made while he was at the studio: GTA Zombies. “I liked the idea of it, it was a GTA zombie game,” he said. “That would have been funny. I think that could have been quite fun.” GTA fans often lament the loss of single-player story DLC for GTA 5 after it did so well for previous GTA games. Houser said he remains a big fan of single-player DLC, and is hoping to make some as part of his new company, Absurd Ventures. “I like making the stories,” he said. “For me, I love the model of GTA 4 when you had the extra stories coming afterwards, or Red Dead 1 when you had the zombie pack coming afterwards. I like just doing these extra things. So, I would personally like to have done more of that in that company. And with stuff we’re doing in the future, we’re going to try and come up with worlds where we can add more stories. “I like single-player DLC. I just think the audience loves it, and it’s really fun to make.” What approach will Rockstar take with next year’s GTA 6? Will it go back to story DLC, or focus on whatever new version of GTA Online it has up its sleeve? And what of Steven Ogg, whose world-famous video game character, Trevor, was the focus of the canceled DLC? In September, he said he felt "absolutely nothing" inside for GTA 6 because he’s never been a fan of video games. There are a number of revelations in Lex Fridman’s Dan Houser interview, including the fate of canceled PS3 exclusive Agent, and Houser’s thoughts on why GTA won’t leave the United States in terms of setting. The Stop Killing Games campaign was debated in *** parliament on Monday, with a spokesperson for the government reiterating its stance that it has no intention to amend existing consumer laws. Stop Killing Games is a consumer campaign that challenges lawmakers to introduce legislation that would stop publishers from being able to “destroy” video games they have sold to consumers. Sharp is crowdfunding a strange lightweight tethered PC VR headset that can also connect to one of its smartphones. Called Xrostella VR1, the headset features dual 2160×2160 LCD panels paired with "light-efficient" pancake lenses with a 90-degree field of view, two greyscale fisheye tracking cameras, and one color passthrough camera. The included controllers, meanwhile, seem to resemble Quest 2's but with more hefty tracking rings. Sharp says the headset's "body" weighs just 198 grams, making it lighter than any shipping headsets except Bigscreen Beyond 2 and Shiftall MeganeX. IPD adjustment between 58mm and 71mm is supported, as well as diopter adjustment from 0D to -9.0D. While Xrostella VR1 is primarily designed for PC VR, Sharp says it will also be compatible with its AQUOS sense10 smartphone, projecting the phone's display onto a fixed virtual screen. More smartphone models will be "expanded sequentially", the company claims. It's unclear exactly who Xrostella VR1 is supposed to be for. We haven't seen a major VR headset use only two tracking cameras since the Windows MR headsets that came before HP Reverb G2, as this approach severely limits the tracking range of the controllers. It's also rare for a headset to only use one camera for passthrough, as this results in a complete lack of correct depth and scale. Further, the lack of eye tracking and hand tracking means the headset probably won't appeal to many VRChat users, while the narrow field of view and mediocre resolution won't appeal to simulator fans. Of course, it's somewhat premature to assess the product proposition here without a price. If available at a low cost, Sharp could be aiming to offer a kind of "ultralight headset for the rest of us". But that seems unlikely. Sharp says it will crowdfund Xrostella VR1 on the Japanese platform GREENFUNDING later this month. It's unclear why a company of Sharp's size is crowdfunding rather than just launching, but it may be a mechanism to gauge interest before taking the risk. View the full article

What's the most expensive videogame cosmetic you've ever bought? If you're answer is 'none,' then that's probably a good thing. For me, it was the Valorant Go! The director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office has ordered a reexamination of Nintendo's controversial 'summon character and let it fight' Pokémon patent after it was heavily criticized by IP lawyers. In September, IP lawyers criticized the U.S. patent system and the USPTO after Nintendo was awarded a Pokémon patent that revolves around summoning a character and letting it fight. Games Fray reported that Patent No. 12,403,397, dubbed the '397 patent, was granted by the USPTO "without any objection” to Nintendo, which is embroiled in ongoing litigation with Pocketpair's Palworld. While the patent sums up how Pokémon games work in that you summon Pokémon to battle other Pokémon in the hope of adding them to your collection, there are countless other games that use similar mechanics, such as Persona, Digimon, and even Elden Ring, depending upon how the patent is interpreted. At the time, IP expert Florian Mueller took to social media to say Nintendo “should never” have received a "summon character and let it fight" patent in the first place, while video game patent lawyer Kirk Sigmon told PC Gamer "these claims were in no way allowable." Now, Games Fray has reported that Donald Trump nominee John A. Squires, who only became director of the USPTO in September, has personally ordered a reexamination after he "determined that substantial new questions of patentability have arisen" to certain claims made by the patent. Here's Squires' description of the claims in question: "The '397 patent issued with claims drawn to controlling the movement of a player character in a field of a virtual space, causing a sub character to appear in the field, controlling a battle in a manual mode when an enemy character is present in the location the sub character has appeared, and when an enemy character is not present in the location the sub character has appeared, automatically moving the sub character, and controlling a battle in an automatic mode when an enemy character is placed at a designated location." In his order, Squires pointed to two older U.S. patent applications — one filed by Konami in 2002, the other by Nintendo itself in 2019 — as “prior art” references. Both, Squires said, would be “important in deciding whether the claims are patentable,” and each “raises a substantial new question of patentability.” Mueller, writing for Games Fray, said Squires' order was down to the “public outrage” at the award of the patent, and concerns about the reputation of the U.S. patent system as a whole. While this reexamination isn’t a revocation order, Mueller insisted it is now “highly likely” that the USPTO will revoke Nintendo’s ‘397 patent. Nintendo has two months to respond. What does this mean for Nintendo and The Pokémon Company’s high-profile legal battle with Pocketpair over Palworld? Mueller said it “further undermines the credibility” of Nintendo’s patent assertions against Pocketpair's game. This is the latest legal blow for Nintendo in its battle against Palworld. Last month, one of the Nintendo patents related to its monster capture patents filed last year was rejected by the Japan Patent Office (JPO) for lacking originality. The office’s reasoning for the rejection made reference to older games with similar mechanics that were released even before 2021, including ARK (released in 2015), Monster Hunter 4 (2013), and Japanese browser game Kantai Collection (also 2013). Ironically, Pocketpair’s Craftopia (2020) and Niantic’s Pokémon Go (2016) were among other examples of games that were used to argue that the patent lacks originality. The case involves three main patents granted by the JPO: two related to monster capture and release, and one related to riding characters. All three patents were filed in 2024, after Palworld came out. However, they are actually derived from earlier Nintendo patents dating from 2021. In other words, it seems that once Palworld came on the scene, Nintendo filed divisional patents that were geared to fight specifically against Palworld’s alleged infringement of the original patents. Since then, Pocketpair has made changes to Palworld’s disputed mechanics. The November 2024 patch removed the ability to summon Pals by throwing Pokéball-like Pal Spheres (now Pals just materialize next to you when summoned). In May this year, another Palworld update changed how you can glide in the game — instead of directly grabbing onto Glider Pals, now you just simply use Pal-buffed Glider equipment. The case has rumbled on, with Nintendo even rewriting a mount-related patent mid-lawsuit, and arguing that mods should not count as prior art. So what happens next? Mueller said there may not be any further developments this calendar year relating to Nintendo’s lawsuit against Pocketpair or patents that are related to it. But decisions are expected next year. All eyes will be on Presiding Judge Motoyuki Nakashima, who leads the patent division of the Tokyo District Court. “It is ever more likely that Nintendo will lose,” Mueller said. At the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in March, IGN sat down for an extended conversation with John “Bucky” Buckley, communications director and publishing manager for Palworld developer Pocketpair. We spoke following his talk at the conference, 'Community Management Summit: A Palworld Roller Coaster: Surviving the Drop.' During that talk, Buckley went into candid detail about a number of Palworld’s struggles, especially the accusations of it using generative AI (which Pocketpair has since debunked pretty soundly) and stealing Pokemon’s models for its own Pals (a claim that the person who originally made it has since retracted). He even commented a bit on Nintendo’s patent infringement lawsuit against the studio, saying it “came as a shock” to the studio and was “something that no one even considered.” Last month, former Capcom game developer Yoshiki Okamoto issued comments seemingly against Pocketpair and Palworld in the legal battle, sparking a backlash from viewers. In a YouTube video posted on his channel on September 27, Okamoto said Palworld had "crossed a line that should not be crossed, and I don't want the world to become a place where this kind of thing is acceptable."
