The Fallout community is good at coming together to create cool things, with the least of these being a huge Fallout 4 mod built in just one weekend to help raise money for a charity drive by legendary Fallout, Elder Scrolls, and Starfield voice actor Wes Johnson - who also stars in it. If you're out of the loop, for the past couple of years now a group of high-profile Fallout and Elder Scrolls modders have been coming together to build a big mod with features voted on by fans over the course of a single weekend - game jam style. It's just one of the many things organised by Johnson and charity initiative Fallout For Hope to help raise money for the Alzheimer's Association during a yearly drive called Wes Johnson's Voiceapalooza. There are mini-ITX motherboards for Intel's LGA1700 socket from every major manufacturer, and the MSI MPG Z790I Edge WiFi sits at the upper end of the scale price-wise, retailing for $330 (£330). Warner Bros. has revealed a first look at the upcoming animated film The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, and even confirmed its runtime. There are two things everyone knows about The Lord of the Rings: that one bit of trivia about Viggo Mortensen breaking his toe and his scream in the film being his real reaction, and that The Lord of the Rings films are very, very long. Yesterday, via Entertainment Weekly, Warner Bros. Animation revealed a first look at the animated film, which tells a prequel story about Helm Hammerhand, the ancient king of Rohan, the namesake of Helm's Deep. It is also quite long, as The Hollywood Reporter also shared that despite being envisioned as 90 minutes long to start, it has now ended up at two and half hours long. Disney has been steadily putting out live-action remakes of its films over the past decade, but the same treatment isn't in Pixar's future. Back in 2014, Disney began its trend of remaking some of its classic animated films, starting out with the Sleeping Beauty retelling Maleficent. It kind of abandoned that alternate perspective angle quite quickly, instead just going for mostly straight remakes with at least one new song added so they can submit something to the Oscars, but for the most part all the house of mouse has done is produce commercially successful but critically poor films. Thankfully, it doesn't sound like Pixar films will be getting any live-action remakes in the near future, as in a recent interview with Time, chief creative officer Pete Docter expressed disinterest in them. Docter was informed by Time that Challengers star Josh O'Connor had been talking about his love for Ratatouille on the tennis film's press tour nonstop, and that there's a fan campaign for O'Connor to star in a live-action remake of the cooking rat movie. When asked if live-action adaptations are something Pixar would ever consider, Docter said quite bluntly, "No, and this might ***** me in the ***** for saying it, but it sort of bothers me. The Codename Frontiers is the next big thing for Destiny 2 after the first three Episodes end. Not much is known about the project, but the game gives plenty of hints that in year 11, Guardians will journey beyond Sol. Despite recently saying he's not going to commit to a specific number, The Boys creator Eric Kripke has confirmed season 5 will be its last one. It was just the other week that Kripke said he doesn't want to say how many seasons of The Boys there will be, primarily because of how wrong he got it with Supernatural, and yet now on his personal Twitter account he's announced that actually, yes, season 5 will be the final one. "Season 4 Premiere Week is a good time to announce: Season 5 will be the Final Season!" he wrote on Twitter. "Always my plan, I just had to be cagey till I got the final OK from Vought. Thrilled to bring the story to a gory, epic, moist climax. Watch Season 4 in 2 DAYS, cause the end has begun!" Kripke also spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the announcement, saying that he's "excited to finally ******** a 5-season plan," *******-in-cheekily referencing his ******** to do so with Supernatural. "That's very exciting for me." Kripke explained his reasoning for putting a hard cap on it, saying, "Part of it is such a wonky ******* screenwriter thing but three and five are the big magical numbers for writing.
