AMD has for the first time confirmed that its next CPU architecture will be called AMD Zen 6, which will follow on from the Zen 5 launch in just two weeks. Patch 7, a big release planned for September, won’t be the game’s final update, according to the devs. Patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is supposed to be one of the game’s biggest updates, aiming to add numerous features and revamp existing ones. It will officially introduce the Baldur’s Gate 3 modding kit, numerous new cinematics, bug fixes, and more. Me neither, but that hasn't stopped seemingly hundreds of people from doing just that. Publisher Focus Entertainment had announced the third-person action game having "gone gold" (released for manufacturing) on July 9. The leaked build might date to February 23, 2024, as suggested by site Insider Gaming, which had previously suggested a June 20 date. Footage from the leaked builds, which has been mostly taken offline by Focus through copyright claims, suggested that it was a mostly complete version of the game, with some placeholder assets in menus.
