Wuthering Waves' Sonance Caskets can net you some pretty sweet rewards, but only if you're paying attention and collecting them all. These shiny cubes are hidden around different areas of the game, much like the Oculi in Genshin Impact, so finding them all is a bit tricky. Back in February 2020, when Diablo 4 was still a glimmer in Lilith's eye, Path of Exile 2 was just beginning to surface as an idea, and Last Epoch was but a newborn ***** looking to find its feet in the initial throes of early access, Wolcen looked to be the big new **** on the block. An ARPG with no class restrictions and a beautiful world to explore, it showed a lot of early promise. While many players flock back to the game, the Multiversus relaunch has been a rocky one. Many features from the beta are straight-up missing, and some changes have been met with derision. The platform fighter filled with Warner Bros. IP controls well, and shows a lot of promise, but this return hasn't been without issue. There’s no zombie-like resurrection coming: on Friday, Jeff Ross, the game director of Days Gone, revealed that a sequel would never be forthcoming as the publishers, Sony, were never truly “fans” of the franchise. In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Ross explained that Days Gone’s discontinuation was a ‘purely portfolio-based’ decision. With the success of The Last of Us, a legendary zombie-themed hit, Sony felt that another game in the same genre was unnecessary. “They already had a zombie game, so why would they need the lesser-performing title.” he further explained. All of you MultiVersus players have probably noticed some features are missing, but Player First Games are planning on bringing them back. Last week, after a year-long hiatus, MultiVersus finally had its full launch and has received a mix of responses. Our own Dom is feeling divided on it, even if they are enjoying the core gameplay, and many other players haven't exactly been thrilled about some of the choices that have been made. Notably, the strange decision to omit certain features that were present in the game, like match stats, team colours, and several other features too. The decision to outright temporarily shut MultiVersus down for a year was already a controversial decision, so coming back with less features, particularly important staples of platform fighters like those, obviously feels like an odd decision. Player First Games is very aware of this feedback, though, as game director Tony Huynh recently took to Twitter to acknowledge the lack of these features, and what the plans are for the game going forward. "Thank you for the feedback! The team is hard at work on it. Some of the missing settings and features from the open beta are incoming: team colors, end-of-game stats, swapping side and neutral attacks, adjustable input buffer settings, etc," wrote Huynh. Bloodborne is set in a world full of horror and corrupted by the greed for power. Because of this dismal setting, it's difficult for the Hunter to find a character that doesn't have a tragic past or meets an unfortunate fate later during the game. Now, seven years later, G-Assist is back as a real demo of a powerful GeForce AI assistant that Nvidia might eventually bring to life for game developers and RTX GPU owners. Nvidia leans into RTX AI PCs. | Image: Nvidia Nvidia and AMD are gearing up to launch gaming laptops that include the AI Copilot Plus features that Microsoft just announced for Qualcomm-powered laptops. At Computex today, Nvidia briefly teased that “RTX AI PC” laptops are on the way from Asus and MSI that will eventually include Copilot Plus PC features. “Newly announced RTX AI PC laptops from ASUS and MSI feature up to GeForce RTX 4070 GPUs and power-efficient systems-on-a-chip with Windows 11 AI PC capabilities,” says Nvidia in a blog post. On June 4, 2024, the long-awaited Center map returns to Ark: Survival Ascended. The map originally appeared in Ark: Survival Evolved, first as a player-made mod by Ben EvilMrFrank Burkart. Featuring an unusually high difficulty level, excellent loot, new biomes, and unique geographical features, The Center was a massive hit. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom music lovers, I'm sorry to say that the game's CD boxset is a ridiculously expensive £230. Last month, a suite of cool Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom merch items were announced by the official ********* Zelda Twitter account, with one of the most exciting being a massive boxset containing the game's entire soundtrack. It's obviously going to be quite the piece to have in any Zelda lover's collection, and a great way to listen to the soundtrack for those of you out there that hate having to rely on streaming services. A few weeks later and it's now available to pre-order on Amazon (thanks, Eurogamer), but uh, there's only one problem - it costs a ridiculously high £230. Now, admittedly, there's a whole lot of music here. As mentioned in the product description, there's a total of "344 songs on 9 CDs, including songs from the game and songs used in trailers," the total recording time amounting to around 11 hours. That is a whole lot of soundtrack, an amount so large you can't help but think to yourself "hang on, is there even that much music in the game?" It's not like it was hard to deny that Valve is working on a game called Deadlock before, but now that it's trademarked the name, it's extra impossible. All of you Valve fans are likely already aware of its next game on the docket, which is currently poised to be a steampunk fantasy hero shooter called Deadlock. You've probably seen the leaks by now too, which shows the game in an unfinished state, though it has also given everyone a look at its strong character designs. The game is supposedly being playtested right now, but Valve is yet to actually confirm its existence. Well, yet to confirm it publicly anyway, as it kind of did so thanks to a recent trademark filing of the game's name (as spotted by Gabe Follower, thanks PC Gamer). The trademark was filed on May 30, earlier this week, and is intended to cover various categories like "entertainment services… providing online video games; provision of on-line entertainment, namely, on-line computer games; entertainment services, namely, providing on-line computer games and on-line video games," as well as things like "competitions relating to video games" and "video game education" so it sounds like Valve possibly has some eSports plans for its upcoming shooter. Toys For Bob might no longer be owned by Activision, and subsequently Microsoft, but it is partnering with Xbox on its next game. Back in March, Toys For Bob announced that it was going independent, freeing itself from being subjected to working on Call of Duty games. Later that month there was a report that the studio had, ironically, signed a deal with Microsoft for its next game, the very same company it was no longer owned by. Now, via its official Twitter account, Toys For Bob has confirmed that a publishing deal has been signed between it and Xbox, though didn't have too much else to say. "We're excited to announce that we'll be partnering with Xbox to publish our next new game," reads the post. "We're still very early in development, so you might not hear from us for a bit - but know that we're working hard on an experience we're so sooo inspired about! Can't wait to share more." You can see the tweet above for yourself, and you might notice that it's looking particularly purple. Unsurprisingly, this has quickly prompted fans to speculate that Toys For Bob is hinting at a new Spyro title, something many have been hoping for for a number of years now. Toys For Bob notably developed the Skylanders series when those were still a thing, later going on to make the Spyro Reignited Trilogy too, setting them up in a strong position to make a new Spyro game.
