Riven - an exciting new (ish) first-person puzzle game from the creators of Myst - has just got a brand-new gameplay trailer ahead of its launch later this month. Honestly, I turn my back on shooter-of-note Helldivers 2 for (checks calendar)... one, maybe two weeks, and you all go and transform a planet into a ****** *****. "You" being the players who completed the metagame's last Major Order and successfully pumped the Terminid supercolony of Meridia full of an experimental "Dark Fluid" - which Super-Earth, incidentally, pinched from the Illuminate faction during the First Galactic War, aka Helldivers 1. Now, Meridia has imploded and become a radiant, wailing, purple-fringed disc of pure nothingness, with triumphant players rudely ejected from orbit via emergency hyperspace jump, but subsequently allowed to return and gaze into the dark heart of their victory. The usual marathon of pre-expansion error codes and server issues has officially begun. Destiny 2’s servers went offline today ahead of The Final Shape, leaving no room for any last-minute activities before the expansion kicks off at reset tomorrow. Server maintenance windows are a staple ahead of almost any Destiny 2 update, with the servers often being taken down a couple of hours before any hotfix. With seasons and expansions, however, that maintenance window is far longer than just a few hours—and The Final Shape in particular will keep the servers offline for 25 hours, as confirmed by Bungie. Fortnite has several game modes: Save the World, Battle Royale, Creative, Fortnite Festival, LEGO Fortnite, and Rocket Racing. G2 Esports secured their first Counter-Strike 2 trophy on June 2 after defeating Team Vitality in the IEM Dallas 2024 grand final. But while it was a memorable moment for the whole team, it was special for one particular member for an additional reason. That individual is none other than G2’s head coach, TaZ. While this was his first trophy since joining the ********* giants as a coach, it’s yet another Intel Extreme Masters title added to his collection.
