  14. Somewhere in the depths of space is a coalition of aliens who are completely and unreasonably **** at a city on Earth. It's hard to say why this is, whether that be a stray parking ticket or someone there drinking their koks without frapping it, but whatever it may have been that city's got to go. The aliens won't stop escalating their attacks until its shield is down and the city is wiped from the universe for good, taking all of humanity with it in one final massive **********. It would probably be a little easier for them, though, if the city wasn't defended not only by its shield but a massive **** capable of nearly-overwhelming firepower. View the full article
  15. Dota 2‘s esports calendar is vast and all-encompassing, but by far the highlight of the year is The International, the largest celebration of the game we all know and love in the form of a huge tournament seeing squads from across the globe battle to ******** the other’s ancient. Esports fans from other titles always swing by a Dota 2 stream or two during TI, with the event historically one of the largest in terms of prize pool. 18. Extraction shooters seem to be having their moment of late, but since its quiet early access release date last year, Dark and Darker has been making a splash by taking the “shooter” out of “extraction shooter” and swapping the big screen for the small. An extraction shooter set in a low fantasy world with no guns to be found is, granted, a compelling pitch. Toss in some sword-and-sorcery gameplay and add a crushingly difficult dungeon that makes the stakes inherent to the genre feel all the more real and you have a recipe for success, as evidenced by the thriving playerbase it’s enjoyed over the past year. Soon, however, it’s going to have an all-new audience: The mobile market. View the full article

The only potential downside to completing this Squad Building Challenge is its relatively high price for late August. View the full article
  21. In the living environment of an MMO, especially one as large as World of Warcraft, maintaining balance without spoiling the fun is key. However, a recent change to how leveling works in the new The War Within expansion has rubbed players the wrong way and is disrupting that delicate balance. WoW‘s recent The War Within expansion has mostly been received well by the community, but apparently that wasn’t enough to save it from further tweaking. As is the way things go with MMOs, many players are entering The War Within expansion with endgame gear from the previous expansion Dragonflight.
