  1. One of the big strengths of CD Projekt's Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 RPGs is that they're so extensively moddable. That's great for players of the game, who get to take advantage of new features and add-ons the original developers never imagined, but it's also good news for budding game developers who dream of one day working in Warsaw. In a lengthy interview with Flow Gaming, CD Projekt's Pawel Sasko said the studio draws extensively from the modding community when it's hiring... Read more.View the full article
  2. Rocket sidearms are the new sweethearts of Destiny 2, and the Tower’s most beloved family just got a new member: Aberrant Action. This new, Vex-inspired, Solar-based rocket sidearm deals all the damage we’ve come to expect, but with a great perk pool—and it’s even better in Solar subclasses. Aberrant Action follows the Arc-aligned Indebted Kindness (Warlord’s Ruin) and the newly released The Call (The Final Shape). Since it’s a Solar *******, you can expect perks such as Heal Clip and Incandescent, which are perfect to kickstart Solar synergies but can work in other classes. Prismatic may also make good use of this ******* with its Fragments for applying Light debuffs if you have a roll with Incandescent. 3. It appears that years of backlash have come to a boiling point after the reveal of Genshin Impact’s Natlan region character designs, which players and even some of the game’s voice actors say are white-washed designs of ********, Polynesian, and Mayan myths and deities. Genshin Impact is no stranger when it comes to controversy. The game and its developers at HoYoverse have been accused of things like being a Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild copycat in the past. In addition, the game has faced negative reception for prioritizing its Gacha mechanics so unabashedly. Despite all of the noise surrounding it, Genshin Impact and HoYoverse have maintained their grip on the gaming zeitgeist of the 2020s. View the full article
  4. There are several Timed Research tickets to work through while playing Pokémon Go. For those participating in the Better Together event, there’s a Timed Research available to all players, with a guaranteed Tandemaus encounter making it easier to catch this Pokémon at least once during the Ultra Unlock event. The Better Together event is an Ultra Unlock reward for all Pokémon Go players. It was released because players completed enough Global Challenges during the Pokémon Go Fest 2024 event last weekend, bringing Tandemus and its evolved form, Maushold, to the mobile game. 5. New leaks about the updates in Genshin Impact 5.0s Natlan region are suggesting that there is devastating information about the Traveler underway. Version 5.0 is the next major update in the action RPG by HoYoverse and, based on the games regular schedule, it should arrive in late August. Before that, players will have to get through the release of Genshin Impact 4.8 and its contents, though leaks about Natlan are getting more intense as time passes. Now, new leaks about the Travelers status in Natlan hint at worrying details about the character. View the full article For verified travel tips and real support, visit: [Hidden Content]
  6. Last night, the city of Chicago issued 10 simultaneous tornado warnings as severe storms swept through the area. I know this because 1) I live in Chicago, and 2) I was fighting The Witness, final boss of Destiny 2's latest raid at the time. Now you might think that, as a literally late-middle-aged man, as soon as I was informed about the tornado situation, I immediately downed my rocket-powered sidearm, wished my teammates well, and disconnected. After that my partner, our irascible puppy Jelly Bean, and I huddled in the bath to avoid falling masonry, or hunkered down in the bedroom cupboard, which I was later informed is even safer. Reader, let me tell you, that is not what I did... Read more.View the full article
  7. Activision has announced that the Atlas Superstore point of interest from the fan-favorite Verdansk map will soon return in the Urzikstan map during Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone. 8. Like just about the entire playerbase, I've been looking forward to crafting Aberrant Action today. It's the first solar rocket-powered sidearm in Destiny 2 and it comes with a stacked set of perks. The **** was added to the game as part of Act 2 of Echoes, along with an arc heavy-burst pulse rife called Corrasion, at the weekly reset... Read more.View the full article

The Grow Together Timed Research is a limited-time ticket you can buy from the in-game store. We’ll list every task you need to complete and the rewards you get for them below. View the full article
  10. Some games don't seem to have any luck and Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 is one of them. Hit by a long delay and the recent scrapping of a beta, the game has been taking a bruising as it builds up to launch. Now something far more devastating has happened both for the game and the developer, with a near-complete build of the title getting leaked onto the internet two months ahead of launch. 11. Image: Larian Studios In a new community update, Larian Studios has shared a brief overview of all the things it’s working on for the next Baldur’s Gate 3 patch. Larian has previously announced that patch 7, due out in September, will include the release of official mod support and the introduction of a toolkit that will allow players the ability to create their own mods. According to Larian, the toolkit supports the creation of new items, classes and subclasses, races, and more. I’ve been modding my games since the days of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade and Dragon Age: Origins. However, I’ve always been intimidated by the idea of creating my own mods, even for games I adore. I’m definitely interested to try out the mod toolkit for myself, especially... 12. Tandemaus and Maushold have arrived in Pokémon Go as part of the Ultra Unlock: Better Together event on July 17, and fans are eager to know if both Maushold forms are in-game. When you evolve Tandemaus in the mainline series of games, the Family of Four form is the default spawn, but in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, there is a 1/10 chance that the rare Family of Three form is given to you instead. It’s completely random which form you get there, so what about in Pokémon Go? View the full article
  13. When it comes to military simulators, I want the emotional experience of piloting a jet, but I don't want the actual, complete, 1-to-1 technicalities. War Thunder feels like a good middle ground. It's still robust and realistic, but sufficiently toned down that you can pick up and play it without having to learn how to actually drive a tank. Command and Conquer always felt nicely streamlined, too, an RTS that gives you the sense of organizing an army without the pragmatic rigors. From legendary milsim and strategy dev MicroProse, the company behind Carrier Command 2, Regiments, and Ground Breach, Silent Depth 2 is a new submarine game that's as deep and convincing as it is accessible. 14. Let’s hope you liked the studded leather gear randomly introduced in the middle of the Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail MSQ, because there’s more where that came from—there’s a whole new set of studded biker gear you can get from the latest raid series, the Arcadion. With the unlock of the AAC Light-heavyweight Tier in FFXIV patch 7.01, you can finally start ditching Neo Kingdom and Artifact gear to fill your loadout with better armor pieces. You can grab holo-relics that drop from the raid fights themselves and turn them in for ilvl 710 Light-heavy raid gear—here’s how. View the full article
  15. Tandemaus and its evolution Maushold are new Pokémon coming to Pokémon Go as part of July 17’s Ultra Unlock: Better Together event. Finding one, though, is perhaps more complicated than it needs to be. From 10am on July 17 until July 22 at 8pm local time, Tandemaus is available to catch for a limited time, but you wouldn’t know that if you looked at the overworld. It won’t spawn in the wild but instead has a unique way to find and catch it. So best of luck, trainers—you’re going to need it. View the full article
  16. Manor Lords’ single dev has a lot planned for the game, with one highly requested feature set to make its way into the city-builder soon—fishing ponds. This will provide players with extra value in their villages early on, as well as help ensure their villagers don’t croak come winter. The upcoming addition of fishing ponds was confirmed yesterday by Greg Styczeń, the mastermind behind Steam’s most-wishlisted game, on X (formerly Twitter). He said he’s currently “working on fishing ponds for the next update” since the feature was “requested a lot.” He didn’t provide a lot of details on how fishing ponds or fishing itself will be implemented but included a beautiful and serene picture of a work-in-progress pond. Styczeń also responded to players’ questions on Twitter/X, both regarding the feature and off-topic inquiries. View the full article
