  2. For over two years, a relatively minor but ultimately significant issue plagued Elden Ring, but the game's most recent patch has finally addressed it. The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion was confirmed to be the only DLC in the works for FromSoftware's latest RPG, but that hasn't stopped the studio from making continued changes to the game. Balance adjustments were the primary changes in Elden Ring's version 1.13 patch, mostly bringing overdue changes to Spirit Ash Summons and tweaks to various Ashes of War, but perhaps the most relieving part of the patch concerns Torrent.   3. August is already looking packed for incredible new indie games, and this intriguing, solo dev roguelike has just joined the party. Feed the Deep, which is heavily inspired by the likes of Spelunky, tasks you with diving down to the ocean floor to gather resources, uncover secrets, and ultimately feed a sea monster that threatens a floating city above.   6. Getting to the top of a mountain isn't done in one giant stride - you have to take each individual step to get there. That's the feeling I get looking at the latest set of Once Human patch notes. It's not a colossal update which will make drastic changes to the game, but instead it's a series of incremental fixes that nevertheless add up to something large. And according to well-known leaker Osvaldatore, season 22 will fundamentally shift that discussion. According to Osvaldatore, aim assist will be getting a nerf on PC in Apex next season. The rumored news came in a post on X/Twitter, in which Osvaldatore claimed the “magnet” aim assist value for controller players on PC will decrease from 0.4 to 0.3 next season, and also said there will be “increased camera shake while taking damage.” According to the *****, aim assist values on console are not expected to change as this tweak solely targets the PC version of the game.   15. Ever since it was introduced to the League of Legends community, Fearless Draft has been one of the most requested format changes for multiple leagues around the world. And in Europe, EMEA esports director Maximilian Peter Schmidt has confirmed the unique draft style is still being considered for next year. In an interview with Sheep Esports, Schmidt said Fearless Draft was “still on the table” to be added as a new system for its various leagues, but that Riot Games still had to observe how the rest of the region was adapting to the other recent changes that were implemented for 2024.
