  1. The Elder Scrolls 6 has a lot of expectations, especially since Bethesda announced it far too early and then Microsoft went and bought the developer for a ridiculous sum of money. Naturally, this has fans speculating wildly about what kind of features it will include and how it will be better than Bethesda's current offerings. However, while it would be great to see TES6 include the wealth of improvements seen across other triple-A titles, there is one area it needs to nail above all else. View the full article
  2. Blizzard is holding a ***** on World of Warcraft game services to help celebrate the release of Patch 11.0.5 and its accompanying anniversary event. 5. The Monk is one of the more challenging classes to select as a multiclass complement in Baldur’s Gate 3. It’s a class that prefers having no armor, and only a handful of weapons actively work to benefit from its open-hand playstyle. However, there are a few choices you can meld together with it. A few classes have exceptional synergies with unarmed strikes and Monk in general, which make them very enticing. It all comes down to the type of character you want to play, what your party needs while you’re playing, and how you’re hoping to synergize with your companions. Thankfully, you can always speak with Withers if you want to reconsider your choices. These are some of the best multiclass options for Monk in Baldur’s Gate 3. View the full article
  6. Sonic x Shadow Generations is a remake of Sonic Generations. With it, ***** has added a bunch of new modes, content, and improvements to the original game, as well as some more subtle changes. It’s hard to tell what has been added or taken away from the original or changed if you don’t pay attention to some specific activites, cutscenes, and other things. Most of the changes are actually pretty small outside of the big new mode and a few additional collectibles to find in levels. View the full article
  7. The team behind Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has been disbanded, according to a report from French media outlet Origami. In a video posted today in French (for which IGN has independently verified a translation posted on ResetEra), Origami reports that the team behind The Lost Crown was disbanded despite seemingly positive reports from developers on their experiences working on the game. Per a tweet by Gauthier Andres: "I've heard and read 'It was the best game production in my entire life' three or four times in a single weekend while getting information on the game's development. One after the other I was told it was seen as a beacon of hope to create a safe space for people that were burnt out by Beyond Good & Evil 2. The team has been disbanded by Ubisoft." [Hidden Content] — Gautoz (@gautoz) October 22, 2024 The video also states that the game's fate was effectively decided just a few weeks after its release. The core game development team reportedly fought to get a sequel or at least more expansions beyond the single "Mask of Darkness" expansion, but Ubisoft allegedly needed more help on other projects that had better sales potential. Per the report, The Lost Crown did not meet Ubisoft's sales expectations, and executives expressed concerns that a sequel would cannibalize long-term sales of the first game. It is unclear from the report exactly what the status of the members of the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown team is at this time. The game was developed at Ubisoft Montpellier, which employs hundreds of individuals and was last known to be working on the infinitely-in-limbo Beyond Good and Evil 2. It's likely that team members were, as was suggested by the report, moved onto other projects such as that, but IGN has reached out to Ubisoft for further clarity. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown's reported fate, if true, is a tragic one given how excellent the game is. We gave it an 8/10 in our review, saying it "captures not only what made games such as The Sands of Time so good, but it irons out a lot of the little issues that plagued the 3D games in this series by opting for a 2D perspective – and owning it." 9. There are several locations scattered throughout the first map in No More Room in ***** 2 where you can grab supplies and precious equipment on your way to the Power Plant. One of these locations is the bar, but getting inside can be challenging. There are several steps to getting into the bar. You only want to focus on this location based on your starting point on the map. If you’re not near the bar, you’re better off searching for supplies elsewhere. You can check this by viewing your map and seeing what nearby point of interest locations you can visit. There will be plenty of zombies and undead at these locations, so having a friend or two with you is always a good idea. Here’s what you need to know about unlocking the bar in No More Room in ***** 2. View the full article
  10. As far as Starfield has come in the year since its launch, the game's community is still going out of its way to make it even better with some incredible mods that bring important NPCs to life. A problem that's present in nearly every Bethesda RPG, non-playable characters tend to have a lack of personality, simply moving around the world and serving as signposts for various quests. One dedicated fan decided to fix this issue their way by implementing a mod that gives key figures more to do than simply stand around. View the full article
  11. Although it's been a little while since I last dipped my toes in, I've got nothing but love for Embark Studios' work on The Finals. New shooters that feel genuinely fresh are hard to come by these days, and it's currently attempting to work its magic all over again with ARC Raiders, its PvPvE extraction shooter. To help ARC Raiders along, Embark has now revealed a new playtest that will let Steam players try the game early, and it's right around the corner. Read the rest of the story... 13. There are only a handful of survivors left in No More Room in ***** 2, but the character you choose before you enter a match can be crucial to helping your team reach the end. If you’ve been playing long enough, though, you may want to use another character. The options you have are limited. You might only sometimes start with the character you want to use, but it’s better to use your limited choices, especially if your goal is to try to complete the mission. If you’ve already used a character several times, ensuring they continue to survive is always a goal. When you want to give another character a try, can you change characters in No More Room in ***** 2? View the full article
  14. One longtime question from the original Silent Hill 2 that has carried over into the remake is why Laura cannot see the town's monsters. Being a character connected to Mary, she becomes important to the story even though her existence sometimes feels out of place. With her wandering around the town with no fears, fans have speculated on the reason the monsters never affect her. After 23 years since the release of the original game, official confirmation surrounding the reason Laura does not see Silent Hill's monsters may just put this question to rest. View the full article
