  4. Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6's multiplayer craze is well underway, and as usual for the series, that means the beginning of post-launch content. For years now the series has adopted a battle pass-style model in its release of maps, skins, weapons, and more for both its multiplayer and Warzone components. This year is no different, and ****** Ops 6's Season 1 will release its first batch of content next week.   6. Several in-game years may go by before a Stardew Valley player finds their first Prismatic Shard, but even then, they may have absolutely no idea what to do with it. Suffice it to say that Prismatic Shards are exceptionally rare, with only one or two guaranteed drops, and a sub-one-percent chance of finding one organically almost anywhere else. Though the sequel to the beloved prehistoric survival game has gone through considerable delays, and Ark: Survival Ascended continues to get DLCs, it is still surrounded by waves of excitement.   9. One of the biggest issues that detractors point to when criticizing Starfield is the onerous loading screens that plague the game. Even though this is nothing too new for Bethesda the contrast becomes even more apparent when comparing it to other open-world titles like Cyberpunk 2077, which does a much better job of seamlessly integrating interior and exterior locations without the need for a loading screen every time one enters a new location.   14. While blasting through the forces of chaos in Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2, players will quickly notice that most of the imposing Chaos Rubric Marines spew colorful dust rather than blood. This strange phenomenon is even referenced by Titus and his Ultramarines, noting their displeasure at beating enemies without a physical form. After slaying a Rubric Marine, they simply fall apart into a pile of armor as the rainbow particles within fly away, leaving many players confused about what they're truly fighting in Space Marine 2.   17. I grew up in an era when the only keyboards available were hulking slabs of plastic with more keys than you could ever need. They had massive number pads, a whole area for your arrows, and even a “navigation cluster” for keys a Quake-addicted **** in the nineties would never use. Back then, your keyboard ate up all your desk space, and we liked it. We just didn’t know better. Thankfully, we’ve moved on from those dark days. The rise of laptops forced designers to come up with ways to fit as much of the functionality of the keyboard in a smaller form factor, and so we saw the numpad disappear and the “function” key come to prominence.   19. Romance is a big part of Baldur's Gate 3 with all the options that a player has in the game of love and heartbreak. The feature is so prevalent that Withers will even comment on the romance in a rather out-of-pocket fashion, even if the player ends up alone. From a certain perspective, Baldur's Gate 3 is basically a fantasy dating simulator with a campaign about felling a pretender ****, which is quite apt considering how much effort has been put into the romantic side of the story.   23. The Partners in a Dangerous ****** quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a side quest that finally finishes the spy parts of the Crows missions. This is where players find out who the traitor is and what to do with them. The two difficult parts of the quest are completing the puzzle and what to do about the traitors when you find them.
