  10. One of my proudest pictures of a 2018 trip to Croatia wasn't of me and my pal. No, it wasn't of the beautiful scenery or the glistening sea either. It was of many cats lying in the sun together outside a little *******. I hadn't seen that volume of cats in my life, nor that volume together in one spot, all hanging out. Now, you too can live this magic: there's a demo of this upcoming sidescroller called Neko Odyssey on Steam, and it consists of you taking photos of cats for internet clout. It's nice! 13. GIANTS Software recently released Farming Simulator 25 on PC and other platforms as the newest addition to the beloved series within the simulation category, but the game's reception so far has been complicated. Drawing from the nostalgia of classic agricultural gaming, such as Harvest Moon, the franchise also fully immerses players into the farming lifestyle, focusing on the realism of the industry rather than just the aesthetic part of it. 14. Baldur's Gate 3 features plenty of animal characters, and with the "speak with animals" spell, players can have full conversations with these creatures in the same way they can with humanoid races. 16. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Shadow Of Chornobyl is out today. As you may have read, it's on the buggy side. Buggier than a bucketful of locusts. Buggier than Kafka's Metamorphosis. In our S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Shadow Of Chornobyl review, wasteland wanderer James called it "easily the most borked FPS I've played in years", detailing such issues as HUD elements disappearing, stuttery performance, flashing textures and character mouths not working properly. 18. Diablo 4's recent mid-season patch significantly boosted Aberrant Cinder drops, a valuable form of currency, according to players. 21. It's brilliant, bizarre, and a little busted, but I love Stalker 2. Which is lucky, since I've spent pretty much the entire past week doing almost nothing but play it. 22. Amazon's big ****** Friday ***** event may not start up until tomorrow, but the retailer is already offering quite a few early deals for shoppers to dig into. When it comes to games, there are several on ***** there already that have caught our eye, including a little discount on Dragon Age: The Veilguard for PS5. It's currently down to $62.99, just 10% off its list price of $69.99. It's a small discount but welcome nonetheless if you're stocking up on games for yourself or trying to hunt down some gaming gifts for loved ones during the big ****** Friday ***** event. Dragon Age: The Veilguard (PS5) Drops to $62.99 at Amazon If you're in need of some convincing before jumping into this Dragon Age: The Veilguard deal, look no further than our glowing 9/10 review. Writer Leana Hafer said, "Enjoyable action combat, a fantastic cast of allies with sweeping story arcs all their own, top-notch cinematics, and moving, nuanced character writing are the wings on which this triumphant dragon soars, pulling out all the stops in a whirlwind tour of Northern Thedas and capping it with a terrific finale that’s built on memorably tough choices and consequences." As mentioned earlier, there are a few more game deals that have caught our eye at Amazon ahead of its big ****** Friday *****. One of the biggest at the moment is Star Wars Outlaws, which has dropped to $50 at the retailer for both PS5 and Xbox Series X. With Amazon's ****** Friday ***** kicking off tomorrow, there are sure to be even more exciting game deals dropping. Amazon's not the only retailer kicking the ***** event off early, either. 23. Silent Hill 2 remake developer Bloober Team is working on a fix for the shimmering issue that has plagued the PlayStation 5 Pro version of the beloved horror game. Fans who paid $699.99 for the PS5 Pro, a souped-up console that promised to bring improved graphics and performance to all PS5 titles, were disappointed to see many games, including Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and more, looked worse rather than better. Silent Hill 2 is perhaps most affected by the PS5 Pro patch, as fans were met with a slight shimmering effect over many parts of the game. Bloober Team has finally responded to one fan on X/Twitter asking if they were aware of the issue, though, saying simply: "We're working on it." No release date for an update fixing the problem was given, though as the PS5 Pro has been available for almost two weeks, fans are hoping it will come sooner rather than later. The PS5 Pro arrived November 7 as Sony's now standard mid-generation upgrade. More than 50 games received PS5 Pro specific patches upon its launch but, as this list includes Alan Wake 2 and ****** Ops 6 among others receiving complaints, it's worth proceeding with caution. In our 7/10 review of the PS5 Pro, IGN said: "The PlayStation 5 Pro is an impressive console with noticeable boosts in performance and graphics for games that take advantage of its powerful hardware. But for $700, you’ll need to think twice about whether or not the upgrade is worth the price tag." Ryan Dinsdale is an IGN freelance reporter. He'll talk about The Witcher all day.
