Lavos Prime is just around the corner in Warframe, and if you want to know when the release date is for the deadly alchemist, we’ll have that below. Along with Lavos Prime, the Cedo Prime and Dual Zoren Prime will be released, being a treat for Lavos fans and OG Warframe fans. What is the release date of Lavos Prime in Warframe? Lavos Prime will be released on February 12, 2025, on all platforms. He, along with his aforementioned weapons, will be available to farm in-game via Relics, purchasing parts off other players who farmed with Relics, or through Prime Access. Lavos Prime release time Lavos Prime should be released sometime between 10 to 11 AM EST in Warframe. Most other Prime Accesses in recent times have been released within those time windows. You will know when he drops when the red text comes up or if a small hotfix is implemented into the game’s startup. Screenshot by Destructoid How to prepare for Lavos Prime If you want Lavos Prime right as he drops, whether you’re a free-to-play player or a premium buyer, here’s what you’ll need to know. For the free-to-play route, you’ll either want to scrounge up a few hundred Platinum from trading if you want to buy his parts from other players. Otherwise, what you can do now is stock up on Syndicate medallions and Standing with other neutral Syndicates (Cetus, Fortuna, Deimos). Once you have a bunch of Standing with Syndicates, you can then buy a bunch of packs in hopes of getting the new Relics that have Lavos Prime and his weapon parts. For players who want to buy Lavos Prime outright, you can buy his Prime Access for USD 79.99, the Accessories Pack for USD 59.99, or the whole bundle for USD 138.99. Will Lavos Prime be worth it? While Lavos himself is not a top-tier Warframe, his elemental kit primes enemies easily, being great for elemental damage builds that utilize Condition Overload and Galvanized mods. His survivability is also very strong, with great synergy using **** builds and crowd-control effects. He isn’t a nuking frame, but he can still hold his own. If you want a non-meta frame with different setups, then he will be worth it. If you're chasing the meta, you may want to reconsider. There are plenty of map icons you'll come across and discover in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, but one of the more mysterious icons is the one for Shrines. From random traders to quest tipsters to fast travel waypoints, your map is always going to be full of icons, especially in towns. Most towns will also have a Shrine, however, which is usually located at the center of a village and looks like a stone birdhouse with a roof and a Jesus symbol. When you first stumble upon a Shrine, the game makes a note to say you've discovered it but doesn't offer any other details. So what exactly are Shrines used for in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2? Keep reading the guide below to find out. What are Shrines in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2? One of the many Shrines in Trosky. Screenshot by Destructoid At the start of your playthrough in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Shrines seem like they should do something. They're given a map icon and stand alone in the center of towns, which usually indicates an item of significance. Unfortunately, for the bulk of the early game, Shrines don't do anything. You can't interact with them nor will you be able to get any use of the stone objects. However, you still want to try and collect as many Shrine icons as you can, as they are quite useful later on in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Specifically, a Shrine's ability is unlocked after you gain a certain perk in the Scholarship section of your skills menu. To find the skills menu, go to your inventory, click on the "Player" tab at the top of the screen, and then go to the skills section. Here, find the Scholarship entry and click on the arrow right to the left of it. This brings up all the available perks for the Scholarship skill that you can unlock by leveling it up. Shrines unlock dedicated icons on the map. Screenshot by Destructoid The primary perk you're looking for under the Scholarship skill is called "Fundamentals of Theology." This perk allows you to pray at Shrines and other religious sites across Kuttenberg and Trosky. Praying at a Shrine gives you a buff that "can protect you from mortal injury in combat and restore 25% of your health." This buff lasts for 12 in-game hours or until you need the buff, which might be in your next combat engagement seeing as how difficult fights can be in Kingdom Come 2. To get the buff back, you need to go and pray at a Shrine again, which is why I recommended to try and uncover as many Shrine icons as possible during the early game. How to unlock the Fundamentals of Theology perk The next question you might have is how to get the Fundamentals of Theology perk so you can start praying at Shrines. Unfortunately, you won't be able to access this Scholarship perk for quite a while. You need to be level 14 at the minimum to unlock the perk and it requires you to have the Liberal Arts perk unlocked as well. The all-important Fundamentals of Theology perk. Screenshot by Destructoid The best way to start leveling up your Scholarship skill is to read as many books, letters, and other texts as you can get your hands on. Reading more levels up the skill and allows you to unlock more perks for it. While you won't be able to unlock a new perk for every Scholarship level you obtain, you will eventually get enough points to unlock the Liberal Arts and Fundamentals of Theology perks. Remember, though, you need to be at least level 14 in Scholarship. The longer you go without the Fundamentals of Theology perk, the longer Shrines have no effect whatsoever in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. So I'd advise you to hit the books and get Henry as smart as he can be. The post How to use the Shrines in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 appeared first on Destructoid. View the full article

For many their first, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 players can get their hands on the Drowner's treasure map after discovering the tragic fate of two hired hands at Rocktower Pond. But as expected, the makeshift map will be lacking a lot and instead, will offer only a cryptic look at the treasure's location. Here's where to find the Drowner's Map treasure in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. If you have yet to get the map, you can also check out its exact location by heading further down. Table of Contents:Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Drowner's Map treasure location Where to find the Drowner's Map Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Drowner's Map treasure location You can find the Drowner's Map treasure —also known as the Water Goblin's treasure— in KCD 2 by heading to a shore northeast of Nomads' Camp and parallel with the Water Goblin's Hut. To unlock the pin for the latter, just talk with Innkeeper Lawrence at Zhelejov Wagoners' Inn and ask about the news within the area. Image by Destructoid To reach the treasure quickly, head to Nomads' Camp and follow the path leading west before crossing the forest toward the trail north of it. You can also easily reach the path by heading west from Bozhena's Meadow. Once at the shore, simply follow it until you spot the vase below, which will house the treasure. Don't worry, as unlike what it's hinted to have happened to the farm hands, I don't believe the Water Goblin will come after you for getting it. Image by Destructoid Where to find and how to get the Drowner's Map You can get the Drowner's Map in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 by looting a ****** sack on the Bathing Spot's pier, located in the spot marked below. The sack will also house 3x Fine Wine bottles, 1x Roast Duck, and 138 Groschen. Although you can easily reach the area by fast traveling to Rocktower Pond and then following the path on the right, those who have yet to discover the area can reach it by heading east from Nomads' Camp. You can check out the Bathing Spot's exact location below: Image by Destructoid If you are not opposed to the idea, looting the body of the hired hand left from the pier can also net you 6.9 Groschen, as well as one Shrinking die and one Carpenter's badge of advantage, the latter which can help make up for the treasure's lack of items. Keep in mind that doing so will be considered a crime. The post How to find the Drowner’s Map treasure in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 appeared first on Destructoid. View the full article

With the launch of Episode Heresy, Destiny 2’s senior design lead on sandbox craft and former weapons feature lead, Chris Proctor, announced his departure from Bungie after a little over five years of working on the game. On Feb. 4, Chris Proctor announced on LinkedIn that he resigned from Bungie and wrapped up his last day at the company. Chris Proctor joined Bungie in 2019 as a weapons feature lead for Destiny 2 and became the sandbox craft lead in 2024, working to ensure the teams always hit the gameplay quality bar. “Well, today I did something I didn’t think would ever happen – I resigned from Bungie (ok that’s a dramatization: I resigned in December, but today was my last day). In two weeks I’ll be living in another country, and in four weeks I’ll post an update from a new role,” Proctor wrote. View the full article
While I've always gravitated towards hero shooters instead of traditional, hardcore FPS games, I've always loved Rainbow Six Siege. It has, admittedly, strayed into the fantastical over the years by giving some of its Operators extraordinary abilities, but its core breach gameplay and destructible environments give it its own unique feel. But the game has largely fallen by the wayside, struggling to compete with the likes of Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant. As Ubisoft continues to tread water after an underwhelming 2024 and the shuttering of XDefiant, Rainbow Six Siege 2 might just be what it needs - and if new leaks are correct, that's exactly what's coming next. The creators of sci-fi corridor explorer Duskers are making a "spiritual successor" to the 2016 space game. The studio revealed their plans in a video showing three prototypes they're currently working on. The working title for this one is "Humanity 2.0" and it'll see you carving up derelict ships to build your own vessel and sometimes defending that ship from pirates trying to take it over. It sounds like you'll still be the sweaty cybermaster of a bunch of glitchy drones, who now might suffer "fun personality quirks" when you install upgrades, "like not wanting to go down narrow corridors because it's now claustrophobic". Sad, busted-**** space robots just trying to get by? Yes, I'm interested. Read more View the full article

Even though 2023's Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny did well enough with critics and fans alike, and is generally better regarded than the fourth installment if you ask around, it turned out to be a box office flop with less than $400 million worldwide on a massive production budget of over $300 million. Capcom has been trying to make multiplayer Resident Evil work for more than 20 years now. It started in 2003 with RE Outbreak - flawed and fussy, that first attempt remains, weirdly, the most convincing co-op Resident Evil game in history. Operation Raccoon City wasn't very good at all. After that it was RE Resistance, and then Resident Evil ReVerse. Every game puts a different spin on multiplayer survival horror, but none of them, despite Capcom's best efforts, has ever taken off. Maybe a good multiplayer Resident Evil could still happen, but for now, ReVerse, originally launched alongside Village, is done for - the worst-rated RE game on Steam, it's being shut down and pulled from *****. The Dancing with the ****** quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 forces you to make an important decision, as Maleshov's fate lies entirely in your hands. During the quest, the Dry ****** will give you a hard decision to make. If you let him burn Maleshov, you'll have the blood of many innocent villagers on your hands. While you can refuse to do so, it will seal the fate of your beloved comrades. Let's take a look at what happens with both outcomes, which will help to narrow down your choice. What happens if you burn Maleshov in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 When you arrive at Maleshov, the Dry ****** kills a peasant and supplies you with torches to burn down the village. He believes that doing so is necessary to draw out the soldiers from the castle to save themselves during the assault. If you choose to side with Dry ******, select "Yes, the trap must be sprung" This action will be followed by Maleshov burning down as Henry tries to save as many peasants as possible. The soldiers will be drawn out from the castle, allowing you to ambush and eliminate them. Naturally, the castle will be a lot more empty once you have killed the soldiers. At a later stage, you'll encounter Istvan Toth in your dreams. You'll find yourself in Maleshov, which is in a ravaged stage, and Istvan will accuse you of being the same as him. [Hidden Content] What happens if you refuse to burn Maleshov To reject the Dry ******'s suggestion, select "No, I won't ******* the innocent". This will directly put you up against Dry ****** in a direct duel. If you fail to defeat him, Maleshov will burn. If you defeat him, the next stage of your assault begins. You'll be forced to take a stealth-based approach as there will be plenty of guards in the castle. Interestingly, this method doesn't have too many casualties, as Dry ****** warned. No named characters die with your action, and only a few mercenaries might get killed. The final sequence concludes with you trying to persuade Von Bergow to leave the tower or you having to assault it. Either way, Maleshov will be spared of its misfortune if you choose to refuse the Dry ******. I chose to spare Maleshov. This decision made my quest harder, but I play my video games with conscience, and so should you.
