Reaching Yumemizuki Mizuki’s best build in Genshin Impact is a vital step toward unlocking her full potential and optimizing her role in team comps. Mizuki is a 5-star character introduced with Version 5.4. She deals Anemo DMG in combat and wields a catalyst, which allows her to deal Elemental DMG with her Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks. The first reports about Yumemizuki Mizuki’s kit in Genshin Impact indicated she could operate as a buffer and healer, but upon her official reveal by HoYoverse, it’s been confirmed she is a main DPS focused on Swirl Elemental Reactions. Would you pay $22 for a single cosmetic? No, this isn’t some limited-time thing we’re talking about—it’s just a new skin in Marvel Rivals. That’s exactly what’s causing a stir in the community, as some of the latest skin bundles come with a price tag that’s making even the most devoted players wince. Each bundle includes a skin, an MVP animation, a spray, and a nameplate. That sounds decent… until you compare it to the game’s Battle Pass, which costs less than half of a single skin and offers ten skins plus a heap of other cosmetics. The math here isn’t mathing for a lot of players, and the frustration has boiled over into Reddit discussions, where one post summed it up perfectly: “I freaking love the new Luna skin but holy moly, $22 for a skin is INSANE!” View the full article
I knew going into Civilization 7 that some changes had been made to its combat system, but I reserved judgment on that until I played the game for myself. Even after playing for several hours, I was somewhat torn on the changes, and I still haven’t fully made up my mind. As a long-time fan of the series, I could appreciate what they were going for, but also I wasn’t sure I liked this new style of fighting compared to the old one. View the full article
I love the style of classic '90s RPGs. All the old-school Diablo, Fallout, and Baldur's Gate games have such a delightful visual style that definitely shows its age, but still holds up because of how intentional it all looks. Everything feels grimy and rusty, but teeming with life at the same time. This is the exact presentation Halls of Torment is going for. The Vampire Survivors-inspired horde game is one of the most beloved of its kind on Steam, and now that 1.0 has been here for a while, we've got our first major update with plenty of free additions. Things may be quiet on the XCOM 3 front, but we're not short of fantastic turn-based RPGs. From the mighty Baldur's Gate 3 to 2024's joyous Tactical Breach Wizards, we've been spoiled for choice. Just out on Steam, new roguelike strategy game Astral Throne might become the PC's answer to Fire Emblem, much as Wargroove did for Advance Wars. It offers full party customization with dozens of classes and hundreds of skills, those delicious weapon triangles, and even an intriguing narrative with multiple potential endings to discover. Nothing beats the feeling of a good grappling hook. Zipping into the shadows as Batman. Tethering people to helicopters in Just Cause. Flying across the map in seconds in Titanfall 2. The tool is, quite frankly, the best movement option in whatever game you're playing, as it exemplifies complete freedom to maneuver as you see fit. That's why I was immediately drawn to Grapples Galore while browsing Steam, as the free-to-play arena shooter has just left early access with a huge new update. Read the rest of the story... Modding has been a beloved pastime ever since The Sims 1 was first available. Now, with The Sims 1 Legacy Collection, it is exciting to see that many of those original mods that people created in 2000 are still usable. These mods can range from giving more outfit possibilities to providing hacks to instantly upgrade skills and relationship bonuses. Of course, as is the case with any mod for any game, people should always be careful to make sure that their mods are coming from a reputable website and install mods one at a time to test for crashes. Path of Exile 2is full of unique items that can help strengthen builds, but the Prism of Belief is one of the most underrated. Endgame builds in PoE 2 can often feel like minor upgrades, but these minor upgrades add up to give incredible strength. If I were presented with the opportunity to purchase and place into my disk drive a very obviously cursed CD from 1995 I would simply not do so. This is, of course, what sets me apart from the protagonist of Forbidden Solitaire, a person who would put a cursed disk into their computer and pay the requisite karmic price. (What we have in common is that our PCs still have a disk drive.).. Read more.View the full article
If you’re looking to win a cultural victory in Civilization 7, there are certain Wonders you will want to seek out. Note that while some are helpful for winning a cultural victory, they have specific requirements that make them less of a one-size-fits-all option. Also, the Wonders I recommend shouldn’t be considered ranked in any specific order, as their efficacy can change based on your specific in-game strategy and situation. View the full article
