A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail is potentially teasing the two featured characters set to release with the game's Version 3.3 update. Sid Meier's Civilization 7 is packed full of new and interesting mechanics, including a new feature for city development called "overbuilding." This mechanic lets leaders place new buildings on top of old ones from previous Ages, and can sometimes trigger certain Civ 7 narrative events or even award artifacts. Overbuilding is one of many gameplay features included in the latest installment of the franchise that results from the new Ages structure, which divides a campaign into three distinct parts. My expectations are that Skirk will not be a Cryo DPS in Genshin Impact, despite leaks and speculation indicating she will take on that role once she is released as a playable character. Skirk is a character that was introduced during the conclusion of Fontaine’s main story arc. She is Childe’s master and a seasoned swordswoman capable of dwelling in the Abyss. At the time, she only served as an NPC who revealed information about the game’s plot and backstory, but HoYoverse has teased Skirk among the new Genshin Impact characters set to become playable within the next few updates. Despite some very strong challengers in Balatro, Metaphor ReFantazio, UFO 50, and Zenless Zone Zero, Helldivers 2 was my ultimate game of the year for 2024. It's a beautiful, bombastic thing; a masterful reconstruction of one of my favorite co-op games in a whole-new perspective that gives it fresh life. While its first year featured somewhat of a reception rollercoaster, constant updates from developer Arrowhead and the arrival of the Illuminate have brought Helldivers 2 back in style, and you can grab it cheaper than it's ever been on Steam - but be quick about it.
