  11. Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless is about surviving in a world full of train robberies, bank vault heists, and hip-hop artists making things interesting. Part of becoming strong in this world is visiting ****** Market locations and picking up helping items to set yourself apart from other players. Fortnite ****** Market locations map Screenshot by Destructoid During Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2, you'll find four ****** markets near the following POIs: North of Crime City South of Seaport City Magic Mosses Once you arrive at any ****** Market location and delve into its underbelly, you'll find a mix of equipment, from rare and legendary-tier weapons to medkits and shield potions for extra protection. Many items within the ****** Market require Dill Bits to buy, but some are also available for gold bars. Screenshot by Destructoid The rarity and value of each ****** Market item varies between shops. Below are some examples of weapons and consumables you can buy: Rare and Legendary Sticky Grenade Launchers Collateral Damage Assault Rifles Pump and Auto Shotguns Mammoth Pistol Shield Potions Medkits Thermite Boons The items you find at ****** Markets depend on your location. While the Crime City ****** Market has mostly shotguns and assault rifles, the Seaport City one has more peculiar items like Plasma Burst Lasers, Pulse Scanners, and even a Mythical Sniper Rifle. You can find anything from low-cost consumables to weapons that cost nearly 1,000 gold bars, giving you an easy way to spend some in-game cash if you're nearing your limit. You can also collect Boons at ****** Markets alongside weapons, medkits, and potions. During my rounds, I found a Gold Rush Boon at the Crime City ****** Market for one Dill Bit, while the Magic Mosses one had an Adrenaline Rush one. If you want to quickly finish any quests that require Boons and have some Dill Bits to spare, ****** Markets are the way to go. Otherwise, you can pick up some weapons and instantly gain an advantage against anyone you fight against. 18. Persona and Shin Megami Tensei composer Shoji Meguro is making a turn-based sci-fi RPG about private military companies gunning through the ashes of a nuclear war. He's working with Ilya Kuvshinov, the illustrator who created character designs for Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2045, and Lotus Juice, a rapper who has contributed sick beats to any number of Personae. So if nothing else Guns Undarkness is probably going to look and sound quite fancy. But how does it play? Meguro has made his name as a musician: I have no idea how well that expertise translates to designing combat systems. It's something to think about while you watch and listen to the below trailer for the game's first demo, out on 24th February. Read more View the full article

  20. The beautiful thing about deckbuilding roguelikes is how much variety there is in the genre. Balatro proved that you can even take a classic like poker and turn it into a whole new thing, but sometimes you might want something a little more out there, and Deck of Haunts does just that. Right off the bat it'll remind you of tabletop games like Mansions of Madness, where you're trying to navigate a haunted house, except in this time around you are the haunted house. Neat twist! 23. A lawsuit between Sony and a fired Bungie director is getting messy. Sony have revealed the text messages sent by the former director, which they say are proof of his "predatory behaviour" and justify their decision to dismiss him. Christopher Barrett was removed from his position last year in a dramatic reshuffle and it was later revealed that the reasons included alleged "inappropriate" and "unwanted" messages to female staff at the studio. In response to the allegations, Barrett sued Bungie and parent company Sony for breach of contract and defamation, claiming that the investigation that led to his dismissal was a "sham". The real reason for his firing, he says, was to stop a big bonus payout of over $45 million. But lo, the Streisand effect has been initiated. His lawsuit has invited Sony to roll up their sleeves and dip their arms into their big gritty bag of exhibits. Examples of the texts he allegedly sent to employees have been revealed in a court filing. Read more View the full article
