In Avowed, there is one feature to your character that is not optional to add but can be turned on and off. This is the Godlike feature, usually some kind of tentacle or nautical-themed addition to your character’s head. While it has to be there, you can choose to turn the display off, although the NPC’s will still react as if they can see it even with it turned off. And it actually looks pretty cool, but there’s one downside that has nothing to do with any narrative in the game. View the full article

The Marvel universe is as big as you can imagine it, with countless heroes, villains, locations, and iconic encounters throughout its 60-plus year history. Marvel Rivals, so far, has done a good job harnessing the huge library of content that the IP boasts, with NetEase Games building the hero shooter around a chess-like battle between Doctor Doom and the 2099 variant of himself, using the multiverse as their own game. On this chess board of the multiverse, Doom and Doom 2099 can and will pull from anywhere to fill out the game’s roster, and it’s given fans no shortage of inspiration with who they’d like to see added next, alongside characters that have been mentioned within files as leaked additions. The embargo for Monster Hunter Wilds reviews has lifted ahead of its February 27 release, and the consensus is pretty positive. Wilds is within striking distance of a 90% score on both Metacritic and Open Critic, though there are rumblings that it may have been overly streamlined compared to prior games in the series—that was PC Gamer reviewer Lincoln Carpenter's primary critique in his otherwise very positive Monster Hunter Wilds review. Here's a general spread of scores:.. Read more.View the full article
You might've seen it coming from our testing with Monster Hunter Wilds' benchmark, but the modest hardware of Valve's Steam Deck isn't up to the task of running the game at anything close to playable framerates. In fact, it barely runs at all, though it is possible to at least boot up Wilds and tinker with its settings, which I did in the vain hope of seeing the framerate counter reach the 30 fps mark. Alas, it was not to be... Read more.View the full article
