Many strategies in League of Legends have changed over the years due to Riot’s constant updates. One strategy, however, is still prevalent today, and players can’t figure out why it is still a thing in 2025. In the early years of League, it was customary for the top or bottom lane to leash the jungler. This was to help the jungler take the buff quicker and keep them healthy so they could move on to their other camps quicker. Certain junglers needed the leash if they were in a relatively difficult matchup and needed to get out to the rest of the map quicker to avoid falling behind. And while Riot has made level-one clearing much easier, players still demand leashes in 2025. View the full article
Today's modern survival games all have their own unique twists. In DayZ, it's the realistic weapon mechanics and the complex health system. Project Zomboid is renowned for its sheer scale, while Dying Light has its parkour, and State of Decay 2 has a great co-op mode. But Urban Dead predates them all. Text-based and playable entirely in your browser, especially back in 2005, it was beloved because it was accessible, free, and deceptively deep - it looks simple, but you can get lost in Urban Dead for months. Or at least, you could. After two decades, one of PC's most legendary zombie survival games is about to shut down. Read the rest of the story... View the full article

Marvel Rivals sets itself apart from other hero shooters with its highly destructible environments, letting players break walls, ceilings, and entire structures to shift the tide of battle. In theory, this should make the game more strategic—removing an enemy’s cover or creating shortcuts for teammates sounds like a solid way to shake things up. But in practice, one of the game’s biggest map-changing features has fallen flat. The mechanic that was expected to make destruction more tactical hasn’t really lived up to expectations. Players assumed it would be crucial for setting up game-winning plays, but the reality is that most of them barely touch it. View the full article

The first Hunter Rank 2 small monster you will need to hunt down in Monster Hunter Wilds is the Kranodath. Here is the best location to Slay 6 Kranodath for the March of the Kranodath quest in Monster Hunter Wilds. Screenshot by Destructoid Best location to Slay Kranodath in the Basin When it comes time to Slay 6 Kranodath for the Mark of the Kranodath optional quest in Monster Hunter Wilds, the best location to find them is in and around Region 12 in the Basin area. There are several different altitude locations in which the Kranodath can be found roaming around Region 12 in the Basin. If you have your map oriented in the right direction, Region 12 is in the northwestern side of the Basin, a more wide-open area with different terrain levels. The Kranodath look like velociraptors, with a big frill around their head area. You need to slay 6 Kranodath in total for the Mark of the Kranodath quest, and they typically travel in groups of three. This means you'll need to find two separate groups of them for the quest, but that shouldn't be an issue as they are plentifully available in the area. They are considered Bird Wyverns and can be found in the oil basin area hunting Gelidron. After slaying the Kranodath required for this quest, make sure you harvest the carcass. The Kranodath has five total Low Rank Materials rewards that can be acquired from them, including: Charred Oilbone (Target Reward: 20%) Kranodath Skull (Target Reward: 30%, Carving: 75%) Krano Copper (Dropped: 100%) Sharp Fang (Target Reward: 30%, Carving: 25%) Dragonite Ore (Target: 20%) Because the Kranodath can drop Krano Copper on the ground when attacked, make sure you check the area before moving on to loot this valuable resource that it used for crafting various Decorations. It isn't always obvious what to do or who to reason with in Avowed, and during the "Don't Look Down" quest you'll run into a couple of Thirdborn citizens who very much want to send a message to Aedyr by killing you. In Shatterscarp, you'll eventually run across a character named Moapo who will give you a stash of supplies to deliver to some Dreamscourge hunters posted in Tago's Tower in Shark's Teeth Pass. Unfortunately, the area he sends you to is completely riddled with traps and explosives, and it becomes pretty clear that Moapo might've had some ulterior motives. View the full article
