When is the Frostpunk 1886 release date? Frostpunk 2 may have taken the spotlight, but 11 Bit hasn't forgotten about the 2018 original. In fact, the studio is rebuilding the entire game from the bottom up. Like 11 Bit's breakthrough survival game This War of Mine, the first Frostpunk was built using the proprietary Liquid Engine. Seven years later, however, and Liquid is no longer being updated, improved, or developed - 11 bit says it needs a new platform to keep its smash hit feeling fresh. Enter Frostpunk 1886. What are the best Oblivion Remastered mods? Closing shut the jaws of Oblivion is a herculean task. While the Virtuos team has smashed its modern recreation of Cyrodiil out of the park, there are always ways to make your journey a little easier and enhance the devs' immaculate work a little more. It's modding time, hero. While Bethesda says Oblivion Remastered doesn't officially support mods, this is most likely an acknowledgement that it won't receive a Creation Kit like its open-world cousin, Starfield. It's a toughie, after all, considering the remaster runs a hybrid of the original Gamebryo engine and Unreal Engine 5. The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is now live, and it has a fair amount of differences from the older version. There's a gap of almost two decades between the OG release and the new one. There are some amazing features that are part of the Remastered Edition, and this guide will help you get on top of everything you need to know about it. Unreal Engine V Image via Bethesda The new version is a blend of the new and old-gen. Bethesda has gone with the the original engine when it comes to the core gameplay systems. However, players will enjoy significantly better visuals thanks to the superior capabilities of the Unreal Engine 5. While the requirements for the new version is higher compared to the older version of the game, players have received better graphics. The better graphics look sharper and crisper compared to the dated OG version (which was good for its time, but will be considered as dated in 2025). Fresh content with the Deluxe Edition The Deluxe Edition brings new content available for players who decide to spend extra. The bonus content includes quests for Akatosh and Mohrunas Dragon armors, weapons, and horse armor sets. You'll also receive two fresh sets of weapons - Weapons of Orders and Weapons of Cataclysm. Story Expansions Screenshot by Bethesda The Digital version also packs in the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine digital story expansions available for all. These expansions are available as separate downloadable content. These expansions were previously released with the original Oblivion game, but players had to wait (unlike now). Overall, the expansions are perfect for those who are looking to get a full experience, and get additional hours of gameplay. Third-person view You play how you want. While you can always stick to the classic experience of the 2006 version, there's a new Third-person view to enjoy as well. This different POV of playing the TES 4 is well-thought idea from Bethesda. In the early hours, it seems to work pretty well. New Combat Animations Image by Destructoid While I have always loved the combat mechanics of The Elder Scrolls games, Oblivion Remastered has fresh combat animations that uses a system that works on feedback. Since she can perform coordinated attacks even when off-field after casting her Elemental Skill, this set will significantly boost her damage. Tenacity of the Millelith Screenshot by Destructoid If you wish to play Escoffier more as a support, you can also go for the Tenacity of the Millelith artifact set. While the HP% 2-pc set bonus will be useless on her, she can buff her party members' ATK with the 4-pc set bonus. With the right stats on the artifact, you probably also wouldn't lose out on Escoffier's personal damage. It already has the highest Base ATK among the weapons in the game, and on top of that, it provides a ton of ATK bonuses from both its second stat and passive. Furthermore, the equipping characters gain a decent amount of Elemental DMG bonus, so Escoffier won't lose out on a lot of overall damage output. However, you will want to focus more on CRIT stats when farming artifacts. Deathmatch Screenshot by Destructoid Deathmatch is another great weapon choice for Escoffier. It has a CRIT Rate second stat for consistent critical hits. Furthermore, the weapon's passive increases the character's ATK, so it will help Escoffier with her healing too. However, Deathmatch is a Battle Pass weapon, and buying it specifically for the Fontainian chef is not worth it. But go for it if you already have the 4-star Polearm. Tamayuratei no Ohanashi Screenshot by Destructoid Tamayuratei no Ohanashi is one of the best F2P weapons for Escoffier. It has an Energy Recharge second stat, which will help you with smoother rotation. Furthermore, the weapon's passive gives a huge ATK boost, increasing Escoffier's healing output. Tamayuratei no Ohanashi is an event weapon from version 5.5, so if you missed the event, it's better to look for another F2P option. Favonius Lance Screenshot by Destructoid Favonius Lance is another good F2P option for the renowned chef from Fontaine. While it won't increase Escoffier's overall damage, it will allow you to play her as a battery for the team. Talent priority Escoffier's talent priority is pretty straightforward. If you want a healer build, level up her Elemental Burst first, followed by her Elemental Skill.
