When you launch Rematch for the first time, a little pop-up will warn you that the game is "best experienced with a controller." IGN Store has partnered with Bethesda Softworks and world-renowned artist Dave Rapoza to create Hellwalkers - the latest piece in IGN’s exclusive museum-quality IGN Artist Series. Available only on IGN Store, Hellwalkers - IGN Artist Series 004 vividly captures the menace and power of the legendary Doomslayer, as made possible by the equally legendary artist Dave Repoza, a lifelong Doom fan himself. IGN Store has 400 premium weight art prints ($70) and 100 premium acrylic art prints ($275) - both measuring a bold 18 x 24 inches. These pieces are brutal, iconic, and highly-collectible. Each print is individually numbered and signed by Dave Rapoza and the acrylic print is truly fine art, backed on gator board and featuring a Certificate of Authenticity (laser-etched on the Doomslayer’s Shield Saw). Id software has proven for more than 30 years that Doom truly is eternal. Since its world-shaping debut in 1993 to the epic, weighty, powerful play style of The Dark Ages, the Doom franchise’s Doomslayer has stood at the forefront of gaming as an immortal icon. This IGN Artist Series is a must-own for any serious Doom fan, and will not be reprinted once it is gone. The piece is destined to become a collector’s item, and is a perfect edition to any Doom fan’s wall. Dave Rapoza is a self-taught artist who grew up in Carver, MA. For nearly 20 years his stunning artwork has been turning heads. Rapoza’s artwork has graced Marvel Comics covers, Magic: the Gathering, Paizo Publishing projects and a huge range of others. He has also contributed art to Diablo IV, League of Legends and the Witcher 3, among many other games. "My first experience with Doom was playing the original in my neighbor’s kitchen on their ancient computer—it made a big impression on me, especially the music and definitely helped spark my love for games,” Repoza said. “Whenever I take on something like this, I try to tap into what made me a fan in the first place and boil that down into a single image. It’s a fun challenge, and I’m proud of how this one turned out. Hope you enjoy it! The IGN Artist Series is IGN’s love letter to the pop culture icons we all love to watch, play, and discuss. Available for under a day, IGN Artist Series 001, 002, and 003 was produced in partnership with Bethesda and Amazon Prime Video and featured Fallout’s The Ghoul, Maximus, and Lucy MacLean, from artist Kevin Tong. The basic premise of Chrono Odyssey, a gigantic fantasy MMO with a seamless open world, is far from unique. However, the game's time travel theme and its science-fantasy premise, where an eldritch force straight out of Alien hits a medieval world, give a special flavor in a crowded space. Evidently, Steam players have found it memorable. Since the playtest opened, Chrono Odyssey has hit an in-game peak of 64,886 players (as of publication), which is impressive for a closed playtest from an unproven developer. The end credits of Deltarune Chapter 4 reveal that the story will continue with Chapter 5 in 2026. Serving as a spin-off to the wildly popular 2015 role-playing indie game Undertale from developer Toby Fox, Deltarune tells the story of a human teenager named Kris who lives in a town inhabited by peaceful monsters. Rather than a proper sequel, the story of Deltarune occurs in parallel to its predecessor, allowing a number of familiar faces to make an appearance in the follow-up to Undertale. The Harvest Moonname is still synonymous with the farming sim genre, but the next release to bear the title doesn't stand a chance of competing with Stardew Valley. When Stardew Valley first hit the scene in 2016, it was the up-and-comer, building on obvious Harvest Moon inspiration to deliver a compelling experience with enough strengths of its own. Nearly a decade later, Stardew Valley has plenty of players who have never even touched a Harvest Moon game, and it's become one of the gold standards of comparison for any new farming sim. It's hard to believe that 2025 is halfway over, but there's still plenty of big game releases to look forward to before the calendar flips over once more. July 2025 is full of some big-name games, along with some promising new IP that players are hoping will fulfill their potential and become a new smash hit. But with so many games and so little time, choices must be made as to which ones get your money and attention. Screenshot by Destructoid Whether you're a sporty gamer and looking to pick up Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 (July 8) or EA Sports College Football 26 (July 10), or an FPS fan and want to dive into Destiny 2: Edge of Fate (July 15) or Killing Floor 3 (July 24), July 2025 has just about every kind of gamer covered. We'd be remiss if not mentioning Donkey Kong Bananza on July 17, or the Pacman-inspired Shadow Labryinth on July 18, so even nostalgic gamers are going to be eating well. And if you're into some of the more cozier stuff, Tales of the Shire is dropping on July 29, the same day as Grounded 2. Basically, there's a lot of fun games in the month to choose from. These games are all on top of existing titles getting new updates and live service content, like season three of Marvel Rivals, season five of Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6, and many others, so if you're looking to avoid the rising temperatures and pump up the air conditioning while playing something new, July 2025 may be stacked. And now, I ask you, dear reader, which of July 2025's new games are you most looking forward to picking up?
