You might have seen a new name around the homepage this past week: Mark Warren. It might also be that you recognise the name if you're a reader of RPS sibling site VG247, where Mark has already been plying his trade for several years. Well, we've adopted Mark here at RPS, as one might adopt a puppy if the puppy really liked mods, RPGs and Helldivers 2. Come say hello in the comments. Read more View the full article
Вышедший в 2012 году лутер-шутер Borderlands 2 от Gearbox многими фанатами считается лучшим в серии, однако стартовавшая накануне раздача обернулась для игры «крайне отрицательными» недавними отзывами в Steam. Что произошло?View the full article
It's been a few days now since Mario Kart World's launch, so it should have been more than enough time to declare some loyalties for the new batch of characters and pick out which is your favorite, right? Now I can already see where this is probably going to go. I'm expecting the Cow army to stampede in from Moo Moo Meadows and completely dominate the poll, which is why I have decided to allow multiple choice this time around so we can get an idea of at least who will come in second place. There are over 24 new characters to find and unlock, with most of the new ones being tied to the new Kamek in-game item, which turns you into a random NPC when used. If used in the correct place, you can unlock the character to use permanently later down the line as well. For me, I have a few I like. It's great to see Hammer Bros. as a playable character finally, and it feels like this one was a long time coming. Spike, I know, is a fan-favorite character people have wanted to play for ages in Mario Kart as well, so I'm sure he will get a lot of love either in the poll or the comments below. Loads of my friends have been hyped to try and unlock him as quickly as possible. Nabbit also strangely makes its Mario Kart debut and has been one of the standout new Mario characters to get a lot of love, even being a playable character in Super Mario Wonder recently. I am super curious, though, to hear some of your favorites, so if you clicked on the poll to vote above, be sure to leave a comment down below to explain some of your picks, especially if it's some of the weirder characters like Fish Bone, Snowman, etc. What made them stand out to you!? Persona 4 Remake — one of the worst-kept secrets in video games — is reportedly set for an official reveal during Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase. Both Windows Central and MP1st reported that the so-far unannounced game will finally get confirmed at the Xbox showcase this Sunday, June 8. While Atlus’ Persona 4 Remake will be announced during the Xbox Games Showcase, it’s set for launch across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. A Nintendo Switch 2 version remains up in the air. Persona 4 Remake has endured a number of remarkable leaks from voice actors who have said they are not in the game. Last month, three of the original voice actors said they weren’t coming back for Persona 4 Remake — despite Persona 4 Remake not being announced yet. That includes Yosuke Hanamura voice actor Yuri Lowenthal, who took to BlueSky to say he would not be reprising his role for "the Persona 4 remake." You know, the one that no one's officially announced yet. "And for those who keep asking, no, I will not be returning as Yosuke for the Persona 4 remake," said Lowenthal in a since-deleted post. "I asked. Maybe I even begged, but they don’t want me to come back." Two more actors from the original game subsequently spoke up, saying they wouldn't reprise their roles. Erin Fitzgerald, the English voice of Chie Satonaka, said she hadn't been asked to come back. And then Amanda Winn Lee chimed in to say she wasn't coming back as Yukiko Amagi. There have been rumors to this tune bubbling up over the last year, with a recent domain registration fueling hope that its announcement might be coming soon. Xbox Games Showcase 2025 will be livestreamed on Sunday, June 8, starting at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern / 6pm *** time. Xbox Games Showcase 2025 will offer a look at upcoming titles from across Microsoft’s first-party studios, Microsoft said, “in addition to incredible new titles from our third-party partners across the globe.” It seems likely Persona 4 Remake is among them. Does Elden Ring Nightreign's bird-bodied Guardian have a human face hidden somewhere on his feathery body? It's a question people have been thinking about, and by "people" I mean a small subset of Elden Ring obsessives who like to watch the game being picked apart 3D model by 3D model. Thanks to a prolific Souls modder/dataminer, I can provide you with an answer. In their latest video, Zullie The Witch - who's previously solved various Souls mysteries and modded an Armored Core into Elden Ring - has unmasked Nightreign's crop of nightfarers like they're Scooby-Doo villians. Most of their faces look how you'd expect, but there are a couple of noteworthy cases that I think it's worth you knowing about. Read more View the full article

Borderlands 2 is currently free to keep on Steam until June 8, but its recent reviews are mostly negative due to an ongoing review bombing from players concerned about its terms of service. This follows an earlier upset among Borderlands likers because of Gearbox exec and unstoppable poster of words ****** Pitchford, who recently said a rather inconsiderate thing about Borderlands 4’s pricing and then said some slightly less inconsiderate things about Borderlands 4’s pricing. Ultron's Battle Matrix Protocol event rules in Marvel Rivals, explained If you're not familiar with other games that follow a similar format, this event might be a bit tricky to navigate. Here are the event rules and a breakdown of how this mode works to help you work through it. Select six heroes from a randomly generated pool to choose from. You won't have access to every character in Marvel Rivals. At the start of each round, you get 15 Tokens to spend during the preparation phase. Each round begins with the preparation phase. During this phase, you can purchase Modules, swap out team members for new heroes, and adjust your team's placement on the board. Next comes the battle phase. As the name hints, your team then enters battle against another team created by an enemy player. Whichever player's team is the last one standing wins the round. During the round, you can use your Ultron Drone to help out your team. Matches continue until your health reaches zero, which means you're out, or all other players reach zero, in which case you win. You lose some health each time you lose a match. This process repeats on an indefinite loop until only one player remains. If you lose, you can leave and claim all your points and rewards without having to stay for the full match. Your overall goal is to be the last team standing. Purchase modules, adjust your team, and move your players around as needed to ensure victory. You get points regardless of whether you win or lose, so don't worry too much if you're not doing great.
