  1. Despite the influx of negative reviews from players and critics, MindsEye appears to be selling well, at least in the ***. According to new physical sales data for last week, MindsEye is one of the best-selling games in the country. As expected, Mario Kart World and EA Sports FC 25 dominated the charts, but rather surprisingly, MindsEye managed to sell more copies than Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, Breath of the Wild, and many more last week. 2. Remedy Entertainment's newly released spin-off of 2019's Control, FBC: Firebreak, has not been received well initially by players. The three-play, co-op, first-person shooter is Remedy's first foray into live-service gaming, and marks the studio's debut in self-publishing. View the full article
  3. Date Everything! has a massive roster of characters you can fall in love with, grow to hate, or simply befriend. They're called Dateables, and trying to find and meet all of them is a pretty daunting task since many of them are well hidden. Each character is incredibly unique, so you don't want to miss out on meeting any of them. Finding them is much more doable once you know where to look, so here are all of the Dateables you can meet in Date Everything! and where to find each one. All Date Everything! 4. While GPU prices are still jumping around in a state of chaos in the US right now, prices in the *** are not just settling, but even dropping below MSRP. We've already seen the RTX 5060 Ti and 5070 dip below Nvidia's recommended pricing in the ***, and now the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti can be bought for £699.99, which is a good £30 below the £729 MSRP. At that price, this Nvidia offering is absolutely the best GPU to buy in this sector of the graphics card market, putting it in direct competition with the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT. Although the latter ostensibly launched at a $599 / £569, it costs a lot more in the real world, with even *** prices settling at around £629, despite stable stock levels. If it's a choice between the 9070 XT and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, the latter has the superior spec. Read the rest of the story... 6. I find Fortnite's desperation to be the everything game both fascinating and overwhelming. There's always something new for you to do around the corner, some new game mode that's attempting to tap into current trends of whatever it is that kids are into at any given moment. Currently, on the younger audience side of things with Lego Fortnite, Epic Games are launching Expeditions, a new wave-based mode that looks like a bit of a blend between a hero shooter and Left 4 Dead. 8. Earlier this week, the makers of the popular Mig Flash cartridge, which allows users to play Switch games loaded via an SD card without modifying the console itself, issued a firmware update enabling the cards to run original Switch games on the Switch 2. Since then, though, multiple Mig Flash users are reporting that they've seen their Switch 2 consoles banned from Nintendo's online servers, even in cases where the devices were only used to run backups of legitimate games the users purchased themselves. "My Switch 2 test has been banned after using the Mig [Flash] with perfectly legal dumps of my own cartridges, so it would seem that Nintendo can detect something," popular hacking news account Switch Tools posted on social media Monday (along with a follow-up showing a stack of legitimate Switch games they said they had backed up using the device). "I strongly recommend that you do not use the Mig [Flash], it was already very risky to use but it is even more so on Switch 2." My Switch 2 test has been banned, after using the mig switch with perfectly legal dumps of my own cartridges, so it would seem that Nintendo can detect something Similar reports on reddit are starting to come in.[Hidden Content] I strongly… [Hidden Content] — SwitchTools (@SwitchTools) June 16, 2025 The insistence that the ban came while using "perfectly legal dumps of my own cartridges" is important here. Nintendo has long used certificates with robust cryptographic signatures to identify when individual copies of Switch games are being shared for the purposes of piracy. If Nintendo notices the same cryptographic signature on security certificates being used by hundreds of different consoles and accounts, for instance, the company can be relatively sure that all those users are engaging in piracy. 9. "Factory builder with Noita-style pixel physics" is a pitch even more calculated to make me flee screaming than "game in which you die in very small caves", but I'm writing up Sandustry anyway, because Dune: Awakening came out this month, and as such, all sand-based games gain +20 press appeal. 12. One of the most iconic and, frankly, my favorite Counter-Strike 2 skins is coming to a new SteelSeries mouse collection. The Dragon Lore Aerox 3 Wireless mouse and QcK XXL mousepad mark the first time this CS2 skin has been reproduced on PC gaming peripherals, and they're a must-have for any CS2 fan. While it doesn't feature on our best gaming mouse list, the Steelseries Aerox 3 Wireless is still a top tier mouse that's ideal for CS2 thanks to its lightweight build, long-lasting battery life, and durable switches rated for 80 million clicks (that's a lot of missed AWP shots). Urban warfare's the thing in the shooter at the moment, with the divers having just resisted a big bug invasion of a bunch of cities. 16. We've already had our first peek at what The Witcher 4 could look like thanks to an Unreal Engine 5 tech demo. It got us thinking about the Witcher 4 system requirements, and where gaming PC demands could be by the time CD Projekt Red's next epic RPG is due to release. Now, let's be clear right at the top that these predictions are based on two things: Witcher 4's recently shown tech demo, and the sky-high demands we're already seeing from some major PC launches. We can't imagine you'll need the best graphics card to run the game at lower settings, but if you're aiming for high performance at 4K, well, you might have to start saving up now. Please excuse my very whimsical Broadway introduction to Aether & Iron, a sci-fantasy RPG from an alternate 1930s in which New York has taken a turn for the Bioshock Infinite, soaring through the clouds care of fancy “aether” technology. It’s inspired by art deco and 1930s detective comics, features a turn-based combat system involving getaway cars, and is the work of a team that includes former Ubisoft scribe Justin Cummings.
