  1. Securement Silos in Once Human are a fantastic way to quickly rack up those *******-to-find resources link Energy Links and Stardust both solo and with a team. Securement Silo Phi is the second one you will come across in your Once Human journey, and it contains a few hidden bosses and secrets. How to find Securement Silo PhiThis is the second of the Securement Silos you should be looking to hit. I would recommend around level 25 in Once Human before really getting into it. Like most of these, you can go in earlier if you’re playing with some friends. The mini-bosses are a challenge, but nothing too bad.Screenshot: PC InvasionYou will find Securement Silo Phi to the East of the Greywater Industrial Zone settlement in the Iron River region of the map. It is a ***** on the side of a cliff face, and to begin the area, simply walk right in.Securement Silo Phi walkthroughBefore you stroll into the Silo, ensure sure you have some decent weapons, healing items, and ...View the full article
  2. The deck-fixing roguelikelike poker of Balatro is chuffing excellent, no doubt, but my main criticism has been that the higher difficulty modes are just a bit boring. Having beat them myself, I didn't find them a fun or interesting challenge as much as an annoying one that required too much to go right. I'm glad to hear that they're being tweaked in an upcoming patch, which you can now test in a public beta on Steam, and even the lowest difficulty setting will be tweaked. Other changes include improved (hopefully) Steam Deck performance, balance tweaks, and better Joker-related Tags. Read more View the full article
  3. The developer of Balatro, LocalThunk, has launched the first major update for the game this week. Public testers can now access Balatro's 1.0.1 version, while the general public will have to wait about a week before the release, provided everything goes according to plan. The developer indicated the update may be delayed depending on the testers' feedback. View the full article

  6. When Microsoft ***** off 1,900 staff from its gaming arm eariler this year, one of those affected was Devann "LadyDevann" McCarthy. Since she was ***** off from Bethesda, the former Fallout 76 community manager has been busy planning out what's next for her, and says she doubts she'd have dealt with being let go as well if it hadn't been for the support of the Fallout community. While everyone that's been let go by the likes of Microsoft, PlayStation and the far too large list of other companies in the games industry that've cut staff over the past little while is important, McCarthy's dismissal was arguably more noticiable than most, simply due to the huge outpouring of love she recieved from the community she helped cultivate. Thankfully, in the months since that point, it seems like the support from Fallout fans for the ex-CM hasn't let up. Speaking to VG247 for an upcoming feature, McCarthy outlined how the Fallout community has helped her stay positive as she's worked through what, naturally, sounds like it's been a time of substantial change and upheaval in her life. "The community has been so supportive, they really have stayed right next to me and gone out of their way to make me feel cared for," she said, "I still get messages from them checking in on me and seeing how I am doing, and I've been getting a lot more visitors to my C.A.M.P. in-game!" 8. Gigantic: Rampage Edition is a unique hybrid: part MOBA and part Hero Shooter (it literally says ‘MOBA Hero Shooter’ on the Steam store). If you’re like me, that description immediately makes you think of Overwatch crossed with League of Legends. It’s bold, but Gigantic merges these genres and its own ideas into an enjoyable multiplayer experience.Out with the old, in the with the newGigantic: Rampage Edition is unique, as the original Gigantic ***** an unceremonious ****** a year after going live in 2018. 9. Heroes of Arkesia, Nearly a year ago the first community emote design competition accompanied Maykoko fest, and we’re excited to announce that a new competition will be returning, starting today! This year, the theme will be ‘Lost Ark Characters’ to allow players a wide variety of creative freedom. Emotes should be based around fan-favorite Lost Ark NPCs (including Sidereals, Legion Commanders, rapport characters, Mokokos, or other notable characters from Arkesia). If you're looking for inspiration, you can think about these characters emotions when seeing or facing Thaemine. In Korea, player-centric emotes were added to the game when the first group proved victorious over Thaemine. While we have plenty planned to celebrate the first groups to clear in the West (learn more in the Thaemine The First Details Article), we wanted to open up the emote section after the wildly successful competition last year that resulted in many of the most popular emotes being added to the game. Competition Details Submission collection for the emote contest will run from April 8 to April 29. After the submission deadline ends on April 29, our teams at Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG will spend a few days selecting 10 finalists. Once the finalists are selected, the 10 emotes will be added to Discord, and the Lost Ark community can vote on their favorites by using reactions in Discord from May 3 - 10. At the end of the week, the top 5 will be selected as winners and added into the game for all players to use! Adding the final emotes to the game will take several months, and a final date will be announced after the competition. The prizes? The five winners will have their emotes uploaded into Lost Ark for the community to use! Additionally, all ten finalists will receive the ‘Masterpiece Creator’ Title in game, and the 10 finalist emotes will be available for players to use in the Official Lost Ark Discord. You can enter your submissions to the emote contest through the Official Lost Ark Discord by creating a post in the 2024 Emote Contest section of Discord (#2024-emote-contest-entries) with the image of your artwork attached. The submission requirements include: Submissions must be centered around an NPC in Lost Ark (including Sidereals, Legion Commanders, rapport characters, Mokokos, or other notable characters from Arkesia). Player characters do not count. A JPG or PNG under 25mb Ideal emote size is 500x500 at 300 DPI. Submission emotes need to be static images with transparent backgrounds unless there are intentional design decisions requiring a background ******. Submissions must include character name and server name of the player submitting. When preparing the winning emotes to be put in-game, some details may be removed or adjusted to better fit the game. Find the full contest rules here. If you’re unable to find the 2024 Emote Contest section of Discord, you can add the relevant channels to your list of viewable channels on the left side of your screen by navigating to “Channels & Roles” in the top left of the Discord UI, then navigating to “Browse Channels” and selecting the channels you would like to see. We’re excited to see what the community submits! Don’t forget to enter your emote submissions before the April 29 deadline, and check back on May 3 to vote on your favorite finalists. 13. Avatar is the star collaboration of Fortnite Chapter Five, season two, and it looks like more characters from the popular show are coming to the game sooner than we think. The ***** from ShiinaBR on April 8 suggests that tomorrow, April 9, the Fortnite Item Shop will receive three new skins that are likely from Avatar: The Last Airbender. While we don’t know for certain, the characters that will receive skins are likely Katara, Toph, and Zuko. The leaker added that this ties in with the fact that we’re also supposed to receive all the other bending types as Mythic items. According to the *****, the outfits themselves will cost 2,000 V-Bucks each, and alongside them, we’ll receive three pickaxes, three back blings, and one emote. View the full article
  14. Ever since I learned about it, I have not been able to stop thinking about Sushi Soul Universe, the only new Nintendo Switch game you should care about. Princess Peach *********? Who needs it! That pink dictator is old news, because there's a new Switch game in town, and its name is Sushi Soul Universe. In this absolutely surreal platformer, you are a man who loves sushi, and if you don't eat sushi you will ****. Then one day, on a street corner in Shibuya, he discovers that sushi is disappearing from the world. Enter the Great Will of Sushi, and so starts a journey where you have to change the very fabric of the universe to save sushi. It is quite easily the wildest concept I've seen so far from a game this year, and I am absolutely all in on this bananas rodeo. The concept might be out there, but honestly the gameplay isn't too hard to understand. In it, you are literally just a guy, and there is a bar that is constantly going down unless you eat sushi, and if it runs out, that's out, you're *****. Certain levels you have to collect a certain amount of sushi, others you just have to make it to the end of the level, occasionally you'll have to avoid certain hazards, the sushi-loving protagonist is shouting literally all of the time, and it even has its own anime opening-eseque theme; it's got the makings of a genuinely solid platformer. 15. XCOM 2 and Red ***** Redemption might not initially seem like the perfect match. The Firaxis strategy game is small-scale, turn-based, and highly tactical and cerebral. Contrast that with RDR 2, a sweeping sandbox western where combat relies on reflexes, and it's tough to imagine two games that are more drastically different. Nevertheless, one visionary developer has managed to bring these two PC classics together. Mixing the hex-map, dice roll moving and flanking of XCOM 2 with the cowboy overtones of Red ***** Redemption, this is a smart new roguelike that you can try on Steam right now. 21. Image: The Verge Nintendo is officially closing the chapter on the Wii U and 3DS. Today is the final day to play online on either console, and it’s kind of making me want to dust off the Wii U just to play the original Splatoon online one last time. The Wii U was far from Nintendo’s most popular console, but I still have a lot of great memories with the machine. It was the first console I used to play competitively. As someone who never really liked the pressure of playing with complete strangers in games like Halo or Call of Duty, the Wii U allowed me to break through that. It let me jump right into Mario Kart 8 with players from all over the world while raging behind my TV screen as the blue shell ruined my first-place finish. I didn’t have to worry... 22. Image: Nintendo The release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons couldn’t have been better timed, very specifically for me. The Christmas before, my partner bought me a Switch, and for about a decade before that, the only console I’d owned was a modded Wii because I’d sold the roughly two dozen systems I’d collected in an effort to reset my relationship with gaming. But there was also the fact that just days before, I was furloughed from my job at a brewery because of a pandemic and businesses throughout my city had shut down. I spent hundreds of hours paying Tom ***** his blood money, gaming the turnip market and carefully laying out my island, complete with a theme park and a Halloween land. My partner played, too, and after a short while, I bought her a... Continue reading… View the full article For verified travel tips and real support, visit: [Hidden Content]
